The sites are way too close together. And if you offer beach swimming you should provide handicap access. I had my elderly mother with. She couldn’t do anything.

We had a great vacation. I love having the pool and beach area next to each other. The food at the Jack Spot was delicious also. The sites were pretty good. They were big enough to accommodate our 40ft toy hauler. I will be going back to this campground again,

Staff was wonderful. Still very, very disappointed with the cafe down by the beach. Fried food? What happen to the Jackspot from a couple years ago that offered sandwich and amazing food?? The beach is such an asset to this campground, but a decent cafe would be exceptional!

The campsite was great. Sunset bay was also very nice. Things that went wrong were sewer connection was damaged. I reported it at 3pm first day, had to call again the next day. It was never reported. I was full and couldn’t dump till it was fixed. Equipment rental at the beach was limited and recommend buying more. Don’t offer all day rental. Consider 1-2hr max so others can enjoy.

Love the location & private beach at this campground and staff is friendly. But this time in our visit it did not seem like the campground was ready for the season. The hammocks were not up, the pool cabana and umbrella were barely set up, part of the deck in front of the bar was roped off, garage cans were fill to the brim & the floor to the fitness center looks like it hasn't been swept in wee

The campground is nice. The bath house is not the cleanest I’ve seen. The floors were flooded at times. The men’s bathroom was so bad my husband wouldn’t shower in there. We camped as a family. 2 sites and 2 hotel rooms. My sister in law was almost 4 hrs into her trip when they called her to cancel her reservation. They were over booked. They were not very helpful with other accommodations e

We have stayed at Cape Charles KOA for the last three years and everytime we stay here there is an issue with the pools. The last two years that we have camped here the hotel pool has been closed. This causes the campground pool to be extremely crowded with the hotel guest and campground guest all trying to use one pool. The pool this time was closed several times and was not very clean to begin

1. 4 adults 3 children, 33ft motor home and one cabin, 2. MH was closest to pool and beach and laundry 3. Cabin was close to office/mini market/arcade room for kids 4. Beach bar and grill was great menu and food and drink, and over looked white clean sandy beach with beach rentals and a safe beach for kids. 5. Is the number of Stars we give it, highly recommend.

Cabin was clean and well taken care of. The beach was dirty with trash outside the trash cans. Pool was closed. Dead fish smell at the fish cleaning station was disgusting. Cafe in the check-in building was closed in the morning. Screen door on the cabin was broken. It’s too bad the campground isn’t properly being taken care of.

I have been staying at the campground since they opened and love the location and the staff. If i was to say some constructive criticism i would suggest they put blinds on the cottage I was staying at instead of bed sheets, although i did not mind seeing i was fishing locally but i could see other people not liking that especially at the price they are paying to stay there.

We love this campground! It’s super clean and beautiful. The cabins are spacious. The atmosphere is light. It promotes a sense of community amongst strangers. Local law enforcement tends to drive through around dusk/night which amplifies the feeling of safety. The staff goes out of their way to be hospitable. There’s nothing like campground life, and Cape Charles is extra special.

Stayed a week at the KOA. We had two camper lots and a safari tent. The campground was very clean, a little inconvenient to have the bathhouse cleaned between 8 - 8:30 every morning, everyone was friendly and helpful. Big shout out to Mr. Skip for the help given in fixing my camper. Will definitely come back and recommend.

We enjoyed our stay the pull thru site was perfect. The great thing about the campground was we didn’t have to unhook our car there was an on-site Sunset Bar & Grill and the staff was very friendly and fast service. Thank you.

This campground is a gem. We stayed here for our first time. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The checkin was fast. We were escorted to our site by helpful and happy staff. They helped us back into our site. Campground was clean, Beach access is great. Our dog was welcomed everywhere we went. Also the best bonus of all was trash pickup. Thank you so much.

Dave is a wonderful manager. The lady at the front desk whose husband works on the cabins, was a straight up Karen but Dave and everyone else was wonderful. Definitely would come back just will never want to deal with her again.

We had never been to Cape Charles before, and we sure are happy we went. Lovely campground and lots of amenities. You wouldn’t even need to leave the campground if you didn’t want to. The beach is right there with a bar and grill, paddle boarding, kayaks and beautiful sunsets. Will definitely be back.

Everything was fine except the men's rest room was not cleaned at all for 3 days .I know this for a fact because some one made a nasty mess on a toilet and was still there 3 days later

The men's bathroom by the water treatment area was not cleaned from Saturday morning to Monday morning even after calling and leaving a voicemails on the number posted and telling staff in person. There was literally fecal matter sprayed in the handicap stall.

Our tiny house was clean and well stocked. The check-in was smooth and the store was also clean and well stocked. We were disappointed the hammocks were no longer on the pavillion. Also no chairs/umbrellas for rent on the beach. Definitely will be coming back!

We had more space between RV's than in many other KOA's, and the employees were extremely friendly and helpful. The beach was very nice and clean and the food and drink at the Sunset Grille was tasty. Planting the trees is a fabulous idea and we look forward to their shade. Having the grocery/beach/camp store open 24/7 was very handy and appreciated. We will definitely be back for a return stay.

Very happy with my stay. Friendly staff very attentive. Plenty of space on my site which is a plus in my book. I do not like being on top of each other. The amenities were excellent.

We got to use the brand-new cabin. It was very neat and clean. The water heater wasn't turn ON so it took about 2 hours to get a warm water at the first time. I was able to charge my tesla car with the provided pedestal. Swimming pool was great. Liked the people and like the site. This was our second visit in last 10 months to this site. Looking forward to come back . Happy summer.

We were quite disappointed that the pool was not open until the last day of our stay and was still too cold to use at that time. The camp store had less food available compared to many I have seen. Overall I do not have much bad to say, however, we were somewhat underwhelmed and it was less than we expected. Overall the beach was nice and we did certainly enjoy the sunsets on the beach.

We love it here!! The employees were super nice! The site, bath house & cabin were super clean! They should have send an email about the pool being closed due to mechanical issues and the ice machines were a waste of $. Regardless of those 2 minor issues it was a fantastic visit!

Worst KOA I have ever stayed at. Check in slow, bathhouse went without being clean from Friday until I left on Sunday. Fire pit had 3 inches water in the bottom. I called about the bathhouse twice and fire pit once, forced leave message all went without response. Awful place to stay at a beautiful location. Sell to someone with management and customer service skills

We always have a great time and we stay at this KOA wishing the pool was completed and able to use while we were there that week in June, my husband had knee surgery done, and we were hoping to relax by the pool since it is difficult to get down into the sand and back up again from the BG area I understand you can rent and bringing your own golf cart. But lots of under age kids driving,

Our favorite KOA!! The pool was closed due to unforeseen issues but they gave us a great deal on a golf cart which made up for it!!! the new ice machines are not worth the $4 per bag. All the KOA workers were super nice!!!! The sites were very clean and the bath houses were stocked and very clean!!

Bathrooms were clean, staff was helpful and friendly. The $10 daily amenities charge wasn't supported with activities or use of the pool as it was still closed the 1st full week of June.

We really liked the campground but that is about it . I will start with the staff that was very unfriendly. Then I will move to the campsite that had dog poo on it . Then I will move to the fact that we paid extra for a site next to the pool that was CLOSED that we never were notified of and we’re not compensated for . We will not stay here again .
