Very pleasant staff and the Turners were great. Campsite was more than good. Our stay was very wet and camp area was muddy. A little more gravel would have been much better. This is not a big complaint just a suggestion. If I come back I'll stay there. Great location to see sites and ride the area.

Great management and great staff. Was a great time, very kind and accommodating. Will definitely have this campsite at the top of my list for places to stay for future Sturgis Rallies.

I can't say enough about the ownership team at the Deadwood KOA. I pulled in as a first time RV renter, struggling with some water pressure issues inside the coach, and the owner, Gary, spent about an hour of his time helping me troubleshoot. Not only did he selflessly help with our issue, he also personally arranged transportation to downtown Deadwood, as we missed the trolly. They're the best!

As a full time RVer I have been to my share of KOA's. The two that run the BH's KOA were phenomenal. Super friendly crew and a great facility. I was in for Sturgis and would definitely return to this location. Plus, you get a mini petting zoo with 3 goats and the donkey Pete. Book it, you won't regret it.

Good management… too much mud, u need more gravel….too high of price even if it was Sturgis week. The hot tub was too filthy and unhealthy too use… Still, great staff made it a good stay.

Gary was the best host I had a blow out on the way there and he did everything possible to help out plus helped me unload my bike. Thanks to him and his staff

Great place and location, staff was incredible and friendly. We smelt propane when used the fire table that they may want to look at. Will stay there again!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful setting. Thoughtfully placed in a quiet tent spot near the playground and bathroom, which was perfect for our daughter. Everything is thoughtful about how this KOA is set up, even down to the goats and donkey. I hope to visit again when it isn’t Sturgis Bike Rally season.

The camp hosts are very kind and accommodating. I saw the gentleman help guide several individuals into their spots. This was my third stay here. I love the black hills.

The hosts were very nice, the store, pool hot tub laundry room were all very clean. The only drawbacks are the Rv lots are very small so small your awnings come very close to your neighbors till outs leaving very little room to put anything of yours out to enjoy. Also the hiking trails were all but none existence

Sites and roads to get in/out were tight for bigger motorhomes (we had 38 ft plus tow car), but hosts were so helpful and personable it made the stay enjoyable. Campstore, laundry, bathrooms and pool were all very clean.

Great place to stay! I recommend it highly for everything from the location (close to Deadwood) down to the clean bathrooms. Their service is also excellent!

Our stay was great! The cabin (#1) was a perfect location - close to the KOA store, restrooms/showers, laundry, pool, & trolley pick-up...yep, trolley pick-up that takes you to downtown Deadwood ($2). The KOA grounds were immaculately kept up. Dana and Gary (our KOA hosts) were so friendly and helpful; local stuff & anything that came up! We definitely will stay here again!!

If u want to stay close to town this may be your place. Sites are very close and u may have some short turns to make. It is on a hill side. We were so close neighbors were stepping on our power cord and disconnecting our power. Was not convinced our 30 amp line was working correctly, blew a couple of time with very few things turned on. It is clean with all the stuff u would expect from a Koa.

Great location in the Black Hills. Convenient location to Deadwood and area for sightseeing. The pool wasn't open yet. The restroom and shower area was always very clean. The host was friendly and helpful. My only concern is the RV sites are small and don't provide much privacy.

This KOA was a nice place to stay. It is on a hill with 4 'steps' carved into the hill to stay on. Larger campers should stick to the lower levels. We have a van camper and we had a spot at the top. The view was spectacular. The camp is quiet with hill top cabins, all with great views. The laundry room had newer equipment and each rest room had it's own shower. The pool was closed, maybe it opens in June, we were there in late May. The trolly into town is nice...we chose to hike. While the park does have a few rough spots, it was a beautiful and quiet place to camp.

Wow, this place is beautiful! Check out the adorable Conestoga Wagons and some of the remodeled rooms! Clean bathrooms and showers, nice playground, great trolley that brings you right into downtown Deadwood. Very peaceful!
