Nice quiet campground. Great to be able to take the city trolley into town. Our hosts Gary and Dana very helpful and friendly.

Our site was so tightly squeezed between two others that I our slide was too close to our neighbor, and that was after we moved as far over our patio as possible. So when our neighbors were outside smoking it drifted into our trailer and we were forced to close our windows. Not fun.

We LOVE staying at the Deadwood KOA! Gary, Dana, and staff, always make sure their guests are well taken care of. They are easy to work with and are very personable. Rip and Jasmine are an added perk also ��.

It is not a modern campground and the sites are not that big. But the way the hosts make you feel at home is unbelievable. they do everything possible to make your stay a great experience. the beauty the park is located at is breath taking. Will be going there again for sure. Thanks again Gary and Bill.

Quick stay for us that we enjoyed. Pluses - friendly staff, shuttle to Main Street in Deadwood. Minuses - pretty compact campground built into the hillside which means tight spaces, wouldn’t keep us from staying again though.

Beautiful, clean, and enjoyable campground with awesome staff! The KOA closer to Mount Rushmore would have been more convenient, but I am so glad I chose this one way from all the touristy stuff. Great location, and though it's close to the highway and airport it was really quiet and enjoyable.

Nice, beautiful area. But camp ground and very tight lots. Just my opinion but some campers bring everything with them camping, even kitchen sink. My truck got backed into the day I got there as I was going down to find out where I need to park my vehicle after taking off trailer, getting tired of people saying it was accident, I agree but couple had a spotter navy couple, very friend owners

Our family of 4 a pleasant 1 night stay on our way through during a very long road trip. The location was convenient and had laundry and clean hot showers. Spaces were tight but the campground wasn't full and we got a free upgrade to a site with a deck, so we had plenty of elbow room. Overall, enjoyed our stay very much.

The campground and bathroom was very clean. We really enjoyed our short stay but thank you for having a trolley to take i to Deadwood so we could enjoy a dinner out and a look around the Historic town. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and full of information.

Very warm, nice and charming welcome. Extra clean, newly renovated and convenient washroom block. Usefull trolley to downtown Deadwood with many stops. Well worth the stop. Thanks again for the extra!

The staff was extremely helpful. The restrooms/showers were clean and comfortable. I liked the mosaics. There could have been a few more restrooms. Sometimes we had to wait.

We only stayed for the night as we were passing through. The back in sites were very hard to maneuver our 28 ft RV as they were close together with other sites and the vehicles around them. However, the campground was in a great location, the employees were super friendly! We loved the trolley pickup that took us to Historic Deadwood. I would definitely recommend this campground!

Staff very nice. Clean bathrooms, showers, laundry area and store. Sites are small and very close together. Beautiful scenery. Trolly comes thru ever other hour to take you to downtown Deadwood.

Great place to stay. Close to Deadwood and even though not in season yet they had the shuttle stopping to take us down to Deadwood. Very quiet and nice clean facility. Loved the Goats and Donkey!

It was a very nice time. It is an easy drive to all interesting points. The camp mascots were constantly around for an ear scratch and to make guests smile

Did not stay in our camper very long at all as we were touring all day. Had a little bit of a hard time parking the camper as one of the goats was in the way. He seemed a little too friendly as he tried to come into my trailer. But the campground was great and we absolutely adored the fantastic view we had of the mountains!

Your facility should NOT be able to claim the"KOA" title. Terribly un-level campsite, small sites, very cramped in our site a d could hear everything our neighbors said/did. Dirty surroundings. Ry poor transport service to downtown. Just an unclassy campground that should not be a "KOA". Stayed at several KOA's ob this two wk vacation and you just habe a lot of work to do to even compare.

The owners are great. Great location. Having a trolley stop is wonderful. But sites are too close for our liking. However, we noticed most campgrounds in area have sites close together so if one doesn’t mind that, this place is a good option.

Overall the campground was well kept and clean. Maybe needs a little more room on each site and perhaps some more signage for faculty use is needed- ie the Laundry room, but overall a good stay, would recommend.

Great location in the Black Hills. Convenient location to Deadwood and area for sightseeing. The pool wasn't open yet. The restroom and shower area was always very clean. The host was friendly and helpful. My only concern is the RV sites are small and don't provide much privacy.

This KOA was a nice place to stay. It is on a hill with 4 'steps' carved into the hill to stay on. Larger campers should stick to the lower levels. We have a van camper and we had a spot at the top. The view was spectacular. The camp is quiet with hill top cabins, all with great views. The laundry room had newer equipment and each rest room had it's own shower. The pool was closed, maybe it opens in June, we were there in late May. The trolly into town is nice...we chose to hike. While the park does have a few rough spots, it was a beautiful and quiet place to camp.

Wow, this place is beautiful! Check out the adorable Conestoga Wagons and some of the remodeled rooms! Clean bathrooms and showers, nice playground, great trolley that brings you right into downtown Deadwood. Very peaceful!
