The staff was amazing and very friendly! Our cabin and the facilities were great as well. Located close to Custer for easy access to food and activities. Overall, this was one of thr best KOAs we have stayed at. Highly recommend!

When I need a clean, comfortable place to stay, that provides the amenities I need without a bunch of add ons, I like the KOA cabins. I have stayed at several KOA campgrounds over the years in tents and cabins and I always enjoy my stay. The staff was friendly and helpful and the cabin was perfect for my stay. I have recommended KOA to many friends.

The pool and facilities are really clean! All the kamp hosts are friendly and helpful. Our cabin was great! We have stayed here twice and love it!

Very clean, well located by Custer, 30 minutes from Mount Rushmore. Our cabin had electricity, 1 bunk bed and 1 full size bed, a pic nic table and a fire ring outside. Staff was very friendly and restrooms were close. Only downside is that it is right on the road, do somewhat noisy but not too much. Would stay there again.

Our family of 4 stayed in a two room primitive cabin that sleeps 6. It was awesome. We had our bloodhound puppy with us so it was nice to have a little front yard for her to hang out with us at the picnic table and by the bonfire. We were also close to the Kamp K9 Fenced in dog park area so she had other dog friends to play with. We would stay here again for sure. My husband loved this place.

Was a great surprise find- loved our cabin stay- was clean and so quaint. Perfect spot in the Forrest to watch stars and the Milky Way by the campfire. Bathrooms were clean and the staff were very accommodating with our late check in and even able to have firewood brought to our cabin for our arrival. Only regret is that we did not book an extra night- so close to all the great sites.

This was our 4th time staying at the KOA in Custer. Hands down the best staff you could ask for! They are so nice and helpful! They are basically the reason we keep staying at that specific KOA. Thanks again for the great hospitality!

Staff were very helpful. Lovely location with trees for shade. Convenient to a variety of interesting places from Custer State Park to The Mammoth Site to the BHIGR museum in Hill to the mountain monuments. I recommend only driving the Needles highway through the Needles Eye if you have a small car.

Very friendly staff, great cabin- loved the linens. Only recommendation is putting an umbrella over the patio table and more umbrellas at the pool. Very clean camp ground. Quiet location- just far enough away from the hussle of the town.

We stayed in a two room sleeping cabin. The KOA had two sets of bathrooms, each with showers. There was a sink at the main lodge you could use for dishes. Kids enjoyed the pool and jump pad. Very clean, well maintained campground. Location was nice for all the area attractions.

We stayed in a deluxe cabin and it was very comfortable. The KOA employees were so helpful with firewood and a lighter since we’d forgotten to bring one. Breakfast at the main building was reasonably priced and tasty. This KOA was 10 minutes away from Jewel Cave in one direction and less than 15 minutes away from Crazy Horse monument.

The best KOA I have ever stayed at and I have stayed at a lot, especially this trip. The cabin was nice, the bed mattress was good. The bathroom and shower was awesome and so very clean, the pet park was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Was a great place to stay! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very close to all the sites we wanted to visit. We stayed in a camping cabin and it was perfect. They even delivered wood to our door so we wouldn't have to walk with it. Highly recommend.

Great campground with lovely amenities. Bathrooms were clean, common spaces were often, and having a pool was AWESOME! They even had a sink to do dishes which was so appreciated. The service was great and we just enjoyed the overall vibes of the campground.
