Loved our stay just wished they would clean the beach area. People do not dispose of there trash as they should but someone needs to clean up each day or so. There was a bunch of dead fish as well and the beach area stunk very badly and had unnecessary amount of flies due to garbage.

From the booking of reservations, to the front desk receptionists, to the cabin, to the beach, pool and TiKi Bars, the entire stay was delightful. I was so pleasantly surprised as a first time guest. Cape Charles KOA is a lovely little piece of heaven on earth. Thank you to all those who daily endeavor at this KOA Resort to inspire its guests through pure fun, entertainment, & safety to relax!

The camp ground and beach were nice. Camp sites were very level and hook up was easy. Beach was not crowed at all this time of year. But the flies and nats were terrible.

What a beautiful property and its so well taken care of. We really appreciate the small decisions made that helped make this trip perfect (like grass instead of rocks or sand for our tent!). We love the peaceful location and the facilities were so comfortable and clean. We will be back!!

Our cabin was filthy. The tiny coffee maker had coffee grounds left in it. The front door locks didn’t function. Dead bolt if used did not work, you’d get locked in or out. Door knob didn’t work properly. Fans filthy. Knob on stove had note broken. Very disappointed for the price. Don’t know if we’ll be back next year.

ALWAYS a perfect time spent at MY HAPPY PLACE! And NOW we are able to watch any storms past while hanging at the outside bar with Mary and Jen!! Great bartenders, great people, great food and AMAZING atmosphere. Our dogs LOVE IT too!

Cabin was filthy. Wet towels and sheets left from previous. Beds had dirt on sheets. Ac didn’t work work. Screen porch door broke and screen tore at bottom so couldn’t have dog with us.

It was not a good experience, the property is great but the management is not. I emailed all the details since they won't fit here. I went to the office and called and was told the GM would call me, he never did.

So our truck died as soon as we got there. The resort was beautiful as usual, but the staff was incredibly kind in helping us get a game plan to get the truck fixed and the camper into a temporary spot until we can pick it up! Been coming here since 2018 and will continue to!

The bad thing about sight 401 was the uneven ruts when getting out of the Camper.

Au-delà de nos attentes, surtout la plage à proximité à tout point de vue. Seul bémol, lors de notre séjour il y avait beaucoup trop de chiens et certains aboyaient très tôt le matin.

The place was beautiful but the Master bedroom has ants all over by the bed, closest to the window. The A/C unit in the main area does not work correctly nor does the TV. We did not have a good time in the cabin (Site 212).

Asked for a two bedroom handicap accessible cabin .Had a cabin with two bunk beds in the hall . Not feasible for two adults to sleep in . Sofa bed old , mattress was not good . The room with queen bed was against the wall . I’m 68 and I had to crawl to get into bed . I was told all accessible cabins are the same . Not handicap accessible ! Some 2 bedrooms need to be accessible . Campground nice

Candy at the check in desk was amazing to my husband and me. She helped us with our check in and golf cart rental, and she helped us with every other question we may have had. She always had a smile on her face and a positive, kind attitude. I 10/10 recommend this place, we loved the atmosphere of the place and how friendly the staff was, especially Candy.

We came in late and didn't know where to go. The gentleman on the golf cart took me back to the front, showed me the checkin. He took us to our site and made sure we were set. In the morning another gentleman came by and took our trash beg. The helpulness and friendliness was a big impression. They both should be commended. Unfortunately, I don't remember their names. A shouout to them.

Was there for Labor Day weekend. Live music most days. Staff was friendly and helpful. Garbage at beach was kept cleaned up except for Monday. Overflowing out of cans & stinky. Should invest in a machine to clean seaweed/ grass off sand daily. We saw them in Key West and the beach looked nicer. Used laundry and everything worked fine.

Just say NO!! I stayed at the Cape Charles KOA under an initial reservation and then received a text from the General Manager to extend for 1/2 price any additional days. I jumped on the offer since I am a KOA Member. This KOA is a mess; broken window blinds in all rooms of the cabin, missing knob on stove (housing code violation!), dirty shower curtain, four+ hours to get toilet paper, etc.

The campground was fantastic. Plenty to do, gorgeous views. My only complaint was for our site, the hookups were not in a great spot. We had a pull-through, but the hookups were too far forward to where I had to block the road while setting up and leaving, then park behind. Also, I had to dig down a bit to get to it. Nothing major, so still 5 stars and would definitely come back!

I have been staying at KOA's since 2010. I always know what to expect when staying at any of them....clean, friendly and all the amenities I need. The staff has always been there to help with whatever I need. This last time at the Cape Charles KOA had everything I wanted and so many things for my 2 granddaughters to do. It was a great stay at the KOA!

Unfortunately Labor Day Sunday was the craziest we’ve ever seen. Besides all the campers there’s 100 boats and visitors packing the beach and Sunset Beach grill. Monday was wonderful once the crowds thinned out.

stayed in a "deluxe" cabin. The cabin smelled like damp mold,had to spray everything down with lysol. no sink drying rack, bed side lamp, or comforter. the air unit in the bunk bedroom did not have cool or cold air,it also had black "stuff" in the vents. dog bags were not filled by the beach path the entire stay. pool was green up until 8/31 for the holiday crowd.staff. staff not competent n lazy.

This is one of our very favorite campgrounds that we visit every year… the only issue we have is that they don’t sell bags of ice and the machines they have either don’t work or don’t give you the right amount of ice… This is soooonot a deal breaker but in this heat it would be nice to not have to leave the campground just to run up the road to get ice…

Our stay was terrific! The cabin was great- nice shower and rooms. Loved the screened in porch and the fire pit area with Adirondack chairs. Staff was helpful. Amazing view!

The cabin was not up to par. We paid more for closer access to pool the the cabin was below average. My daughter was in a less expensive cabin but was above average in condition. I dont feel $70. Was warranted based on condition of cabin and lot. Highly disappointed. My first experience cAmping.

I enjoyed my time. Cabins could be a little cleaner and the kids on golf carts could slow down but other than that I had a good time! Bar staff was very nice!
