If u want to stay close to town this may be your place. Sites are very close and u may have some short turns to make. It is on a hill side. We were so close neighbors were stepping on our power cord and disconnecting our power. Was not convinced our 30 amp line was working correctly, blew a couple of time with very few things turned on. It is clean with all the stuff u would expect from a Koa.

The store/main office was nice and stocked with supplies a visitor may need. Staff very nice. The only recommendation I would offer would be to purchase/install a higher CMF fan fro the exhaust in the restroom/shower room because the odor was very bad, almost not tolerable after someone had used restroom. Higher CMF fan would definitely be an improvement.

I loved the campground and area, however I was very disappointed at how they acted towards paying customers and knowingly committed fraud. They charged my grand daughter twice and called my other grand daughter a dirt bag for not paying even when she has a receipt for paying! They are unhappy people that work there and they have lousy customer service skills!

Horrible when I arrive and my cabin was switched without even asking my permission or calling and then child tax added wen my kids are all under 7 u didn't even ask. And then charge me wrongfully without my permission for other people not paying that's illegal and so wrong !!! Feel robbed vacation was ruined ! Lady was rude when I called said I gave permission I wasn't even there or knew till afte

Level parking, nice showers, new playground equipment. Pool looked nice but we didn’t hav the opportunity to enjoy it. Close to exit but not right on highway—-nice not to hear I-80.:)

Nice location for access to downtown Deadwood (designated KOA stop on the public transit trolley). Facilities kept up nicely by attentive campground hosts. RV sites are a bit tight and the tiered layout with cabins (with outdoor patios) around the perimeter can make for noisy weekend nights.

Stayed on site two nites. Campsite was very comfortable, great swimming pool and the staff could not have been more helpful. The trolley into Deadwood was a great convenience! Enjoyed my stay!!

Very highly recommended this campground! We have been coming to this one for many years now and out of all the KOA’s this one is our favorite-the owners are amazing! It has always been very clean and quiet here!

Owner was great and very helpful but this place is way too small for Class A motorhomes 35 ft and towing. The view is awesome and cannot be beat.

Lovely campground with a beautiful pool and hot tub and owners that genuinely care about their guests and their campground! We also enjoyed the shuttle service into town and our quiet peaceful stay!

I arrived 2 hours early, the office manager was sitting outside smoking and playing on her phone. She said no they were too busy, which is fine and I left. At 3 I returned and the manager was still outside talking to her friend and rolled her eyes when I pulled up. Later at the pool the womans daughter, her 4 kids and her friend made it impossible to enjoy. Worst experience I've ever had at a KOA.

The hosts were very pleasant, cabin was nice. It would be nice if there were more restroom without showers and the trail leading to the existing one needs work.

It was perfect!!! We had a perfect tent site, enjoyed the hot tub after hiking, and the showers were clean and hot! The hosts were very accommodating and kind. Loved it!

Everything was very nice! The owners were fantastic very helpful and friendly. Only thing I think the shower rooms could use some air conditioning it was a bit warm in there.

Great camp ground. Clean and well kept. Good views and easy access to the town. Need to put ceiling fans and mini frig’s in the cabins. Cabins get super hot even with the windows open.

Hosts were great, full of information. Bathrooms and showers were nice and clean. Goats and mini donkey were adorable. Pool and hot tub were a lovely bonus!

We really enjoyed our stay at this KOA. It is not too big. The bathrooms were clean. The kids enjoyed the pool. The couple who managed the campsite were friendly and very helpful, looking after everything we might need. We appreciated the propane fires at each site.

Gary and Dana could not have been a better host. Great service nice park very helpful in taking you to your site and directing you for hookup. When in Deadwood call them and stay a while.

They have sweet goats and mini donkey you can pet. Spots are tight due to campground on steep hillside. Bathroom was very nicely decorated with stone tile. Two of the four dryers were out of service. They offer a nice convenience store with apparel, fresh made doughnuts and coffee bar.

Very well kept and they have a good setup for entertainment at the campground as well. Owners are amazing people and even let us stay in a cabin during a storm. Definitely staying there next year when we visit again. Best campground I’ve stayed at yet.

Nice KOA, set up well, easy to access. Has all the hookups, multiple settings. Tent, cabin, campers and trailers and 5th wheel. Great view.

Whenever we're in the Black Hills for the Sturgis rally or just visiting we always stay here. The CG is now under new management but they seem to be doing a terrific job. This time we were tent camping in a site we last camped in back in 2013. I always recommend this place to friends, and those seeking a place to camp while in the "Hills." They also feature a trolley that takes you into Deadwood and brings you back.
