Had a great time! Very clean, the new owners are so nice! The scenery is so beautiful. Our first RV stay of the season - we'll worth it. If you want more that a patio sized space - call and as for the executive sites. Wish I knew about them.

We had a great time. It started out with KOA mascot dog. So sweet we love to see him. The KOA has done wonderful upgrades to their bathrooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful

Great location, great deluxe cabin, hosts are super nice, great variety of items to purchase, etc. Downside: the pool was just being heated for the season - sounded like repairs had to be made. Hot tub was not filled or working. Bathroom smelled like urine in cabin, like might have septic issues or venting issues (bathroom was clean). Campground is on a hill and parking is tight. Not good 4 kids.

Just a stop over for the night. Office staff friendly. Restrooms nice although not many for the size of the campground. Sewer hook up was hard for my class B to use. Pipe up too high.

Amazing New Owners! This KOA has been thoughtfully restored..beautiful bathrooms with rain showers, very clean. Grounds are very nice, partially wooded, steep. Cozy pull through spots. Very nice pool, kids area and doggie spots. Trolly to Deadwood a real plus.

We stayed in one of the covered wagons $250 a night. There was a drop off at the back of the wagon and I fell 3 times and after two days am still hurting. Many bruises and had to ask the store clerk / owner for band aids because I was bleeding. They didnt seem concerned when I told them. Would never stay there again. Hot tub was closed. Pool was freezing cold. Prices in store outrageous.

I dress old west when going in town of Deadwood, and can count on this campsite... cabins are of logs and are cute. There are also tent areas to stay/ and a wagon cabin that looks like an old west style wagon that has wheels underneath.. and tent like cover over it. I'd like to try that sometime.Very reasonable prices... very clean and tidy campground...a family or travelling pals place to go.

Great campsite conveniently located just minutes from downtown Deadwood. Removed far enough from the road that you barely hear the traffic. Very clean. Friendly staff.

We stayed in a very nice little cabin. Very clean, . Only thing was, 2 of the 4 faucets in womens BR next to office didn’t work. And one only worked while you held it down.

The new owners are really upgrading. The remodeled bathrooms are awesome with the flat stone shower floors and mosaic stalls. The 2 covered wagons add a lot of ambiance to the campground & area history. We will be back soon.

Wonderful place to stay!! We had a beautiful view and with a gas fireplace on the site we enjoyed sitting outside in the evening relaxing after a busy day of site seeing.

My only issue (and it’s not even that big of a deal) is that the laundry is in the office so it’s only accessible when the office is open. We had to plan our day so we’d have time to get in there while still open.

Staff was very friendly and working hard to get the place back in shape. New owners but they were doing everything they could to bring it back up to standards. Grandson loved the Donkey and Goats.

Stayed 3 nights. Level sites with beautiful view in site 38. Had patio and gas fire pit. Showers on that level were excellent. Three individual full bath, modern updates, mosaic themes on walls in each bath. Laundry was pricey but nice and small store for your needs. Shuttle to Deadwood is great if you don't have a car, or if you do, limited parking in town. Nice, friendly staff.

The goats were so cute in the donkey definitely livened up the area. We did have a situation when we arrived but it was graciously corrected immediately -thank you- very friendly

It rained both days I was there, but I can tell you that the new owners and staff are great. It's wonderful to be slightly out of town in the woods and quiet. A Trolley takes you to many spots in Deadwood for $2. Can't beat that.

The staff is very helpful, even helping get parked the best for each site. The camp is on a very steep hill and the sites are very small and closely packed. The amenities are very nice with things I've not seen before like covered wagon glamping. Having the Deadwood Trolley stop at the KOA is a real plus.

Spaces are tight. Internet did not want to let us use the TV. Nice and close to Downtown. Trolley came right to the campground every hour.

Amazing! The owners and all employees were awesome. Very fried and accommodating. The campground is well maintained and they are always trying to make quality improvements. I give them 10 stars.

Liked this mountainous campsite, plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy the scenery. Deadwood is right down the road with a shuttle at the campsite that runs all the time into town.

The location is away from the craziness of downtown. The owners were very friendly and really helped us solve a problem. The view great, close in but beautiful.

Nice KOA, set up well, easy to access. Has all the hookups, multiple settings. Tent, cabin, campers and trailers and 5th wheel. Great view.
