Very enjoyable - we had a great time
Oct 21, 2023
All of the staff in the store/reception were very friendly and welcoming, gave us beer can sleeves and freshly picked apples and grapes. We liked our camp site, almost no one around. Plenty of trees, lovely lake, cute ducks, beautiful hill view and flowers. Well stocked stores, plenty of showers and other amenities. Some may need updating, but maybe it adds to the charm of camping.

My husband and I stayed for the weekend and it is a beautiful campground! Very peaceful and quiet. This being our first time staying here, we were not aware that the campsite we reserved (a back in spot) was very narrow. We have a small 20' trailer and it squeezed in but was tricky. So nextime we will reserve a pull through. Other than that it's a great place to camp!

One night stay, arrived late but enjoyed the morning around the pond before our departure. Too hot for a late summer visit, but the spring would be great!

One of the nicest parks we have stayed in.

I arrived after dark and there was NO electricity! Called the afterhours # on the brochure. No answer, four times. Saw Nick in the morning and he was apologetic and very nice. Went into the office and the elderly woman in there offered me a 10% discount! A "dry" campsite for $120 for the night?! No way. I hate to leave this review, but she is bad for business and I am unlikely to recommend.

Very nice campground, quiet and secluded. Only drawback is the drive in and out. About six miles to town and the roads are very narrow. Otherwise it is a great campground.

I like that it's in the hills with a nice view. very quiet.

Great campground. Not easy to access for a 40 foot motorhome towing Jeep.

Road up is narrow in spots, but doable and in my opinion worth it. I was looking for a pull thru because we were on our final stop before home and I didn't want to unhook the trailer. My site was a back in but deep enough to keep connected and more. Great views of valley, deer and turkeys walking through camp. Pond is beautiful with plenty of shade trees and seating. Great fishing for kids.

Facilities are not well taken care of,

Very nice facilities and the pond is a big plus with fishing. They had free snow cones on Saturday and a movie night as well. We didn't use the pool or hot tub, but there was plenty of people out there. I have seen many comments about the drive up to the KOA, but it only takes about 12 minutes from the 101 freeway. The last 1 mile up the hill to the campground is narrow in a couple spots.

Clean bathrooms and laundry but very dated. Beautiful location.
Sep 22, 2023
unfortunately, being allowed only 400 characters would not be enough to explain why we will not refer anyone or return to the KOA. It’s extremely rundown and to be frank, Pamela was rude and unconcerned about our request to choose our own campsite away from dogs because we have a cat I requested to choose our own spot. She cut me off mid sentence then put us across from the dog park. Park is sa

The camp was clean and quiet. The staff were kind and helpful. Thanks

This is one of our absolutely favorite places to camp. We love the campground and the wonderful facilities it has to offer. Our host, Pamela and her family are wonderful and extremely accommodating with any need that arises. They make you feel like family. Looking forward to our next outing at their KOA campground.

My wife and I had lots of walks in the morning and evening, tons to see! We purchased a pole and worms from the store and caught bluegill all day and had a blast. We are definitely going to come back soon with more family and friends!

Very nice place to stay to relax and do a little fishing in their pond. Catch and release. Site was level but the slope to the site area was a little to steep. Sites was big enough to fit our rig and truck and the site was spacious.

Nice location but very old and rundown.
Sep 11, 2023
The good news: the staff is genuinely friendly. The other news: It was basically a ghost town. Other than the pool, no amenities. No WiFi. Way over priced while in less than 100% condition ($105/night!).

Only stayed on night and did not use any of the amenities. Very nice park with large spaces.

We really enjoyed our stay at KOA IN CLOVERDALE, CA. We enjoyed the great environment. The birds singing like they communicate with people and the Ducks and geese, they are fun too! We enjoy all of it!! Thanks so much for making it a great place to enjoy. Friends - Jennie and Tim Gutierrez

Well, we made a reservation and we were promised a pull thru space. I came to the desk and the manager did not recognize my name. He then directed me or I should say lied and said, oh here you are, I know liars. Here is space 21 a back in space.we checked the space and the directions were wrong. We backed up and left. We are a long standing member. We should have a refund.

