The hosts were very helpful in all ways, even delivering us firewood to us at 9pm. The cabin was clean and comfortable in all ways

Cabin was great and awesome service. Dog park had a weird gate and a metal rod by the dog gate exit. My dogs foot got caught between metal rod and fence when she jumped up and we both got injured. Needs to be fixed so others do not get injured. I had to go to the hospital from infection in my hand. Talked to manager and showed pictures of the problem area. He didn’t show much concern for my ha

Everything was good. My only unpleasant shocker was the $3 charged to fill my own little coffee tumbler the first morning. It wasn't no Starbucks! (Not that I buy coffee from them.) Next morning I got my cup filled at one of the gas stations in down for $1.06, so at least I learned something for next time!

Amazing experience! Friendly staff, convenient location, stayed in a little cabin and it was perfect for the rainy weekend. Firewood delivery, escort to the our site… everything we forgot available at the store. I will be back!

I stayed over Labor Day weekend and for the most part the campground was a relaxing place. The staff were very friendly and nice to chat with.

Stayed in a cabin under the beautiful trees. Cabin was very clean and bathrooms were also clean. Groundskeeper was very friendly and the people from office were very helpful and welcoming. We had breakfast a few times, it was tasty and price was very reasonable.

We’ve stayed at this campground during our 2 trips to the Black Hills area. It’s in a great location-close to Custer and Mount Rushmore. Our cabins have been clean and so were the bathrooms (cleanest of any campground we’ve stayed at). The staff were also great and helpful. The Hosts (John & Janna) were very friendly and explained everything well! They took lots of time and made us feel like they were glad we were there, unlike some places that just want to hurry and get you checked in! The cabin was very clean and worked really well for what we needed. We felt it was reasonably priced in comparison to a motel and more private.

Stayed in a deluxe cabin very clean and comfortable staff was friendly and breakfast was very good and the KOA Is close to all the activities in the black hills.

We had a tent site reserved and changed to one of the cabins. Would definitely recommend camping there. Staff is very friendly plus Parrish gave us a lot of information on things to see and do in the area. Also enjoyed the Cafe for Breakfast.

We booked to days, but ended staying 3 days. Janny, was ready to help us. All your crew are wonderful and cheerful at all times. The breakfasts where always a hit. I enjoyed the area and the cabins. However.. The bathrooms needed cleaning or checking more often. The Washer and Dryers were pitiful ( 4 W/D for hundreds people staying there?) I think you could do way better!!

Owners were pleasant. Cabin was clean and showers were hot. We grilled out on a charcoal grill that was right in front of our cabin. We bought steaks right down the road from a grocery in Custer which is a nice little town. We packed up the next morning, stopped in town for a great breakfast at the Regis Cafe. Highly recommend!!!

We spent 2 nights, with our granddaughters in one of the cabins. We had a wonderful time. Cabin was great, kids enjoyed the pool, and bouncy pillow. They made friends! We won’t wait so long to come back.�ϋ�

This KOA was the best KOA we've ever stayed in. What made the difference for us was the staff. They went out of their way to provide the best customer service we've experienced at any campground in our travels. The icing on the cake for us was when the gentleman delivered our firewood to us in his pajamas. Having said that, it wasn't for the wonderful attire, it was that he did this with a smile even though we had not arrived back to the campground until well after the office was closed and it was already dark. This KOA is beautiful and has all the amenities that a traveller could ask for. It is located within a half hour drive of so many of the attractions in the area. We'll be back and we're hoping to have the same gracious and friendly staff to greet us again.

Our 2nd time camping here! Loved it 2 years ago & just as much this time! We splurged for a patio site this time & it did not disappoint. Nice, comfortable sites, clean restrooms & laundry area, well-kept grounds, super friendly & helpful staff (Special thanks to John & Janny, who were amazing!). Beautiful location & positioned perfectly to easily explore so much of what the Black Hills has to offer. Nice to be able to come back to your campsite after a fun day of exploration & be able to relax comfortably outside with a nice fire (some of the KOAs where we stayed on this trip, simply did not have enough room between sites to do that comfortably). We certainly hope to return...love this area & this KOA is one of favorite campgrounds in the US!
