We have stayed here several years in a row for Halloween. There are several campers who join us. We don’t have small children, but love to camp with our core group. I feel the rate per night is outrageous! We only have a need for full hookup, not a bouncy pad, pool, treasure hunt or any other kid friendly activity. It’s great you have all those things to offer. But it’s not for us.

This was our first time staying at this campground. Unfortunately, it was cold and rainy the entire weekend we all were there, so I didn’t get a chance to walk around and see all the campground had to offer. To the credit of the KOA team they made the best of it by still having the hayride/spooky forest event and trunk or treat costume event. My grandkids had a good time the whole weekend!

Everything was about the money! The only enjoyable part was the trick or treating and thats because the campers supplied the candy. The pumpkin painting was a joke! Your supply of paint was laughable! The girl in charge of the paint said " we had a big response! : well duh! It was trick or treat weekend!! We definitely will not be coming back to Covert koa

Fantastic weekend and camping accomidations! Even though it was rainy, the kids had a great time with the crafts, hayride and in-between rain shower playground play. We have already booked for next year!

It is a really nice place and fun to be at, but the price is killing a lot of us from wanting to return. The extra bathrooms they had was a nice idea but wow they are in BAD shape. Staff was super friendly.

Despite the weather, it was ok. We were at the back of the campground, very poor internet. Because of the weather, we were in the camper a lot. Poor to no TV reception. That was my complaint.

Site 224 was not a good site for a 37 foot fifth wheel . The campground had just put a lot of sand down due to water run off . My truck sunk onto the sand . I have pictures of where I sunk into the sand . The camp host I talked to about the sand said the campground was having problems with the sight . I aske how the campground determine where the put a RV for its size and he said a computer does.

Only stayed one night and it rained most of our stay. The bathrooms and showers were well below standard from where we have stayed in the past.

stayed in the glamping tent. It was our second time in one, first was at St. Ignace. It would have been nice to have directions to control the heating/cooling as we couldn't figure it out.

Had a great stay, park and people were fabulous. Close to great town to visit, and park has all the amenities for an extended stay.

Very nice stay. Well maintained property with plenty of public showers and restrooms. Nice general store with a variety of camp supplies, food, and souvenirs. The store did close at 6 during the week, which we weren’t aware of and was different than what was provided on the pamphlet. The staff were the highlight. All were friendly and helpful, with some great tips for a newer camper. Thanks!

The friendliest staff I've encountered yet! Park is well kept with great amenities. Caught them right at their season opening as spring is starting to creep in, the weather was beautiful, the flowers on the trees just starting to bloom. Plenty of areas with trees for shade, but also plenty if you need open sky for a satellite dish. Cabins and yurts if you're not pulling a trailer or driving an RV, and a splash pad for the kids, or whoever can't handle their wine and shouldn't be trusted with a pool.

It was actually at the South haven Location this year. Last year was Covert. Both are always great campgrounds. By FAR though, the south haven location is the cleanest, most organized, nicest place I've ever camped at. The showers are hot, clean, room to move around, plenty of hooks for your clothes, etc...Just overall very clean and amazing friendly staff...Cant wait to go back. We always go for the Halloween trick or treating events. Tons to do for kids and adults. Worth It!
