Asked for a two bedroom handicap accessible cabin .Had a cabin with two bunk beds in the hall . Not feasible for two adults to sleep in . Sofa bed old , mattress was not good . The room with queen bed was against the wall . I’m 68 and I had to crawl to get into bed . I was told all accessible cabins are the same . Not handicap accessible ! Some 2 bedrooms need to be accessible . Campground nice

Candy at the check in desk was amazing to my husband and me. She helped us with our check in and golf cart rental, and she helped us with every other question we may have had. She always had a smile on her face and a positive, kind attitude. I 10/10 recommend this place, we loved the atmosphere of the place and how friendly the staff was, especially Candy.

The pool was wonderful. My dog loved the sandy paws beach. And we enjoyed dinner on site. We will be back.

Me gusto mucho la parte de las cabañas nuevas, pero no están limpiando, encontré todas las sábanas sucias y llenas de cabellos de otras personas, lo demás estuvo muy agradable

We came in late and didn't know where to go. The gentleman on the golf cart took me back to the front, showed me the checkin. He took us to our site and made sure we were set. In the morning another gentleman came by and took our trash beg. The helpulness and friendliness was a big impression. They both should be commended. Unfortunately, I don't remember their names. A shouout to them.

Was there for Labor Day weekend. Live music most days. Staff was friendly and helpful. Garbage at beach was kept cleaned up except for Monday. Overflowing out of cans & stinky. Should invest in a machine to clean seaweed/ grass off sand daily. We saw them in Key West and the beach looked nicer. Used laundry and everything worked fine.

Just say NO!! I stayed at the Cape Charles KOA under an initial reservation and then received a text from the General Manager to extend for 1/2 price any additional days. I jumped on the offer since I am a KOA Member. This KOA is a mess; broken window blinds in all rooms of the cabin, missing knob on stove (housing code violation!), dirty shower curtain, four+ hours to get toilet paper, etc.

The campground was fantastic. Plenty to do, gorgeous views. My only complaint was for our site, the hookups were not in a great spot. We had a pull-through, but the hookups were too far forward to where I had to block the road while setting up and leaving, then park behind. Also, I had to dig down a bit to get to it. Nothing major, so still 5 stars and would definitely come back!

I have been staying at KOA's since 2010. I always know what to expect when staying at any of them....clean, friendly and all the amenities I need. The staff has always been there to help with whatever I need. This last time at the Cape Charles KOA had everything I wanted and so many things for my 2 granddaughters to do. It was a great stay at the KOA!

Unfortunately Labor Day Sunday was the craziest we’ve ever seen. Besides all the campers there’s 100 boats and visitors packing the beach and Sunset Beach grill. Monday was wonderful once the crowds thinned out.

stayed in a "deluxe" cabin. The cabin smelled like damp mold,had to spray everything down with lysol. no sink drying rack, bed side lamp, or comforter. the air unit in the bunk bedroom did not have cool or cold air,it also had black "stuff" in the vents. dog bags were not filled by the beach path the entire stay. pool was green up until 8/31 for the holiday crowd.staff. staff not competent n lazy.

This is one of our very favorite campgrounds that we visit every year… the only issue we have is that they don’t sell bags of ice and the machines they have either don’t work or don’t give you the right amount of ice… This is soooonot a deal breaker but in this heat it would be nice to not have to leave the campground just to run up the road to get ice…

Our stay was terrific! The cabin was great- nice shower and rooms. Loved the screened in porch and the fire pit area with Adirondack chairs. Staff was helpful. Amazing view!

The cabin was not up to par. We paid more for closer access to pool the the cabin was below average. My daughter was in a less expensive cabin but was above average in condition. I dont feel $70. Was warranted based on condition of cabin and lot. Highly disappointed. My first experience cAmping.

I enjoyed my time. Cabins could be a little cleaner and the kids on golf carts could slow down but other than that I had a good time! Bar staff was very nice!

Had a very nice stay. My only suggestion eod be to ask staff to clean the bathrooms/showers just a little more often. Sunday evening and Monday morning they were pretty bad shape.

We reserved 2 RV sites and one cabin for a family vacation. The RV sites were nice but the cabin was not very clean. The floor was so dirty that our feet got black just from walking on it. The cabin also had ants. The description of the cabin said that linens were provided so none were packed. Several of the pillows did not have pillow cases on them. There were young kids driving golf carts.

Nice camp ground just it seems to be a party atmosphere. Campers all around you blasting there music F this, and F that. Then there's the golf cart parade flying around the park every night full of Partiers with their radios blasting, this is well and good if you're a partier. The park itself is very nice and the beach is extremely nice. The workers and staff were great, very ontop of things. �

Overall great stay. The live music, food options, and pool provided a memorable experience. There are discrepancies on the hours the welcome center/store are open.

Great stay and staff.!!! Arrival assistance with parking the rig the best after a long journey. Beautiful spot!! Restrooms clean especially considering all sand and traffic. No beach rentals due to lack of staff was our only negative. Lack of staff seems to be an issue everywhere. With a little love it could be even more incredible. But don't listen to the naysayers this KOA is great! Will return!

Great location, it is right on the beach! Our truck broke down and one of the staff members took us to the auto shop to pick up the part to fix the truck, very accommodating! We will definitely return!

Staff is very friendly. Great location. Liked the new cabins and site patios. Stayed at site 701, flooded during heavy rain need fill dirt. Beach maintenance needs to be a priority, lots of trash, broken beach equipment, food, dog poop everywhere. Under age kids racing around in golf carts. Exit barrier pole was broken. Security seemed very lacks then previous years. Overall decent KOA experience

I wish I had written down everyone’s names that made our stay great! We are already planning our next stay at Cape Charles. Our glamping tent was clean and spacious, bathrooms were clean. It was amazing to have two pools and playgrounds. The bay was perfect for kids. Amazingly friendly staff EVERYWHERE! Also nice to run into a pittsburgh native :) wish we could keep this place a secret!

Main pool on 8/29. Board hadn't had daily readings done since 8/27. Pool water wasn't pool and no choline smell. The area for ice cream and cabanas was closed. Next day pool was closed and sign said to use Hotel pool. Grass inside that fence area was over 5 inches tall and no umbrellas or lounge chairs. Pool deck disrepair. Amenities fee on top of site fee, not worth. Will not recommend.

I got charged $25 extra for site l already reserved. Answer is guaranteed reservation fee. That’s another way to ripped customers off. They need treatment on sites because so much bugs and flies.

We really like this campground. Best of both worlds with Bay beach access and a pool. We stayed in a pull thru patio site and there was plenty of room for tow vehicle behind the 5th wheel

Our second stay so we were prepared for the uneven sites. The staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. There was an issue with our sewer hook up which the maintenance staff fixed right away. Nice beach with beautiful views. Dog friendly campground and beach.
