Great place to stay. They are so accommodating with everything. Talk about a handy and must stay if you are near Deadwood. Our grandkids could not get enough of the donkeys and goats and swimming was any everyday thrill.

This is a small and very clean campground. There is a hill to climb in and out. The spaces are fairly tight; however, maneuverability was not impacted. Very quiet and conveniently located for many attractions in the area.

1) Staff very friendly and helpful 2) Cabin was clean when we arrived 3) Bathrooms, showers were clean and well maintained 4) One night there was a group who were outside being loud after the 10 pm quiet time; we called the office and someone was out there immediately; spoke to them and the problem was solved. Would definitely stay here again.

Was a bad experience especially putting us by some stink animals and I will not be staying there again the smell was awful and campsite was to small and not much to do there

The hosts were awesome! The only issue I would suggest correcting is the bed in our cabin #3. I have a bad issue, and the mattress is extremely soft, and appears to need to be replaced. Besides this issue I would strongly recommend this KOA.

We had a wonderful stay at the Deadwood KOA, our hosts Gary and Dana were friendly and very helpful. The cabin we stayed in was clean and very comfortable. The views from the deck were great. It was very nice that the Deadwood trolley stopped at the KOA so we didn't have to drive into town to enjoy Deadwood. Would highly recommend the Deadwood KOA.

Host very friendly but this KOA is built on a mountain side with very tight spaces . My site had very fine stone almost like sand that got in to RV all the time . Also water run off made this muddy . I probably will not stay here again .i think there are better choices to stay in Deadwood for the value .

Quiet. No issues other than the site is a little difficult to get out of due to the hill. But still a GREAT site. All other sites seem to be great. Just don't hook up your weight distribution hitch til make the turn to straighten out. Have to make a sharper turn. Dont go all the way to the top. It is very hard to turn around in the tent only...easily confused for camper area.

The camp hosts were amazing, friendly, and helpful! The location was beautiful and very clean facilities. I would highly recommend staying here for anyone who gets the chance!

My 2 teenage nephews and I had such an amazing stay at the KOA Deadwood. We only stayed 2 nights but we wish we could have stayed longer! We stayed in one of the Conestoga wagons and it was a blast! The king sized bed was so comfortable and my nephews loved the bunk beds. There was a tv in there that we never used, though some families may. But it had air conditioning! That worked!

The hosts were EXCELLENT. But everything was tight. I get it. They are carved out in a little valley. But there was hardly any room between campers. Packed like sardines and no grass. Just gravel. The K-9 fenced area had very tall grass in some places. Ticks live in tall grass and dogs are unaware. My dogs headed right for the tall grass which stressed me out. Wish there was more grass in KOA

I stayed in one of the nice cozy cabins. Originally, I only reserved one night, but after checking out and my travels the following day, I was able to make it back to the location for a 2nd night. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this KOA!

Some intense thunderstorms rolled through, but the park people came by to make sure we were prepared and then checked on us again in the morning. The amenities were great and the trolley to town was super convenient.

Had to do some cleaning when we first arrived. Red dyed hair in the sink, dirt under the sink. Inclement weather would have made cooking hard as only had a gas grill outside, unless you used the micro wave to cook. Staff was very friendly and helpful at check-in and during the stay with questions I had.

Gary was wonderful. Always around to help. Tough KOA to get in and out of. We had a drive through spot, but had to really maneuver to get out of the spot. We were unable to just pull forward to get out. Nice KOA, watched a deer one evening on the side of the hill. I am not sure I would stay here again with the size rig I have, but smaller campers would be fine.

Tented it for the weekend with 2 kids, host and workers were very friendly and welcoming everything was clean and tidy. Kids loved the goats and donkeys. Best campground weve ever stayed at. 10/10!

Great location in the Black Hills. Convenient location to Deadwood and area for sightseeing. The pool wasn't open yet. The restroom and shower area was always very clean. The host was friendly and helpful. My only concern is the RV sites are small and don't provide much privacy.

This KOA was a nice place to stay. It is on a hill with 4 'steps' carved into the hill to stay on. Larger campers should stick to the lower levels. We have a van camper and we had a spot at the top. The view was spectacular. The camp is quiet with hill top cabins, all with great views. The laundry room had newer equipment and each rest room had it's own shower. The pool was closed, maybe it opens in June, we were there in late May. The trolly into town is nice...we chose to hike. While the park does have a few rough spots, it was a beautiful and quiet place to camp.

Wow, this place is beautiful! Check out the adorable Conestoga Wagons and some of the remodeled rooms! Clean bathrooms and showers, nice playground, great trolley that brings you right into downtown Deadwood. Very peaceful!
