Absolutely loved staying in the wagon. Kamground staff were truly above the mark. Have already been telling people to come stay here. Loved our experience will be back.

We had a great time. This was our 30th time staying at the Deadwood KOA. We went there for 2 weeks every year for 29 straight years going thru 3 owners and then took a 10 year break and decided to head out again this year. We stayed in Lodge 4 again as we did in 2012. The new owners were absolutely the best. We hated to go home. We hope to be able to go back next year.

One of the best KOA's I have stayed at. The owners are great. So friendly, helpful, and you can tell they take pride in the campground. Flowers, renovated bathrooms, and personal touches everywhere!

We had a wonderful stay in one of the Covered Wagons. It was an awesome experience! The owners and everyone we encountered were very nice and friendly. We enjoyed the pool, shopping in the store, and the clean bath/shower facilities. We would definitely stay here again!

Very nice people. Very hot day they were so kind and had our air conditioning going when we arrived so we were comfortable. Lovely grounds. Did not use bathroom at campground as our cabin had one.

We stayed in their new covered wagons and they are delightful! They are super comfortable and very well appointed. The new owners are friendly and accommodating. The trolley to town is handy. Highly recommend the wagons!

Very crowded. Stay started off well but not a great campground. Staff seemed friendly but didn’t adhere to their own rules. The dog of the owner jumped off the golf cart at other campers animals. Something seemed odd about this spot.

I made a mistake when making the reservation, the website automatically went to September, I needed June which meant I did not have a reservation when I arrived, they were closed and I was able to get a motel for the first night. As well they had availability on my second night. September reservations, they refunded the whole amount even though they did not have to. Way to go the mile! Thanks!

We stayed in a cabin, the campground was lovely has a creek flowing along side of it. The bathroom was beautiful, loved that it was a whole private unit (toilet and shower).

We had a great time. It started out with KOA mascot dog. So sweet we love to see him. The KOA has done wonderful upgrades to their bathrooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful

Great location, great deluxe cabin, hosts are super nice, great variety of items to purchase, etc. Downside: the pool was just being heated for the season - sounded like repairs had to be made. Hot tub was not filled or working. Bathroom smelled like urine in cabin, like might have septic issues or venting issues (bathroom was clean). Campground is on a hill and parking is tight. Not good 4 kids.

We stayed in one of the covered wagons $250 a night. There was a drop off at the back of the wagon and I fell 3 times and after two days am still hurting. Many bruises and had to ask the store clerk / owner for band aids because I was bleeding. They didnt seem concerned when I told them. Would never stay there again. Hot tub was closed. Pool was freezing cold. Prices in store outrageous.

I dress old west when going in town of Deadwood, and can count on this campsite... cabins are of logs and are cute. There are also tent areas to stay/ and a wagon cabin that looks like an old west style wagon that has wheels underneath.. and tent like cover over it. I'd like to try that sometime.Very reasonable prices... very clean and tidy campground...a family or travelling pals place to go.

Great campsite conveniently located just minutes from downtown Deadwood. Removed far enough from the road that you barely hear the traffic. Very clean. Friendly staff.

We stayed in a very nice little cabin. Very clean, . Only thing was, 2 of the 4 faucets in womens BR next to office didn’t work. And one only worked while you held it down.

My only issue (and it’s not even that big of a deal) is that the laundry is in the office so it’s only accessible when the office is open. We had to plan our day so we’d have time to get in there while still open.

Staff was very friendly and working hard to get the place back in shape. New owners but they were doing everything they could to bring it back up to standards. Grandson loved the Donkey and Goats.

The location is away from the craziness of downtown. The owners were very friendly and really helped us solve a problem. The view great, close in but beautiful.

Nice KOA, set up well, easy to access. Has all the hookups, multiple settings. Tent, cabin, campers and trailers and 5th wheel. Great view.
