Cooperstown KOA has changed operations, guest amenities, and processes. These changes have been made for the well-being of our guests and staff. We know this hasn't been easy and that taking a break, when taken carefully, is a healthy choice. We ask for your patience with the changes we've made. More Details

The safety and well-being of our guests and staff has always been our top priority. We love the outdoors, and enjoy providing a place for our guests to relax and re-connect with family outside. Now, still in the midst of the Corona virus outbreak, we are committed to do this as safely as possible to avoid a Fall comeback of this aggressive viral bug and another round of sheltering in place. And we are committed to staying open and being there when our guests need us the most. Here's how we're responding. In compliance with guidance from NY State, the following has been put into practice. This is for the safety of our guests and staff and we mandate everyone's participation:

  • The playground and pool are opened to groups of up to 25 people at one time
  • Laundry room open, please wear mask and maintain social distance, which may mean only one at a time
  • Access to the laundry room is scheduled through call-in to the front desk
  • The dog park remains open, social distancing applies
  • The pavilion and game room remain closed until further notice
  • Low-touch/no-touch check-in process is in place, please stay in your RV or car and wait for KOA Staff to collect your information and then escort you to your site
  • A mask must be worn to enter the store, only 4 guests at a time
  • Social distancing of 6' is required in store and between campsites
  • No more than 10 people at a single campsite or campfire or other areas in the campground
  • Sanitation of high touch areas is done multiple times daily and also when needed
  • Due to financial constraints caused by the pandemic, Wifi is not offered this season

Deluxe Cabins
  • Will have one-time-use dishes, cups and flatware for greatest sanitary protection between guest check-ins, however, you may want to bring your own steak knife and fork if you like to BBQ
  • Guests will be asked to pack and tie off their provided trash bags, and all of their bed and bath linens into laundry bags that we provide

So please, come and enjoy a campfire, s'mores and being outside.  We thank you for your patience with all that has changed.
