On this visit, I booked a Half Shell site and was put into Reef Site. No explanation given. Why show it on booking, if you don't get it? Please have manager give me a call to explain. George Coles, stay on site 819, from 8/27-8/30. Probably be awhile before we come back we usually come 2 or 3 times a year. No where to park truck and not be on neighbor's site. Camper was on the line from the road.

Awesome pool, friendly staff, and clean restrooms. The arcade is cute and has ice cream and the private beach was perfect!

We had a great stay. Loved our site - easy to back into and set up. Staff was helpful. Loved that all the amenities were up and running (our last visit was during Covid). Can't wait to come back!

We could not stay in our camper because the power box was not working properly. if we had our AC on it would pop your breaker. We were there for 3 nights, in the middle of a heat advisory. We were there with three other families all three were also having power issues. Three calls to the manger and they have not returned our calls. We stayed there twice last summer but I doubt we will be back.

The grounds are great. The beach is beautiful and the views from the restaurant/bar are wonderful. The sites are very cramped feeling with neighbors right on top of you. Most sites are also not level at all.

Can’t beat the beach access or the very convenient beach bar/grill. The actual RV spots are just staked out in a parking lot with no trees or privacy. All of the bathrooms were gross our out of order during our stay. People are eating/drinking in the pool and there are unsupervised kids all over the pool area. It’s like nobody is in charge

This is a return trip for us. We love being directly on the Bay with a pool option. Restaurant onsite is good. Love the upgrades on the patio sites. We travel with another family so it makes it super nice to be together. Bathrooms are ALWAYS clean!! Site could use a little extra care for grass and weed trimming. Would love to have ice available at the store. We will be back!

The only friendly staff we encountered was at the restaurant - Peanut (chef) and the bar staff were welcoming. The check in desk staff was uninterested in our presence and often let the phones go to voicemail. Also, we had a tow vehicle breakdown (the day prior to our paid reservation expiring) and the staff said we could pay them $75 to move it.

We had an amazing week at the campground. The facilities were clean, the hours are long, The Jackspot food was delicious, the staff is FANTASTIC, and the beach is perfect for my family and dogs. Shout out to the service staff for helping us with no hesitation to try to jump start our truck when the battery died. This is our favorite campground so far!

Sites are way to close. back to back pull threw sites are only a foot or two space. Poor in and out of campground. And sign layout.

Reserved a half shell spot but got placed in one reef site under a bunch of trees. Pine straw was falling over everything and there wasn’t much grass. The trees impeded most of the spot. The pool was absolutely the dirtiest pool I’ve ever seen at a koa. I’ve stayed at some at the beach before, so it wasn’t because of that. We didn’t use it because we were afraid of infection. We absolutely loved this campground. The bathroom/showers were always clean, the grounds were kept up nicely and the staff was outstanding. We had to leave early because of a family emergency, and the staff was understanding, empathetic and refunded the two nights we had booked. Loved the pool and beach so close to the campground and the tiki bar on premise was an added bonus. Highly recommend

We were with a large group and had plenty of space to socialize. We enjoyed the amenities, the views were magnificent and the staff was very friendly.

My family and I really liked it. The only things that we could knit pick about was the grounds crew mowing our site while we were there. We understand they have a job but I feel like it could wait until we left the site. The beach is nice, the bar/restaurant is fair priced for being at a resort campground. THE BIGGEST THING I JUDGE A CAMPGROUND FOR IS THE BATHROOMS AND I CAN SAY THEY WERE SPOTLESS

Disaspointed in upkeep this stay. Grass was high, a foot in some places. Trash cans on beach not emptied timely & slow pickup through RV area. Had golf cart or truck driving employees block entire road or restaurant walkway (didn't have to do this). A premium price is charged. Should be enough to keep place up nicely. Seemed to have plenty of employees, but lacked enthusiasm/customer service this

Absolutely wonderful stay! The campground is beautiful, check in staff was great, and the Sunset Beach bar service and food was TOP NOTCH!! Pool was super nice and clean, beach was absolutely beautiful. We're already recommended this place to family and hope to come back some day ourselves.

We stayed three nights and enjoyed all the facilities. Everything was great and I'm sure we will return. The staff was very pleasant even though we witnessed folks at the check in station giving them less than respectful conversation even though the staff was eager to respond positively and quickly address their concerns. Only detractor I have for the visit was the rental cost of golf carts.

Campsites were moved around and we were no longer across the street from relatives in cabins, unmowed campsite, tiny campsites, many rules and regulations with no one enforcing them....basic campground at resort prices.

For the price they need more amenities. Also, the smaller pool onsite was black therefore out of service in peak season leaving the main pool which is small, the bathroom toilets kept overflowing from clogs and the showers were not cleaned adequately removing hair/debris for drainage, the ice machine requires a drain eliminating the swamp area with mosquitoes at the rear of our site(401).

Finally, got the corner spot we have wanted for a few years which was great. Grass cutting and trimming as well as bathroom cleanliness were the only issues we experienced mainly due to how busy the site is. Overall the KOA is wonderful and had great experiences with all employees. Bring lots of bug spray and bug deterrents!

The biggest complaint was the fact that it was the middle of summer and they did not sell ice. We wasted more time every day going down the road to purchase ice. Very unacceptable. The staff was very polite and helpful. Much improvement from previous years. One day during out 6 day stay we tried the pool and it was disgustingly filthy. It was cloudy and lots of hair was found against the walls

While I like the location and amenities, this visit was somewhat short of being ideal. After checking and setting up on our site I noticed a large tree branch and a fence post with concrete still attached was at the back of our site and the grass was overgrown. The next morning I informed the front desk and was told that they would take of it. Two days later nothing had been done. Poor response..

Great campground only comment is re: the pool. My husband owns a pool company and was dissatisfied with the pools condition. There was algae on the pool walls and the water was cloudy for our entire stay...indicating the need for a LOT more chlorine for appropriate cleanliness/safety. Wasn't a deal breaker for us as we spent most our time in the Bay, the pool condition is important to families.

Everything was beautiful. Staff was very friendly and the entire campground was extremely clean. The only downside was the very small campsites. Campers are on top of each other! While this was the only issue, it would probably be enough to keep us from returning. Kudos to the staff for being on top of everything and best of luck to everyone that works here!! You have a great team!!

Greatly enjoyed new restaurant and weekend staff. Big improvement over last year. Beach was greatly improved over last year as well. Greatly enjoyed new security already as well over last few years.
