The cabin I rented was really clean. I enjoyed that my children and grandchildren were able to get a camper site right across from me. There were a lot of fun things for the children to do. We would definitely stay there again!

Loved our stay! The only complaint is the rude manager harassing people at the pool for drinks. She just came in yelling at people and asking if they can read. I just believe there was a better way to handle it. She was very unprofessional.

Our family stayed in the 2 bedroom cabins during our June stay. Linens were clean and cabin itself was in decent shape. Campground itself was well run with friendly staff. Great place for families with younger kids.

My wife and I recently stayed here. My wife broke her ankle badly three years ago. Matthew did a great job of resolving a dilema we had with the distance to the restroom. Excellent customer satisfaction. Thank you and we will return.

For the most part our stay was great! Most of the staff members were so so kind! Especially Chris! We did have one issue we brought up but the manger, Lisa, on staff that day was very rude even when the other staff members around were trying to be kind and accommodating. Hence the four stars and why I see why others said the customer service was lacking. But for us it was only the manger!

This year we booked a deluxe cabin and so did our friends. Their cabin was larger in both bathroom and bedroom space. They also had a stove top, which we did not but were expecting. Matt said he could not move us and would not credit us some money back. I paid the same as someone else for less and had to adjust my meals. Please adjust your website to make it very clear what we are paying for!!!!

We stayed in the glamping tents and they were VERY clean. The staff there was also very accommodating and friendly. If you're looking for a chill camping experience, I would definitely recommend the south haven KOA!

We got cabin C6 which is probably the worst cabin out there without air conditioning( portable air conditioning didn’t work and tripped multiple times during the night). Help was provided but it was disappointing that the cabin didn’t have swings and portable air conditioning didn’t work..

My Husband and I loved our first stay in the Glamping tent G3... It was our 20th Anniversary and getting away during peak soccer season with three kids was simple and the two nights were great! The Tent is so cute, Sparkling clean; The Front desk gave us an aim a flame (which we accidentally took home - sorry!) Needed a warmer blanket as the heat would not turn on? But the FireWood was so dry :)

We had a wonderful time at the south Haven/Covert KOA. It was out first time in the area and at a KOA as family of 6. We loved the cabin and all the activities at the campground. We will definitely be back!

The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly! Our cabin KL5 looked nice and updated, but we saw at least 20 dead and dying large brown stink bugs inside the cabin. It appears that the cabin may have been treated recently just prior to our arrival because they were crawling out in droves, and they were either dead or dying when we found them. That was the main point of frustration for us.

Was a very nice camp ground and the employees were helpful. They need to spray for bugs. The showers at the office were cold, and the bathrooms were far from the cabins. The bathrooms by the tents were hot.The kitchen was kind of hidden, very dirty, and the water was ice cold. You can tell they have been making improvements. Fixing the water issue and spraying for bugs are definitely needed.

I learned about your campground from a YouTube channel, and I'm so glad that I did. I am always trying to get my husband to go camping, but he needs a comfortable bed and indoor plumbing, lol. We found that by staying in one of your cabins. It was very clean, a beautiful campground, the staff was very friendly and we could tell they truly loved their jobs.

The park is beautiful. And the cabin was very nice. HOWEVER, the heater did not work very well. It was freezing in the cabin when we got there. We turned up the heat and it didn't get warm until about 2 in the morning. We had to throw the blankets off. We turned down the heat and it was still hot in the morning (7am) when we got up. Very dissatisfied with this. Had to cut our vacation short

Stayed in a beautiful cabin. We had a small issue and it was addressed almost immediately. We went in October during Halloween celebration weekend. The trick or treating, dog costume contest and the haunted hay ride was so awesome for the kids. Cons: We are glad we got a cabin with showers (which we normally don’t) bc the community showers were tiny and not connected to sink/mirrored areas.

Normally, I'd give this KOA 5 strars, but not this time. This was our 5th year for HW weekend & we were very disappointed. Without any forewarning, we arrived to find out the regular HW activities didn't exist anymore. No costume contest, no hayride to pumpkin patch, no pumpkin decorating and no haunted trail. We will not return for HW weekend here again. Sad to end a family tradition at this KOA.

We went during one of the Halloween weekends. It was the first time in the 10 years we've been visiting that the campground was not sold out. We were in one of the kabins around the pond and we hardly had any treat or treaters which was disappointing. All in all it was a great stay and everything is very clean. it is nice that we no longer have to bring our own linens. We will be back.

We stayed for the Halloween weekend as we have for the past 4 years. We were disappointed upon arrival to see there was new management and that we were not informed of the change. There was also no mention of activities for the weekend upon arrival. The activities were not well organized and the customer service during these times was horrible. Front desk and maintenance personnel were great.

We were disappointed to learn that there would not be a haunted hay ride this year. It was something that we always looked forward too. Also, our group (4 families) stayed in the cabins in the back near the pond and there was a terrible smell of sewage. The smell permeated the cabins with one cabin "gurgling" every time the water was turned on or the toilet was flushed.

I stayed in a deluxe lodge for a mom getaway. It was so clean and had updated interior. The staff was absolutely wonderful to me. They treated me like a princess. This place is a must do.

Always love staying there. A few suggestive things that would be handy but would not impact if we booked again or not. Extra hooks on the walls to hang coats, hoodies, etc I find handy when I stay anywhere We had dishes but not a knife at our cabin. Thanks for a great stay!

The friendliest staff I've encountered yet! Park is well kept with great amenities. Caught them right at their season opening as spring is starting to creep in, the weather was beautiful, the flowers on the trees just starting to bloom. Plenty of areas with trees for shade, but also plenty if you need open sky for a satellite dish. Cabins and yurts if you're not pulling a trailer or driving an RV, and a splash pad for the kids, or whoever can't handle their wine and shouldn't be trusted with a pool.

It was actually at the South haven Location this year. Last year was Covert. Both are always great campgrounds. By FAR though, the south haven location is the cleanest, most organized, nicest place I've ever camped at. The showers are hot, clean, room to move around, plenty of hooks for your clothes, etc...Just overall very clean and amazing friendly staff...Cant wait to go back. We always go for the Halloween trick or treating events. Tons to do for kids and adults. Worth It!
