January always brings a new year, and if you are anything like us, it is a whole mess of bills. This year, we are looking forward to an improved economy. Until then, we are aiming to be the Schooner Tuna of camping. Schooner Tuna of camping? What? If you aren’t lost, you are my people. Let me explain for those of you who have no idea what Schooner Tuna is. Do you remember that movie in the 80s, “Mr. Mom?” The whole premise is the Dad of the family, who had been the breadwinner, lost his job and could not get another one. So, his wife went back to work in her prior field of advertising. She landed a big account, Schooner Tuna. The whole ad campaign focuses on not raising their prices because Schooner Tuna is aware that Americans are struggling financially. They want to be the tuna company looking out for America. We want to live up to our moniker, Kampground of America, by being the Kampground looking out for America.
Financial struggles can bring down your whole vibe. We know that getting outside and good times with friends and family makes everything better. So we want to take away as many barriers as we can so that you can go camping. Like Schooner Tuna, we here at the Corbin/Laurel Lake KOA are NOT raising prices for the 2025 camping season. We ARE bringing in lots of new amenities at no additional cost to you. Horseshoe pits are going in. A fun jump pad, foam parties are planned and so much more to come.
On top of not raising prices, we are making it easier than ever to get your summer fun on the books. $25 down per reservation allows you to book all your fun. Of course, we want you to stay with us, but there are several other KOAs that are also participating in this $25 booking fee deal. Just check the website or socials of your favorite KOA to see if they are in with Schooner Tuna, too, and get a booking! We can’t wait to see you in 2025!