We camped at the Cloverdale KOA for the first time this August. When we arrived John was a great help. This was not only our first time at the KOA but our first time camping in our RV. My anxiety was a little high about parking the rv for the first time. John showed me the layout of the camp and told me the best way to pull into our spot. things went prefect. our weekend was great!

We stayed only one night. Enjoyed the pool and spa ( very clean) . We had plenty of privacy which we prefer( campground was was filled), receptionist was friendly

it was an overnight stay and very comfortable.

An absolutely beautiful setting with a ton of potential, however, it falls very short in critical areas. 1)The park was nearly empty yet they stacked the 6-8 campers they had in an extremely uneven, ugly area even thought there were numerous scenic sites empty. 2)Nonexistent pet area, basically a median, not fenced and dirt only. Planned 2 days, left after 1 night.

Beautiful large camp ground with pool and hot tub. Very quite during the week.

Tons of wasps, could not sit outside in nature to eat food. I’m allergic to bee stings so it would have been nice to know this about the campground. Pretty place, however…close to wineries.

They knew we were coming in to the park in a 40' motorhome and gave us NO warning that the road into the park (which was about 5 miles long!!!!) was lined with low hanging oak trees and a one lane road over a very small bridge. This is not a motorhome friendly park!!!

We came in on August 10 and stayed four nights. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed the pool and fishing pond. Everything was well taken care of. We had a fifth wheel, and our only issue was trimming a few tree branches that were hanging a little low for us. Other than that everything was perfect! Thank you.

The campground was clean and well kept. I just don't like to pay $60+ to set up a tent for one night.

Nice place everything was clean. Place needs a little TLC.

Only 2 things I would change about our stay. 1.Campsites are very close together (talk about highfiveing your neighbor from inside your campsites) luckily, we didn't have anyone in the sites next to us. 2. YELLOWJACKETS, SWARMED every day (stayed 2 nights so 3 days). You cant take food out of an ice chest, let alone try and cook. Everything else from staff, cleanliness to amenities were pr

I would rate this a 0 if I could. What a dump!! Bathrooms were filthy. NO shower curtains. No air conditioning in bathroom. Doors were wide open. Unlevel dirt site with just a tad bit of gravel. And all for $92.00 for 1 nite stay. What a crook! Waaay off interstate on narrow, sometimes 1 lane road. Can't believe KOA would even let them be a KOA!!! Where are standards. More...........

Site 41 was excellent for our stay and would be our choice on our next visit. While exiting there are several low hanging branches that rubbed against the roof. It would be helpful to have those trimmed. Located on the stree exiting site 41 and on the street as you make a left turn exiting.

Great Camp Sites, nice swimming pool... Hot Tube.... Fantastic view of Valley of vineyards. Friendly Staff.
Aug 12, 2023
Had a 3-night stay. Campground has a nice location and has lots of activities for children and adults. It is the nicest campground in the area of Healdsburg and Cloverdale. Both Petaluma and Cloverdale KOAs are a bit expensive, however.

Short but good. Staff very helpful and friendly!
Aug 12, 2023
Setting very pretty, nice views, pool, hot tub.Road to campground challenging, big elevation gain in 1 mile, very narrow winding, low hanging oak trees. River Rd and Asti Rd (the 2 approaches) are terrible roads with Asti only open certain times of the year.Sites uneven unpaved, sharp entries and drop offs. We are VERY experienced RV'ers used to towing big rigs, Not good for rigs over 30 feet!

The pool was very cloudy and not welcoming. It was very warm when we were there in late July, but we did not feel comfortable going in the pool. The pool was receiving heavy use and it did not appear that it was being cleaned as frequently as it should have.

This campground was a great jumping off point for our visit to Sonoma Wine Country. It was far from full, as I guess our visit wasn't during the high season. The road to get there was a little sketchy and 15 minutes off the beaten path. Other than that and being a bit overgrown, the campground was nice and accommodating for our stay.

This place is great! I had a short stay I one of the basic cabins. The cabin was clean and cozy. The property itself is beautiful!! They have a nice little pond in the middle that can be fished in. There are plenty of tent, trailer, and cabin sites to choose from. The restrooms, showers and laundry rooms were very clean. They also have a pool, and lounge/ eating area. The staff are really nice and helpful
