Our stay was subpar, at best. We didn’t know until we showed up that the pool wasn’t going to be open. On Memorial Day weekend. Then, there was no hammocks on the beach, and when it rained, our Skipjack site flooded within minutes of rainfall. The bathrooms weren’t even as clean as they had been the year before. The new management company needs to step up their game, ASAP.

Staff is the best part of this KOA. We had awful weather, but still had fun. Plan to return when the weather is warmer and dryer. Great community close by and tons to do within 1.5 hours.

I think the activities fee is a total rip off. $20 for what? Pool closed, we are too old to jump on pillow thing, dog didn't use dog park. Beach was on dirty side and grill not opened. Live and learn.

We stayed here several times and probably come back next year. What I don’t like is the $10 per day resort fee. No amenities were open and the Wi-Fi is spotting. Just roll that into the campsite rental charge.

Sites are close together. Dog park is huge. It needs to be divided up so little dogs have their own space.

We had a great site, which was a very close walk to the beach. Everyone we met was nice. Trash was picked up promptly every morning. The staff was great. We will definitely be coming back for another visit.

We are relatively new to camping (less than 2 years) and this was our favorite campground so far. We are planning to return soon.

We had a wonderful time with our family and friends. You let us place ourselves together by picking our sights. We had a blast!!!! Your campsite is perfectly spaced apart. We were there off season and had a great time. Grounds are well maintained and staff was very friendly. Restaurant was still closed (off season) but that was to be expected. The band on Saturday night was great!

Texts regarding activities (what, where, when) would be nice. Outer doors on restrooms near pool area need to be cleaned and or painted.

We camped near the fence line and saw a lot of poison ivy. I would hope next time that it will be gone, since my dog kept walking through it. Otherwise, great stay. Thanks

Sites are too cramped. Couldn't get anyone to answer the phone when I pulled in midday and the water spicket was broke. Had to pull out the tools and do it myself. Front Desk called me back the next day and sent someone out. Everything else was outstanding. Love the activities for the kids. Will definitely return.

I’ve enjoyed the improvements made over the past few years. I would like to suggest that the propane and conduit pipe be better covered where you can walk down to the beach near the bar area.

It was way better when it was Sunset Beach. Not as commercial. Beautiful site, very disorganized this trip. Pizza place got closed down. Neither owner has kept up with the hotel. It’s a great spot, been there several times, always dirty, dead bugs in the sinks. I really want to come back to the hotel, it’s so nice.

This is our second stay at the Cape Charles KOA and we enjoyed it. We were disappointed that the restaurant opening was delayed until Memorial weekend but we enjoyed paddle boarding and sitting on the beautiful beach.

We had a great stay and the staff was very friendly. The only issue we had was seeing the underaged children driving golf carts around . I think there needs to be tougher consequences on this matter. The beach was unkept, needed to be raked. This maybe was because the campground was not completely opened yet. Overall we would definitely go back!!!

the men's bathroom was very BAD!!! 2 toilets were broken and full of waste. For several days. Showers not clean, office help not knowing what they were doing. Order food to campsite and orders all wrong. Need to hire better caliber of people! Sorry to have to report this.

We are sorry about the miscommunication on the pool and Restaurant. The restaurant is a separate entity, however they are undergoing awesome renovations and will be open by Memorial Day weekend! The pool will also be open for Memorial Day Weekend.

Signage and roadway getting in and out was terrible. Stickers all over lawn. Still have them in mine and dogs feet. Bar and grill were closed at 7pm on Saturday night. Pool was closed. Clerk at check in ignored me and was not welcoming at all. I'd say you rate about $30 per night not $90. Oh and internet was unusable.

We were early in the season and missed the pool but it looks like it’s going to be great. The camp itself is set up nice. Customer service was great. Definitely see ourselves coming back here many more times!

we were disappointed the jackspot was not open, when your website states it is open. I called the front desk number several times to check before we left our home and no one would ever answer. When we pack our camper, we planned on having a meal at the restaurant so then we had to drive 10 miles to the closest grocery store. Also, we were hoping to have a late check out but again no one answered.

Too much to fit in this document, please call me for details. I was disappointed that we incurred a resort amenity fee both nights one week apart since virtually nothing was open(pool, Jack Spot) that we would use. Also charged a $25 fee for picking another site when it was suggested to us upon checkin in order to not be on the row with the dropping pine cones.

We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations. The amenity fee goes into more than just the pool. It also goes into dog park maintenance, the jump pad, playgrounds, the community fire pit, beach maintenance, as well as free activities & events. We hope that clears up confusion!

had the exact spot that we wanted and quick checkin with the nicest lady. Told her that we had sold our RV and made the buyer wait until after our trip. May get another but want to come back to our favorite campground. Possibly a cottage if not an RV. Love you all and wish Jack's Spot had been open but ate in Cape Charles and visited friends there. Hope to see you again in early FAll

Stayed three nights in the second week of May 2023. The Kamp was quiet, peaceful, and uncrowded. Bath houses were clean and fully supplied. Beachfront area was under renovation for Memorial Day weekend. Our stay was very enjoyable overall.

Very clean and well managed. Staff visible often in their carts to pick up trash and cleaning folks did an amazing job in the restrooms. Beautiful beach!!
