General Campground Information

Golf Carts

A $10 per day fee will be charged for guest golf carts. 
All guests must fill out a golf cart waiver for rental golf carts. 
There is no fee for seasonal campers who wish to bring their own golf cart.

Speed Limit

Speed limit is 10 miles per hour on campground roads and parking areas.

Cancellation Policy - RV & Tent Sites

RV & Tent Sites - If a reservation is canceled more than 48 hours before the arrival date all but $10 of your deposit will be refunded. Reservations canceled within 48 hours of the arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of the first night's stay plus tax. For holiday dates If your reservation is canceled 14 days before your arrival, we will provide a full refund, minus a $10 cancellation fee per reservation. Cancellations made after 14 days before your arrival are subject to a cancellation fee of the first night's stay plus tax deposit.

Cancellation Policy - Accommodations/Lodging

If RV Rental, Cabin or Safari Tent Sites are canceled more than 30 days from your arrival date, all but $20 of your deposit will be refunded. Cancellations made after 30 days prior to your arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of the first night's stay plus tax deposit.

Cancellation Policy - Groups

If your reservation is canceled 30 days prior to your arrival, you will receive a full refund, less a $20 change fee per reservation. If you cancel your reservation within 29 days prior to your arrival, all deposits paid will be consumed as your cancellation fee and your reservation will be released.

Vehicles

One vehicle is included in the site fee. One extra vehicle may be parked on your site for an additional $10 per day. All vehicles must have a valid state license plate and parking pass from the front desk upon check-in. We do not allow motorized scooters or any kind of three- or four-wheel ATVs or UTVs.

RV, Tent & Cottage Reservations

Extra fees will apply for additional adults and children in your party equal to seasonals visitor fee. Reservations guarantee a campsite but not a specific campsite. Management reserves the right to close any campsite for any reason. All campsites rates are based on two adults and two children.

Deposit Policy

The standard deposit for all campground reservations is the first night's stay plus tax at the time of booking.

Check In & Check Out Times

Check-in: 3 p.m. 
Check Out: 11 a.m.
Early check-in may be possible depending on availability. There is no fee for early check-in.
There is a fee for late checkout.

Bikes

All bikes used during dark hours must have working, white front lights and a red rear light or reflector. Lights available for purchase at the Camp Store.

11 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Visitor Policy

Campers are responsible for their visitors.
A $10 fee, which includes the vehicle fee, will be charged per visitor. 
All visitors must leave by 10 p.m. of the day they are visiting.
Visitors must not exceed the maximum number of guests allowed on a site.

Pet Policy

A copy of the rabies certificate is required to be provided at the time of check-in. All guests will be required to sign a pet agreement at the time of check-in. 
There is no limit to the number of pets allowed on an RV site. There is no pet fee charged for pets on an RV site. 
A maximum of two pets per pet-friendly accommodation per night are allowed. A $10 per day per pet fee will be applied to all accommodation reservations with pets.

Chesapeake Bay KOA General Manager Greg Linsmeyer has been passionate about the outdoors since he was a kid. A childhood spent camping, hiking and backpacking transitioned smoothly into a career centered around the outdoors. Greg brings seven years of experience in the camping industry to Chesapeake Bay KOA and he continues to spend as much time as possible outdoors with his family. 
Blue Water Development owns and operates Chesapeake BAy KOA. The Ocean City, Maryland-based company, was founded in 2002 by father and son team Jack and Todd Burbage and specializes in hospitality properties. Blue Water owns and operates campgrounds, hotels and attractions up and down the Eastern Seaboard.
