Lovely campground. Clean and nice.The store smelled like chemicals. I am very scent sensitive so could hardly look around the store. Not your fault, but our bus never came to take us into town. Thanks, Julie

The roads are well maintained and easy to navigate. The site was pretty level. The pad was nice, the picnic table was in good shape, and the chairs were nice. The water pressure was just fine, and the WIFI was quite fast. The owners Gary and Dana were very nice. The pool was clean, and there were some goats and a donkey for the kids to pet. We would definitely stay there again.

The place needs some work. We stay in a cabin and the faucet in bathroom was not connected to the sink. Owners were amazing!

It was FANTASTIC! We loved our time with Gary and Dana. We have been to many KOA properties over the years and this is one of our favorites. Clean spaces, very quiet and just beautiful. We will be returning!

Loved the luxury covered wagon and patio with propane grill and fire pit. The pool was great. Wish the store was open later.

The new management have made several improvements and the facility is getting better by the day. The location and cost have always been great but now the facilities are approaching exceptional.

The campground was clean, beautiful and perfectly located minutes from downtown Deadwood! The owners were fantastic and truly care for their campers. The stay in the beautiful covered wagon was awesomely unique and incredibly comfortable for our family. It was an all around great experience!

Loved the cabin, showers clean, but toilet seat/lid unhinged and no wifi reached our areas of the campground. With cell service also out (cell towers being redone, we heard), we were unable to communicate with anyone.

We stayed in one of the Wagons! It was beautiful inside, and very clean. Our family enjoyed the amenities they offered. They really thought of everything to make our stay more enjoyable. The staff was very friendly. The bathrooms were the cleanest that we have seen at KOA. Our son enjoyed visiting Pete, and the baby goats. We will definitely be back and recommend to others that we know. Thank you!

The cabin we rented was charming and had everything we could need. Hiked the little trail nearby, and enjoyed the goats and donkey. The boat couldn’t be any nicer and accommodating. I’d highly recommend staying here, it’s unlike any KOA I’ve very been to; felt daily private and surrounded by beauty!

The campground is very clean and has beautiful views. The campground owner is very friendly and accommodating! I love that this place was close enough to deadwood and all the activities and restaurants. Would highly recommend this campground.

I love this KOA, its one of my favorites! But it's definitely time for an upgrade in the cabins. I highly recommend that the owners ditch the cable t v, upgrade the Wi-Fi signal, and put in a Mini fridge and microwave. Thanks for another lovely stay!

Great location. This time of year it was beautiful. The leafs were a bright yellow. I plan on coming back. Restroom were very clean as was my cabin.

Disappointing. They used the words “Luxury Lodge” for a small mobile trailer that was falling apart and way over priced. The mattress was old/broken down. It was not cleaned before we got there-garbage was left under the bed & in bathroom. Floor was not clean. Kitchen was equipped with mismatch items that needed to be cleaned before use. Location was beautiful. Don’t rent the luxury lodge.

Staff was friendly. Campground was clean. Cabin itself was nice. Cabin was on stilts on the side of the hill. No flat area at all around the cabin. It did have a nice wrap around deck that held a swing and picnic table. Had to park almost on top of the cabin to allow for room for other vehicles to pass. No way to turn vehicle around once you parked, had to back out past 4 other cabins.

We stayed in the covered wagon. It was really windy that night, so the wagon rocked all night long. None of us got much rest. We opted for a hotel room for the next night.

We loved that cabins were more secluded on hills, more spread out. Loved that my daughter could feed the goats/donkey, swim, and search for gold. The individual bathrooms were amazing, PRIVACY IS HUGE! Only worry was the bathroom included a shower, I was nervous I was taking too long in shower. Would be nice to see a sign (using shower - 10 min) etc. BEST KOA YET, we will be back! Kind workers!

Such a cute KOA. Super friendly staff. The new owners were wonderful, and Bonita is the best! We absolutely loved staying in the cabin on the hill! Would definitely stay here again.

Hosts are great folks. Campground is well run and clean. It would be nice to have a few more toilets. When the place is busy it is hard to get a bathroom. We stayed in cabins. Stated climate controlled so I assumed A/C and there was only a heater. Hit 100 degrees so we left early. Also brought my laptop for work, but I couldn't even load a web page. Otherwise this is a 5 star place!

Only one bathroom faucet worked, lights above sinks didn’t turn on, no TV- gave feee coffee/donuts ( for no TV), and shower door stalls didn’t latch shut without a lot of force in women’s bathroom. I left my sweatshirt there and no one called to tell me

We stayed in a cabin with a bathroom and it was wonderful! Clean, modern and a great space to hang out outside the cabin. The view was awesome and the owners and staff were great. Traveling home to Michigan from Colorado and it was the best part of my vacation! Although seeing the Badlands was just as good. Thanks for everything

Great location in the Black Hills. Convenient location to Deadwood and area for sightseeing. The pool wasn't open yet. The restroom and shower area was always very clean. The host was friendly and helpful. My only concern is the RV sites are small and don't provide much privacy.

This KOA was a nice place to stay. It is on a hill with 4 'steps' carved into the hill to stay on. Larger campers should stick to the lower levels. We have a van camper and we had a spot at the top. The view was spectacular. The camp is quiet with hill top cabins, all with great views. The laundry room had newer equipment and each rest room had it's own shower. The pool was closed, maybe it opens in June, we were there in late May. The trolly into town is nice...we chose to hike. While the park does have a few rough spots, it was a beautiful and quiet place to camp.

Wow, this place is beautiful! Check out the adorable Conestoga Wagons and some of the remodeled rooms! Clean bathrooms and showers, nice playground, great trolley that brings you right into downtown Deadwood. Very peaceful!
