No soap, shampoo or conditioner in bathroom and water station at dog park didn’t work, very hot to have no water for dogs.

We had a wonderful time at the campground, and we have already scheduled our week for next year. The only concern we really had was the cleanliness of the pool. One member of our family got swimmer's ear after only 1 swim in the pool.

There were flies all over the cabin as soon as we walked in and the room was very hot throughout the stay. Coffee was left in the machine from prior guests and the shower was for accessible use only as well as the cabin which should have been saved for someone who really needed it.

Had a wonderful time. Our first time to stay at the campground and we were delighted. Our cabin was very clean. All staff were exceptionally helpful & friendly. Five children in our group! Very much appreciated the kids' activities & appreciated the man who swept the area at the showers & walkway to the beach! Glad for the oven (my daughter didn't have one.) Great band Fri! We all ate & danced!

Nice campground with very friendly staff. Cottage could be kept up a little better. Wasn’t cleaned that great, and was full of ants! Went to Dollar General and bought ant spray.

Very enjoyable — visited with my 3 grandchildren. My only complaints are the lack of reliable wi-fi for our devices and the televisions in the cabin did not work. We didn’t visit to watch tv, but it would have been nice if they had worked.

Brian, the lifeguard on the beach is great. Super helpful. He is actually why we came to this KOA in the first place. Met him years ago and he explain how great it is, so our family counties to come back 7 years in a row now.

Pool was very nice and next to the beach. I stayed in a safari tent which was very comfortable & much like a hotel room. The queen beds were very comfortable. It was hot the week I went, but there were two fans & a floor fan that helped at night. The only complaints I have were the amount of flies and no sink in the laundry for dishes. Would recommend investing in golf cart to get around.

Campground and facilities clean and enjoyable. We stayed in one of the cabins convenient to the pool and beach. Unfortunately directly across from the dumpsters through a very hot spell. But, they need to be somewhere!

The cabin needs to be cleaned better, there were spiders, stains on the walls and down the cabinets, broken blinds. The kitchen is not as equipped as I would of thought. The front porch had wads of dog hair. The deck outside is completely rotted and unsafe. For 300 a night i was not impressed.

I stayed in a cabin with my 4 kids, mom, and dog. I loved being able to walk to the pool, beach, and restaurant. My only complaints would be that it felt too crowded and the office hours don't allow for purchases of food/convenience items after 6pm.

We had a girl's trip for the weekend ... Everyone was so nice and helpful. Especially PJ, he went above and beyond to help. We had trouble with the heat top in the cabin and he came to our rescue. then he stayed and helped get our fire going good !! Thank you, PJ and all the people who take care of this beautiful campground. We will definitely be back xo

The staff were helpful. We had an issue with our fridge so they gave a mini fridge until it was fixed. The floor of the cabin however was filthy and needed to be mopped better. The pool is very nice and kid friendly. The beach is not as clean as pictured. It was dirty and had lots of vegetation growing. It also would have been nice to know that we only had a cooktop and no stove in the cabin.

We booked Cabin 154 for four days. The sofa had torn cushions, the AC was inadequate (only a box unit above the sink),TV remote did not work, and the coffee maker overflowed because the glass beaker was a mismatch for the grinds basket, The first stair step is too small and a trip hazard (almost fell twice). Otherwise facilities are okay.

The store hours should be longer and there needs to be a couple hooks in the bathroom in the cabins. Otherwise it was all delightful! Having a box fan was a great touch!

Overall well kept campground. Well manicured. Disappointed no patrols at night some of the golf cart folks were going crazy driving through puddles in the evening. Rented a cabin and it was nice. I know when it rains ants look for a dry place. With that being said they either need any traps or spray occasionally. A lot of ants in the sink area and we kept nothing out to attract them

First of all, I am requesting a partial refund. Our cabin was not ready at 4pm. Also, WE HAD A MAJOR ANT PROBLEM! The bar was not even open 2/3 days we were there...WHY?The resort and scenery are lovely, but obviously staffing must be a problem that spilled over into making our stay not 100% positive.

Beach is beautiful. Nothing else to do for kids. Other locations have tennis courts, Gaga pit. This campground did not. Also, cottage had a mildew smell.

It was a very relaxing time. The campsites are very nice. We loved the concrete slab. We really appreciated being able to take our dogs. The cabins was really nice and cleaned. We did kill a wood roach in our cabin. Didn’t see any after that one.

This was our first trip to the Cape Charles KOA. We had a great stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach and the pool. The beachside bar & grill was an added bonus. Our cabin was the cleanest we've stayed in. Your team obviously takes great pride in their work. We had a very relaxing getaway and we look forward to returning.

Everything was pretty run down with the cabins. No activities during the week for kids. No copy of paperwork you sign at check in. The store closed randomly (I’m assuming for inventory because of the sticky notes) without them telling anybody. There was no handicap accessible way to get to the beach even though there is handicap cabins.

We are sorry you did not have a great experience. The staff works really hard to maintain our cabins, keeping them clean and in good shape. Unfortunately, we must close the camp store for one day to do inventory. We post signs. Firewood and ice was still sold through the koa system.

Suggestion about cleaning the houses more thoroughly, my house was clean but there was a lot of dog hair in the corners, baseboards, inside the drawers. I had to get the broom and sweep it. At the beach it would be interesting to remove the seaweed from the sand to keep the beach cleaner and more beautiful.

Nice overall. We were disappointed in the lack of cleanliness when we arrived to our delux cabin. 30-40 pin bugs in shower stall and very dirty floors. Also a diaper left from a previous camper.

We had an AMAZING TIME!!! The cabins were super cute and roomier than they look from the outside!! The beach was beautiful, the Tiki Bar was gorgeous and fun, the staff was nothing but delightful!! Brian the Beach Guy was helpful and kept that place tidy!!! Check in and out was simple and efficient! We are definitely wanting to come back and stay again later this summer and making it an annual!!

We always love staying in "our" cabin on the bluff! Beautiful sunsets and views of the bay. Close to the water, the pool and the beach bar. Always love cruising around the premises on the golf cart and chatting with the other people there.

Robin the manager was extremely accommodating and helped us move cabins with no issues at all and offered us a golf cart as a thank you for understanding. The koa was clean and the staff was friendly. Definitely check out the pool! I would not recommend eating at the sunset grill the staff was very rude and overwhelmed we were left very disappointed and did not enjoy our meals.

The KOA conveniently located 1/2 mile before the Chesapeake bridge/tunnel. Nice place, maintained well .Check -in for our cabin was at a well stocked store .Everyone, especially Robin most friendly. The cabin was pretty. Screened in porch great Needed a kitchen towel and hand soap in the bathroom.Kudos to Rory and Sunset Beach Bar n Grill steps from the beach.Dog loved2 Cape Charles 15 min away.

Exceptional location , accomadiating staff ,beautiful shore front sunrises and sunsets,good food with average prices and a return customer for 10 yrs.Would love to do a once in a lifetime seasonal deal in 2026 but my situation will not allow.Anyone interested in seasonal should inquire.

Check in was super easy... love the escort. Love the beach, the sunsets, the restaurant, and most of all the staff. They are always waving and smiling at the campers. The grounds are manicured.
