Halloween Fun! Very enjoyable! Three doggies in our party won the costume contest. (Our Greyhound grand dogs and our son's mother-in-law's Papillion.) We love being able to order wood for delivery!

We didn’t know ahead of time about the Halloween festivities so we definitely missed out on them but it was great seeing all of the decorated campsites and the kids trick or treating

Campground was nice, clean and staff were wonderful. I gave them a low rating for the lack of security. Security gates were removed. Anyone can come in at any time. We were warned by others to lock up everything.

We went during one of the Halloween weekends. It was the first time in the 10 years we've been visiting that the campground was not sold out. We were in one of the kabins around the pond and we hardly had any treat or treaters which was disappointing. All in all it was a great stay and everything is very clean. it is nice that we no longer have to bring our own linens. We will be back.

Had a great extended weekend! Always love spending Halloween at the south haven/covert koa. This is our 4th year.

Wow, very impressed from sign in to check out! What a fun time…trick& treating was amazing��� The giant �� were show stoppers��������& the little ��� Our neighbors were all friendly and had great spirit�� So much to offer all campers�� Shopping in Sturgis was really great too! Beautiful colors abound. ����������������

Wood bundles were half the size and over priced. People were nice. park was clean. Sites for the holiday weekend were over priced.

Friendly staff. Campground was clean Good size lots. Workers kept us informed with all of the activities that were going on. I would recommend this KOA.

We stayed for the Halloween weekend as we have for the past 4 years. We were disappointed upon arrival to see there was new management and that we were not informed of the change. There was also no mention of activities for the weekend upon arrival. The activities were not well organized and the customer service during these times was horrible. Front desk and maintenance personnel were great.

We were disappointed to learn that there would not be a haunted hay ride this year. It was something that we always looked forward too. Also, our group (4 families) stayed in the cabins in the back near the pond and there was a terrible smell of sewage. The smell permeated the cabins with one cabin "gurgling" every time the water was turned on or the toilet was flushed.

Was nice clean park little expensive. Was disappointed that they changed some of the activities. The haunted hay rack ride was gone and the walk through the haunted forest was gone. They had a barrel train ride which we waited in line for over an hour and then shut it down before every kid had a turn after waiting over an hour. Not sure if I would go back after losing those activities

Everything was fine. All sites amenities worked as advertised. Pizza was awesome. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very busy weekend with a ton of activities. First , I thought was pricey at $100. for a dirt site on weekends, but this was their big Halloween weekend with a lot of things to do. Would stay here again during the week.

Campground was beautiful with lots of updates. Only reason I didn't give them a 5 is that the bathrooms need to be updated. I would not shower in there in its current condition. That being said, the rest of the place was great. newer cabins so I'm going to talk our family into coming with us next year with the kids to enjoy their October festivities.

Thank you for the crafts and games. The restrooms and walk way should be better lite at night. We were disappointed that kids were fighting a lot and the biys were rude and took over the play equipment and wouldn't let girls play, were are there parents?

I stayed in a deluxe lodge for a mom getaway. It was so clean and had updated interior. The staff was absolutely wonderful to me. They treated me like a princess. This place is a must do.

Always love staying there. A few suggestive things that would be handy but would not impact if we booked again or not. Extra hooks on the walls to hang coats, hoodies, etc I find handy when I stay anywhere We had dishes but not a knife at our cabin. Thanks for a great stay!

The friendliest staff I've encountered yet! Park is well kept with great amenities. Caught them right at their season opening as spring is starting to creep in, the weather was beautiful, the flowers on the trees just starting to bloom. Plenty of areas with trees for shade, but also plenty if you need open sky for a satellite dish. Cabins and yurts if you're not pulling a trailer or driving an RV, and a splash pad for the kids, or whoever can't handle their wine and shouldn't be trusted with a pool.

It was actually at the South haven Location this year. Last year was Covert. Both are always great campgrounds. By FAR though, the south haven location is the cleanest, most organized, nicest place I've ever camped at. The showers are hot, clean, room to move around, plenty of hooks for your clothes, etc...Just overall very clean and amazing friendly staff...Cant wait to go back. We always go for the Halloween trick or treating events. Tons to do for kids and adults. Worth It!
