Had a wonderful stay, nestled in the woods of a forest. Laundry facilities, pool and hot tub, a little store - but best of all, electricity and water at our tent site. Close to Deadwood and a perfect launch point for exploring the Black Hills region. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice campground.

This was our 4th year staying at the Deadwood KOA during the Sturgis Rally. The owners, Gary and Dana are great! The campground quiet, the bathrooms are very clean. It’s set in the side of a hill with a beautiful view. The little store/office offers a little bit of everything, and a nice pool and hot tub! Highly recommend!!

The camp hosts were very nice and helpful. The sites were clean, level and beautiful! The showers and bathrooms were always clean. We enjoyed our stay there very much and plan to come back again.

We stayed during the Sturgis Rally. We knew it would be very busy. The hosts were very welcoming and pleasant. The pool was clean. They had a Trolley to take you into Deadwood for the events. We would stay there again.

Dana and Gary took excellent care of us as our plans and vehicles changed. They’ve been truly kind, hospitable, and friendly The camp is in great shape, and I like the small camp set in the trees I also liked the relatively short walk from my tent site to the bathroom, and water spigots close by

Thank you. I had a good time at bike week.

We reserved a pull through but management changed us to a back in on the top level. It was difficult to maneuver and exit. The workers were nice.

Gary and Dana continue to provide the highest level of customer service we have ever had at any KOA we've stayed at. We visit for the rally every year and cannot say enough about how great our experience has been. It's affordable, clean, and quiet. We recommend this place any time during the camping season.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed every part of our stay here. The sites are smaller then expected, but it helped us become friends with our neighbors that was from all over. The trolly system was very convenient and easy to use. Was able to enjoy the night life and not worry about the drive home. Would highly recommend staying here! We will return again one day, hopefully next year.

We went during the Sturgis motorcycle rally and although it was busy there was a trolley from the campground to Downtown Deadwood. Very convenient. Camp hosts were very nice. Great stay and would definitely return.

Nice and quiet, tucked away from the main road with lots of shade. Friendly staff, pool, hot tub, small store with all the convenience. Trolley into town was a plus! This will be our go to place for Sturgis week from now on! We got spoiled!

We've stayed at 3 koa this vacation. Deadwood was the least favorite. Felt dirty comparedly. Bathrooms were not very clean. Even in the mornings.other than check in, we never seen our hosts. The store was closed the whole time we stayed too. Just slabs for rv. Upside the hot tub was a nice addition.

clean and the customer service was great very friendly! Love the goats, Donkeys and Lil miss Jasmine!

Basic cabin no issues and very close to Deadwood, only thing I do not agree with is the overpriced cabins while the Sturgis week event. This charging 259.99 per night for a basic cabin. These cabins only have a bed and electric nothing else.

Gary & Dana, the Owners, leave their personal touch ALL OVER the Deadwood / Black Hills KOA! They're very friendly and willing to help. It's real convenient to Deadwood, Lead and the Mickelson Trail. It's super-clean and well-kept. It's a fun and interesting place. It's got a mini-donkey and goat zoo! Can't wait to stay there again. We should upgrade to the deluxe cabin or covered wagon.

Friendly staff. Nice convenience store. Terrain is NOT user friendly! Showers are quite inconveniently located. Hot tub was gross. Pool ok but quite shallow. Refreshing on a hot day though! Trolly was a nice ammenity if you’re not in a hurry.

If you want to be near Deadwood this is the place to be. The trolley comes here every hour and takes you into town. Beautiful scenery. Full hook ups. But its Stewart that makes this place. So helpful. Took us to grocery store on our first day. A lovely guy!!

This place was excellent! It’s clean, beautiful, and the perfect place to stay for a Black Hills visit.

Loved our tent site here. Everyone was very nice and helpful ! Our daughter loved Nancy ! Great koa

The camp ground is small but clean and updated. The tent sites are very small and you fell like you are on top of your neighbors. I arrived early to check in and was told to come back in a few hours. Driving across the country and then being told that was annoying plus I wasn’t offered any advice on where to go or what to do. I needed to alter my reservation and they wouldn’t do it for me.

"Everything works!" From parents of a maintenance technician that's high praise. The bathrooms were amazing. The Donkeys were fun. WiFi was great. Hot tub top notch. Affordable. All good things.

Very nice camp ground, one of the nicest

Our stay was great with our 24’ travel trailer. We saw several larger units having a difficult time. The park is definitely tight and not recommended for larger units. Dana at the front desk was extremely accommodating.

Great location in the Black Hills. Convenient location to Deadwood and area for sightseeing. The pool wasn't open yet. The restroom and shower area was always very clean. The host was friendly and helpful. My only concern is the RV sites are small and don't provide much privacy.

This KOA was a nice place to stay. It is on a hill with 4 'steps' carved into the hill to stay on. Larger campers should stick to the lower levels. We have a van camper and we had a spot at the top. The view was spectacular. The camp is quiet with hill top cabins, all with great views. The laundry room had newer equipment and each rest room had it's own shower. The pool was closed, maybe it opens in June, we were there in late May. The trolly into town is nice...we chose to hike. While the park does have a few rough spots, it was a beautiful and quiet place to camp.
