Very relaxing. All the staff were really nice. Although we did not have any kids/grandkids with us there were plenty of activities for kids to do. The only problem we had was adjusting the water pressure but we were to adjust it properly with the help of one of the staff members (unfortunately we did not get his name).

My favorite campground in Michigan! I love that improvements happen, staff are awesome and very clean and well maintained! Hopefully one day the roads could be paved. I have fur babies and it would make it cleaner for me .

We have stayed at South Haven KOA in the past and it was always a pleasure, this time the site we were assigned was nothing but sand and not level at all. We were placed right across from the Jump Pad and as a older couple with no kids it was early mornings when the kids started to jump on the pad as soon as it was inflated. I also think that the upcharge to reserve a specific site is overboard

Absolutely wonderful campground!!!! Our grandchildren don’t want to go anywhere else. The staff is so helpful and friendly! Thank you for a fantastic stay. We’ll be back many times with friends and family.

Love it! Everyone was so nice. Clean, well kept campground we were in site 145 which was very nice and large enough for our 42 foot fifth wheel and truck with room to spare! Pool area was very nice with a splash pad. Blueberry patch was full of berries and made for some tasty treats. Lots of activities for kids. They ran the train every morning we were there for at least an hour.

Awesome in every way great stuff to do great communication with campers by text messages kids really love it there then if you like fireworks your close the main beaches also.

It was a good stay, everyone very friendly and helpful. Did have a small issue but when KOA staff knew about it the issue solved. We were on electric and water, when arriving there were no full hook available. I would like to recommend a wait list and if something comes open, the possibility of moving to another site. It seemed there were many open sites during our stay.

Although it looks quite away from South Haven it is really just about a 10 minute drive north from the campground. All of the staff that we interacted with were wonderful people.

One of the best campgrounds we have stayed at. Very clean and well maintained campus Friendly staff. Nice accommodating office/store hours. Excellent communication. Amazing amenities. Very family. Not a single complaint.

Very friendly staff at desk, a lot of kid stuff. Only thing was pool was to full of kids for us old people to enjoy, but it’s for kids I get it. A lot of gravel so expect some dust. Bike trail is down road a ways. Will go back

For the price per night I expected nicer amenities. The pool was dirty, not enough chlorine for the amount of people. The pool bathrooms were filthy. The roads were sandy and not paved. Kids were building sandcastles in the roads. The blueberry trees were not ready. Kids left trash everywhere. Nice play area for dogs, kids were able to catch fish.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Attentive to our needs. The text messages to remind us of last call for firewood, ice and pizza delivery was great. Park was clean and well taken care of. Staff was out and about interacting with campers but I never felt like they were a bother or watching over me. Common areas were clean and well kept. Pizza and ice cream on site was nice.

This is a beautiful facility, but unfortunately the site we were in was very muddy and in need of more gravel. The site was very expensive and I would not expect to get my RV muddy at that price we paid.

The staff there is absolutely amazing!! They're friendly and so helpful. The campground was a great size; not too big and not too small. Quiet hours were enforced and that is always appreciated. The pool area was clean and well-maintained.

Beautiful campground with just about everything to do with the kids. Wish there was some sort of entertainment for the holiday weekend. I would highly recommend this KOA to all my friends and family.

Pros: Nice camp, comfortable, very family friendly Cons: Sites too close together, Campsite TOO expensive - $85 for a water/electric back-in site - highest we ever paid at a KOA in 15 years of RV camping

We were offered an extra night stay at 50% off then they said they didn’t have an openings 1/2 hour later. Firewood is kinda pricey for what you get…

Lots of ants at site and bathroom wasn’t the cleanest. Couldn’t use my electric razor in the small restroom because there was no outlet. Everything in the store was overpriced. We’ve been to this KOA several times and we were a bit concerned about this trip given all the recent negative reviews, but other than what I mentioned - nothing seemed too diffeeent this time.

We had a great time with my grandkids. One night we had a problem and I called and someone came out within 5-18 minutes. Will definitely be coming back.

Site 56 was very nice but the big bush right next to the fire pit could use trimming. Lots of activities for younger kids but Disappointing there aren’t more activities for older kids (no traditional basketball or volleyball) We were told they are planning to put in pickelball

The park was very clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Even thou I don't have children the park has a large amount of activities for them. I would recommend the park for families or couples just wanting to relax.

The friendliest staff I've encountered yet! Park is well kept with great amenities. Caught them right at their season opening as spring is starting to creep in, the weather was beautiful, the flowers on the trees just starting to bloom. Plenty of areas with trees for shade, but also plenty if you need open sky for a satellite dish. Cabins and yurts if you're not pulling a trailer or driving an RV, and a splash pad for the kids, or whoever can't handle their wine and shouldn't be trusted with a pool.

It was actually at the South haven Location this year. Last year was Covert. Both are always great campgrounds. By FAR though, the south haven location is the cleanest, most organized, nicest place I've ever camped at. The showers are hot, clean, room to move around, plenty of hooks for your clothes, etc...Just overall very clean and amazing friendly staff...Cant wait to go back. We always go for the Halloween trick or treating events. Tons to do for kids and adults. Worth It!
