I had a fantastic stay as always and have already booked for next season, my only knock has to be the condition of the men’s restroom by the pool during the entire day on 7/21. Two of the three stalls were completely unusable in the morning, when I went in again in the evening after a nice dinner, it looked as if they hadn’t been addressed all day The rest of the week everything was perfect T

Campground was excellent. , stayed in lodging #202 . Nice cottage , issue with the beautiful shower tho, after 3 of us showered, water came up on the outside of the shower around shower leaving floor flooded . The mattress on the sofa bed is a box spring type .. you can see and feel the coils and springs making it impossible to lay on let alone sleep . Need a suitable mattress for sofa bed .

We LOVE Cape Charles KOA! ALL of the staff is amazing! Our "cottage" was wrecked by the prior occupants, so our check-in was delayed, but the staff did a GREAT job cleaning it. Brian, who monitored the beach, was absolutely fabulous at keeping an eye on things. We watched him handle an extremely difficult camper with great tact! Once again, we've booked for next year!

Stay was awesome, some of the cabanas were missing their covers. The laundry room was really disgusting, when opening the doors on the washer there was grime and mold. Those are two things I believe should be addressed.

This was our very first KOA experience and we LOVED IT!! The staff treated us like royalty, helping us whenever we asked and we had A LOT of questions. We rented golf carts and buzzed around the resort and had an amazing time! The beach..the beach is AMAZING!! We WILL be back!

The campground spaces were too close together for my tastes. I rented a cabin that didnt seem to have a designated parking space. The RV space next to us was too close for us to be able to enjoy a camp fire at night.

We stayed in one of beach front cabins and absolutely love the convenience of it. But the cabin wasn’t clean enough, the kitchen supplies needs to be upgraded for sure, tons of ants and flies where in a cabin when we just arrived , and the most disturbing was the smell that was coming out of bathroom.otherwise the grounds of camp were extremely clean, the beach was peaceful for sure.

It is a really area with the beach and the layout. We stayed in one of the cabins and it was really destroyed and not worth the $2,000 we payed for it. The bathroom door didn’t look, our screen door was broken letting in all the bugs, the blinds were broken, there was barely a utensils in the drawers. The pots and pans were scratched and the whole house was dirty. We will not be returning again.

Absolutely need an adult pool. Store too far away. Beach beautiful. Pool needs some TLC. We had a handicap person with us who was unable to access the beach. Need handicap access. Patio sites large!!

Loved our cabin and nice to have restaurant/ bar there. We had an issue with AC and someone showed up within 5 minutes to fix.....impressive! Enjoyed the beach and pool..nice to have both. The only complaint I had and I told the checkout person when checking out was that shower curtain smelled like urine. The living room furniture seemed cheap and had some damage. Other than that I would def

What an outstanding camping experience. We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days on a corner lot and very walkable to the bay. The waves were very calm and my son was able to use a paddle boat. Although it was very hot and steamy, the lot was almost leveled, and we no issues with power, water, or sewer. AS always, the neighbors were very friendly and our surroundings were calm and quiet. Thanks.

Stayed 3 nites in a deluxe cab. Cabin was very nice and well stocked. Bed was made when we checked. On the downside pool area had many canopy frames with no covering for shade.

Lots of things to do! Very nice customer service at the front desk every time we visited whether for a purchase or inquiry. We reserved again for next year! Could not give a level five rating due to the amount of youth allowed to drive golf carts in the park and erratically. In addition, the two staff who were old enough but yet were continuously also erratic and unsafe drivers numerous times.

I’ve stayed at KOA’s from the east coast to the west coast and this is a very nice KOA. Very nice shower rooms. The Sunset Bar & Grill adds a very nice “island” touch. Great pool!

What a wonderful short weekend trip! The Bay, the beach, the pool, Historic Cape Charles, Sunset Bar & Grille … came home feeling both refreshed and relaxed!

We absolutely love that there is a beach where our dog is welcome. The spaces are not the largest and there are few trees. The major negative is that the bathrooms were barely cleaned the five days we were there. The first three days I was there, the bathroom I used was not cleaned at all. The same clump of hair was in the same shower stall for several days. Sinks not cleaned either.

Loved the location, The beach was beautiful and access was perfect. Pool was nice & clean. There is a terrible Ant infestation throughout the campground, our cabin has a broken pocket door that was worked on previously it would seem. We went through 3 grills before one finally worked, with one bursting into flames from being so filthy with grease. Staff was nice and did their best to accommodate.

The beach was very nice and fun. The size of the lot was close encounter of the 3rd kind. I could hear was the people in the tent next to me were doing. The bathrooms were ok. So the toilet wouldn't flush unless you figured out that you have to LIFt the handle after flushing or it would stay in the toilet bowl. Everything I came in every toilet was full. They were not cleaned up daily. Impersona

Our stay was great. First timer and it's a beautiful facility. All the staff was very nice and went out of their way to help. The grounds are clean. The bathrooms are very clean. Sunset beach is amazing along with Sunset grill. We stayed in one of the tents and that was great too. We will be coming back!

The beach and low tide sand bars really make this place great! Brian the beach guy was amazing and really knows the history of the campground. This is our third time there and we will definitely return again.

We had a great stay. The grandkids loved the activities. The activities directors were great with the kids. My daughter and her kids saw dolphins in the Bay.The pizza and food from the Sunset Beach Bar and Grill was good.

Neighbors were very loud even after quiet hours, we tried to call security but due to no service on phones and when we did get service we never got ahold of anyone. They kept walking through our campsite, setting stuff on our table, yelling, cussing, loud music till 2:00 am the first night, the second night until about 1:00am. Overall the campground was great and we would love to come back.

The stay was wonderful, however, When I made my reservation I asked to be near my friends but we were all over the place. 2 were close but myself and one other were somewhat a distance away. This is the only gripe I had with my stay. Enjoyed it otherwise.

The campground has friendly staff and a few amenities that are very nice. We stayed in a cabin which offered our family plenty of space. It was well stocked with supplies. The cabin did have a lot of flies and ants and they provided us with fly trap and any traps. The fly trap didn’t catch one fly. I wish we had a fly swatter. The bunk room had no fan or ac unit and didn’t have blinds on one w

We went on Motown weekend. Did not hear any Motown music. The beach needs to be cleaned of all the weeds and brush growing in the sand. We have been coming for years but was a little disappointed this time. However, Tim and Tito went above and beyond to help.

As always ... All that you could ever want or need in a campground. . . Looking forward to coming back on my return trip this year. Exceptional location , accomadiating staff ,beautiful shore front sunrises and sunsets,good food with average prices and a return customer for 10 yrs.Would love to do a once in a lifetime seasonal deal in 2026 but my situation will not allow.Anyone interested in seasonal should inquire.

Check in was super easy... love the escort. Love the beach, the sunsets, the restaurant, and most of all the staff. They are always waving and smiling at the campers. The grounds are manicured.
