We had a great time at the Cape Charles KOA. We do wish we had known about the restaurant and pool not being open before Memorial Day, but we had a fantastic time regardless. The cabin we stayed in was very clean and thoughtfully organized for a family with small children and all the staff we encountered were very friendly. We will definitely be coming back.

As we rented a cabin. The cabin was nice but without problems. The units need to be sprayed for ants . There was sheets over the windows in front of cabin.Water leak under kitchen sink.

We stayed in the Safari tents and enjoyed every minute of it! The linens were clean and fresh as were the towels. We were surprised that the tent also had a mini-fridge and small TV. Additionally, the bathhouse was a short jaunt away and one of the cleanest campground bathhouses I’ve seen.

We had the loveliest time. The campground is so clean and well managed and everyone we met was so friendly. It was a very nice stay and we will be coming back.

I recommend deleting tv’s from & provide microwaves in the safari tents. It was a great experience!

We had a great time “glamping” in the big fancy tents! It’s so nice to be able to get all the positive experiences of camping without the back pain of sleeping in a tent! Haha The facilities were all very clean and tidy and the sunsets were beautiful! We had a great stay!

Upon arrival our Cabin was very dirty. We rented 3 cabins and only 1 of the three were clean. The a/c did not work in one so we were moved to another dirty cabin. The pool was listed online as open, but it was not. After contacting the staff the cabins were cleaned and we were able to enjoy one day out on the beach. Upon arrival I felt I had to sign my life away to just get the keys to the cabin.

Love this place. Great views. Very nice cabins/tiny houses. Nice private beach.2 pools but not open yet. A few little things that made our stay less than perfect and that is why I rated 4 stars instead of 5. Would have liked to rate 4.5 stars. Didn't like: handicap cabin design didnt meet our needs. Extremely Limited utensils & cookware. Had to Pay resort fee but pool & restaurant not open.

I LOVED THE CABIN MY ISSUES WERE THE SHOWER CURTAIN WAS GROSS WE HAD IT CHANGED, THE COMFORTER ON THE QUEEN BED WAS DIRTY WITH HAIR AND LINT, THE OVEN HAD SOMETHING SPILLED ON THE DOOR I GUESS ON THE INSIDE. THE RV PROPANE GAS DETECTOR KEPT GOING OFF I HAD TO UNPLUG IT, NO ONE EVER CAME BACK TO FIX THE PROBLEM. NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE WHEN CALL MORNING OR NIGHT AND I LEFT 2 MESSAGES.

staff short and was not able to perform or assign cabin properly bathroom door lock was not working so very inconvenient and no one was able to fix on 2 day stay.

We had a great time. There were a few hiccups. The water was out for our part of the camp for a while, but they kept us posted on the fix and we got the water back that evening. In the meantime, we used the bath houses and they were very clean and well kept. The cabins could have been cleaner, but nothing terrible. Overall, we cannot wait to come back.

Me and my husband got away for the weekend. What a great place. The cabin was clean,the staff was super friendly and helpful. We will come back for sure! Wish we could have stayed longer.

The safari tent that I stayed in was pretty cool, but I didn't like how close they were to each other. The other campers were not respectful of the quiet hours and they were loud most nights until close to midnight. The bath houses were only cleaned one time (on Friday). The office staff were very friendly. That is the only positive thing I can really say. It wasn't enough to bring be back.

Need signage for KOA registration, outside. Very close campsites. Cabin was nice & clean. Staff seemed a little overwhelmed & disorganized at check-in but were friendly.

The cabin was beautiful but our stay was a little disappointing.It was advertised that there is a restaurant located right on the campground but it was closed.It was advertised that you can rent a golf cart, but none were ready to rent.It was advertised that you can do a late check out, but we were not permitted to do so.Also, 98% of the games in the arcade didn't work.Store/staff were nice.

The cook tops in the cabins are awful. We had no instructions and it kept cutting off making it very difficult to cook. It took 3 times as long to cook anything and we we had no outdoor grill. Also, the rooms were supposed to be 1 queen and 1 dbl with 2 bunks, it had 3 bunks no double. The website states there is a restaurant but it isn't even open, People need to know that for planning meals .
