Cape Charles KOA is a well run campground, staff very friendly, and it’s in a great location! Loved the beach, and would like to come back later in the season when the beach bar and grill is open- it looked like a great place to spend an evening!

Fantastic, Loved it so much we became Seasonal campers this year. Every one working there was so polite, helpful in every way from escorting you to your site, assisting in you getting safely into your site, and asking if you need anything don't hesitate to ask . Every camper we met welcomed you there. Met quite a few that have been on site for 6-7-8 years. Stop in an see us and you will agree.

Beautiful, well kept grounds. Very convenient, fully stocked camp store with various food items as well. Spectacular view of the Chesapeake Bay. On site, overlooking the bay is Sunset Bar & Grill which has good food and beverages. Management is very responsive to any questions or needs. We will definitely be back. �

Nice location, had site 835. Had partial ocean views from RV. We were there mid April, so most rec stuff not open. Beach needed to be cleaned up, which they were working on. Really, my biggest complaint is the fee you had to pay EACH WAY when you crossed! It was $26 when we brought our RV. Then $16 each way.

We stayed in April,and my children love being one of the only families on the beach. This KOA is beautifully kept and the staff was friendly.

The escort we had to our site was wonderful! They were so helpful getting our trailer on our site. The men that help was so polite and knowledgeable about setting up our trailer. Thank You ���

we had a very good stay, the campground was very clean , the bathroom was clean, friendly staff, we would definetly come back., one of the better koa"s i"ve been to.

We were parked in the wrong spot on our first day which caused a trickle effect on where my inlaws had to be parked a few days later. It was frustrating. It would be immensely helpful if the campground would put arrows on the hookup boxes. It would make things alot less confusing for the staff and campers.

It took 4 days to get paper towels in the bathroom. My daughter got locked in the bathroom closest to the bay, and we were told it was her fault.(they are supposed to be "dummy knobs) nothing entertaining for my kids. Not a lot of places and restaurants open.

What a beautiful facility! Great amenities and thought put into this location. Would stay again if closer to home. Nice bath houses and very clean and well kept.

Koa booked the wrong day Because they were closed the day we thought we booked and was charged for a week later . We end up staying in a hotel that night because you were closed. I call when I received the charge to my cc was told owners would call. They never called.

We loved the Chesapeake Bay KOA. It was opening weekend so you can sometimes expect some hitches but everything was great! All of the staff were super friendly and helpful - you can tell that you really enjoy their jobs! Special shout out to Dan who guided us to our site and was consistently cheerful and helpful throughout our whole stay!

Candy greeted us and got us checked in with such friendliness. Dan showed us the way to our site…so helpful and friendly. We loved the campground and everyone there. All were so friendly. See you in 2 weeks.

We had a great stay at KOA Cape Charles. We go to KOAs often for tent camping but this was our first time here. Location is great, nice amenities but the staff are the highlight. We came on opening weekend so unfortunately, the Sunset Bar wasn't open, but we still went down and enjoyed the beautiful sunset. They don't have a lot of tent sites so if you plan on going I recommend booking in advance.

Our stay was a quick overnight stay. We swooped into town later than we wanted but we were immediately greeted with the friendliest of staff members. We made our reservation online as the staff was so busy as this was their first day open and they didn’t disappoint. Because it was so late we were to tired to head back out for dinner a pizza was made to order. We can’t wait to go back.

There was few issues pool open late in the season fireworks were canceled on the 4 th of July for no good reason . The park was not ready to open to guest on time. The pool was very dirty for most of the season water was green and not maintained . The was no water at the pool for guest to rinse off before getting into the pool. One more the ice machines they installed are a bad idea.

Excellent location with private beach. Lots of accommodation options, like cabins and glamping tents. Amenities, including bathrooms were well maintained. Will never forget seeing dolphins out on the bay at sunset!

most amenities (bar/pool) were closed or reduced hours (office/store), however very relaxing and everything was great (restrooms/showers clean). 2nd time staying here in last 3 months, very friendly and helpful staff. Miss Candy is AWESOME!!!! looking forward to coming back in 2024 during the summer and enjoying the swimming, dining, and drinks. We'll be back in 2024.

We loved the location and Joshua was so helpful and kind. He went above and beyond to assist. However, the grounds were so muddy that we were slipping like we were on ice. Gravel or concrete pads would be nice. The service is my disappointment. I was expecting an important mailing. Everyone but Joshua would not help me in any way. Four people in the office and no one would even move to assis

Stayed for a quick overnight, sight was a pretty standard size and relatively level. Bathhouse/bathroom was immaculate. Campstore/checking was clean, the staff was friendly and they offered free coffee which wasn't bad at all. The only downside is because if the two resorts the entrance was abit confusing and the barcode reader to enter the campground had two scanners one too low and one two high.

Excellent facilities and wonderful staff. FYI: the ninja turtles pinball is set TOO LOUD, and it’s right under a light that’s reflection interfere’s with play. Terminator pinball was out of service suddenly but they gave me my quarters back. Avengers pinball was EXCELLENT. Other feedback: finding the exit is really hard in a big rig. You need more signage. Had an awesome stay even with it being the off season. Can't comment on much (like the pool or restaurant as they were both closed) but the sites were clean and the employees were friendly. Shout out to Patrick & Joshua for being our firewood delivery guys!

We had a short stay and really enjoyed the Cape Charles KOA. All we met were courteous and friendly and the sites were well kept and very clean. The bath houses were also very clean and roomy. We will plan to return again.

The signage is awful. No sign telling us the entrance was coming up, how far until the entrance, then when you get there it isn’t clear. Then your exit is not good for large rvs. The campground itself is very nice, I liked the patio, furniture, grounds well maintained. We enjoyed walking on the beach and maybe sometime come when the restaurant is open.

We stayed for 2 nights in the off season so the pools and the restaurants were closed. The people were very friendly and helpful. The restrooms were clean and spacious! It was great to be able to take our pup out on the beach without a leash and let her run for a frisbee!

The check-in process was unnecessarily time-consuming. The other problem is the 'facility fee'. Since it was required, why not just tack it onto the campsite cost (i.e., be honest about it). The pool was closed so what facilities? Bad first impression, but after that it was very nice. The beach is great (including the dog beach). Campsites very nice, too.
