Tiny tent site on the edge of a hill, right up against the highway. The vehicle sounds all night long were pretty awful :(

We had a tent site at the very top of the campground. I gave 4 stars due to we set up on a gravel spot which is not a problem except it was nearly impossible to get our tent stakes secured down. We bent almost all our stakes. The campground staff was friendly and helpful, the bathroom facilities were clean and well maintained and our child loved Pete and friends and feeding them. We will be back!

The pool, hot tub and hosts were all awesome! The tent spot/parking was very small, we hardly had room to put up two chairs outside the tent, very misleading photos. If we had the chance to stay again, would definitely stay in the primitive, not sandwiched in where there was no room to sit and enjoy.

Location is great, the people running the camp were super nice. Big shout out to Gary, I wont get into details but he helped me in a big way. He also befriended my son who has the same name and made his stay more enjoyable. The donkey, Pete, and his goat friends were a nice touch. The pool and hot tub were open which was fun. The tent sites were a little small but served us well.

The hosts were fantastic! We loved the location and convenience of the trolley! Pete the donkey was a hit. Tent site was very small and we could hear people snoring in the tents of the adjacent sites. But all in all the location was great and the hospitality was outstanding!

Nice bathrooms/showers. I imagine it’s a bit cozy when busy as the sites are close together, but it was perfect when I was there. Gary and all the staff I met were super friendly and helpful!

I loved it. Managers and all staff members provided excellent customer service. I wish all KOA campgrounds would manage like Deadwood location. I also loved the whole "vibe" of the place. I'll be back

We have always stayed here whenever in the Deadwood/Sturgis area, and love this CG. This time we especially loved Pete and the goats. Keep up the good work.

Very nice place, quiet, peaceful. Bathroom and shower facilities were very good. The fellow and the lady that checked us in were great. I would stay here again, if I am passing through.

As a full time RVer I have been to my share of KOA's. The two that run the BH's KOA were phenomenal. Super friendly crew and a great facility. I was in for Sturgis and would definitely return to this location. Plus, you get a mini petting zoo with 3 goats and the donkey Pete. Book it, you won't regret it.

Beautiful setting. Thoughtfully placed in a quiet tent spot near the playground and bathroom, which was perfect for our daughter. Everything is thoughtful about how this KOA is set up, even down to the goats and donkey. I hope to visit again when it isn’t Sturgis Bike Rally season.

The store/main office was nice and stocked with supplies a visitor may need. Staff very nice. The only recommendation I would offer would be to purchase/install a higher CMF fan fro the exhaust in the restroom/shower room because the odor was very bad, almost not tolerable after someone had used restroom. Higher CMF fan would definitely be an improvement.

Stayed on site two nites. Campsite was very comfortable, great swimming pool and the staff could not have been more helpful. The trolley into Deadwood was a great convenience! Enjoyed my stay!!

It was perfect!!! We had a perfect tent site, enjoyed the hot tub after hiking, and the showers were clean and hot! The hosts were very accommodating and kind. Loved it!

Very well kept and they have a good setup for entertainment at the campground as well. Owners are amazing people and even let us stay in a cabin during a storm. Definitely staying there next year when we visit again. Best campground I’ve stayed at yet.

Great location in the Black Hills. Convenient location to Deadwood and area for sightseeing. The pool wasn't open yet. The restroom and shower area was always very clean. The host was friendly and helpful. My only concern is the RV sites are small and don't provide much privacy.

This KOA was a nice place to stay. It is on a hill with 4 'steps' carved into the hill to stay on. Larger campers should stick to the lower levels. We have a van camper and we had a spot at the top. The view was spectacular. The camp is quiet with hill top cabins, all with great views. The laundry room had newer equipment and each rest room had it's own shower. The pool was closed, maybe it opens in June, we were there in late May. The trolly into town is nice...we chose to hike. While the park does have a few rough spots, it was a beautiful and quiet place to camp.

Wow, this place is beautiful! Check out the adorable Conestoga Wagons and some of the remodeled rooms! Clean bathrooms and showers, nice playground, great trolley that brings you right into downtown Deadwood. Very peaceful!
