General Campground Information

Firewood Policy

In an effort to protect our trees from the Emerald Ash Borer and the Hemlock Woolly Adelgid, we do not permit any of our guests to bring their own firewood of any kind. The state of Michigan prohibits the moving of firewood in the State and no outside wood should be brought into any campgrounds. Firewood is available on site for purchase.

Visitor Policy

All visitors and vehicles must register before entering the park and obtain a vehicle pass; a day use pass is $8.00 per person and gives visitors access to all  amenities on site that registered guests are entitled to . Visitors will be asked to park in visitor/overflow parking and not at campsites.  Visiting hours are over at 10pm.  Registered guests are responsible for their visitors adhering to campground policies in order that all may enjoy their camping experience.  It is the right of the campground to request registered guests and their visitors who choose not to follow campground policies to leave the park without a refund.

Select My Site

"Select My Site" is a new feature that allows a guest to reserve a specific site(s).  During the reservation process, an option is offered to view the specific sites available within a site type for your selected dates under the heading "Select My Site".  This feature offers guests the opportunity to guarantee a specific site of their choice for a one time, non-refundable fee of $25.  The one-time fee is assessed per reservation.  Please note, pictures of site types are representative of the type of site you are reserving and not of the specific site you are choosing.  While the Select My Site fee is a non-refundable fee, if a guest chooses to use it for their reservation, the deposit will follow normal cancellation policies which can be viewed under "Campground Cancellation Policy" .
