Employees friendly and professional. In-water Pool tile filthy & Pool water cloudy, dirty. Charged $ for having own golfcart. Charged $ for resort fee, this koa did not reflect "resort".

Friendly staff, squeaky clean and well-appointed shower and bathroom facilities. Reasonable prices at the very nice on site store. Badge swipe gate access felt reasonably secure.

Overall fun trip. Site was great vicinity to the pool and beach. Site was not mowed for a bit of time which was not nice. For the price is could of been nicer for sure. Pool hours were ridiculous, especially when a lifeguard is not on duty. It should be open to at least 10pm for us people who like to night swim. It even had colorful lights on at night which made no sense when you can't usei

Grounds were fun but the cabin was filthy and it didn’t seem like management cared too much We couldn’t even stay the rest of the trip. Sheets had blood stains and covered in hair. Random sock by couch. Sticky koolaid on table. Floor was thick with grime. Just completely nasty

Pros: Good location, nice rest rooms. Cons: We booked our site months ahead & we include the site # that we want bec we’re camping with group of friends. One day before the camping, our friend who stayed ahead of us informed us that there are campers occupying our site. I called the CS and she informed us that we should pay $25 as lock in fee. We were never inform about this ��. Disappointed!

Only 2 thing One entry spot with rv are not indicate from the road (with late arrival we follow gps and we pass by the sort entry with rv) Second we have a dead zone wifi around site 515 The rest was perfect

Nice time, beautiful place, very relaxing! Our dog loved the golf cart best way to get around at the campground! Will be back next year!

KOA should be top of the line. This one is good, the location makes up for a lot of shortcomings, but the top level vibe was missing. The bathhouse near the pool was constantly of out toilet paper and paper towels. The WiFi was terrible. Most campgrounds have upgraded at this point. KOA should be the best. Just not what we’ve come to expect.

Our stay was amazing. It was one of the best beach days I've had since I've moved to Virginia. The water hammocks were awesome my 8 yr old daughter had the time of her life on them. Just left yesterday and have already booked a return trip.

We loved our stay! The only feedback I would give is the WIFI did not work at our campsite and the bathrooms by the pool could have been cleaned once a day in the middle of the day.

A great place for families with young kids. Staff is super friendly. My only comment is the older cabins are not fully stocked with kitchen utensils.

We have been before and really enjoyed staying in the cabins but I will not stay in a cabin that does not have an oven because I like to make casserole at home before so I don’t have to cook/prepare a lot of things while on vacation.

Probably the best KOA we've ever stayed at! Had an issue with the 50 amp breaker but Tim was out before we were set up to replace it. The only issue is the pool closing so early.

We stayed in a cabin for the past 2 summers . Good points given for the location to the pool/beach, shower, A/C , screened porch, outdoor gas grill and firepit. The kitchen should be better stocked with pots and cooking utensils. Cleanliness was adequate. A plus would be for Senior Adults to be given a discount on the Golf Cart rentals. It is way, way overpriced for us. Thank you

Nothing special as a resort. Good stop over spot while traveling. Grounds are not kept up. Grass is shaggy in many areas. Litter is noticed in many places for multiple days. Bathroom at the pool was not cleaned often. The same debris was on the floor from Saturday night thru Thursday. TP was out in all three stalls on the Friday we arrived. Nice view of the bay and good bar atmosphere.

We love this property and have come back 5 years in a row. The pool, bathhouses, and public areas are clean and well kept. We noticed that the floor on our cabin was dirty and our oven didn’t work but we worked around those things and had a wonderful time! We will be back again next year!

Not enough for our kids to keep occupied no breakfast options at the grill or happy jacks cafe. Arcade closed early and was very far from any tourist attractions, food, grocery’s etc. playground was very out dated

Spent an enjoyable week there mid-July. The only negatives were related to other campers behaving poorly. Younger kids (8 - 14 or 15) riding / speeding through the campground and campsites on electric scooters, bikes and golf carts. It was ridiculous and dangerous especially since the majority didn't wear helmets on the scooters and bikes. Some of them and the golf carts were going 30 - 35 mph!

Bathhouse was clean. We appreciated the KOA staff member leading us to the site and helping us park. The pool was very crowded and the water a bit cloudy. We loved having a dog designated beach area, but were saddened by the trash on the beach.

Had a problem at the store not being able to exchange a purchase! I was told the system would not allow it which is nottt right at all!! Asked if you had magnets the lady told me no but I looked on my own and found them she said oh I thought we sold out.���

The location is ideal with pool and beach access. We learned quickly that renting a golf cart would be helpful for our small child. Beautiful sunsets and comfortable cabins. Provided “cable” TV is almost like watching TV with antenna and WiFi is weak signal. Otherwise great location.

We've been camping at Cape Charles KOA for the last several years, but recently sold our camper and booked a cabin. This is a very clean and well-maintained campground with numerous activities available, including a beach and a pool. The cabin was very comfortable and included a shower, TV, and a full-size refrigerator, along with all the linens and towels. We plan to go again!

The cabin was clean, I suggest bring food for you cook for your entire stay as there’s not much restaurant to choose from, plus they’re pricey. The pool is decent size for kids, not deep enough for adult swimmers. I wish there’s a safer access to the beach. It was a steep access to the beach, me and my mom has arthritis and it was a struggle going down to the beach and going back to the cabi

Bathhouses are disgust, really dirty showers, feces on floor and toilet. I have been camping at KOA at Cape Charles for many years and have never seen it so downgraded. No more trash pick up at camp sites. Beach access rubber mat is not all the way to the road. Only 1 trash can at the beach. Jackspot was nice. People at the shop area were nice. Lady at the ice cream shop was amazing and patient.

Sites are pretty basic and you are a little tight, however the beach and pool were terrific. Brian? I think that was his name on the beach is extremely knowledgeable about the water and the campground. Its very clear he truly loves and respects that beach. There is not much to do in the area but my family had a great time, so much so we already rebooked for next year.

We had a blast during our stay at Cape Charles! We loved the beach and the food from the bar/grille was delicious! The laundry building and pool area could have used some attention but overall we were happy with our experience!

One of the best campgrounds we've stayed at! Helpful front desk. Good camp store. Clean. Nice bounce pad and playgrounds. Cute cabins. Great music at the beach bar, And Rory the bartender at and the beach restaurant was great! Yummy fresh orange crushes! Brian is the guy who rents kayaks, SUP and other large floats at the beach, nice and helpful. Very relaxing floating in the Bay & nice pool!

Exceptional location , accomadiating staff ,beautiful shore front sunrises and sunsets,good food with average prices and a return customer for 10 yrs.Would love to do a once in a lifetime seasonal deal in 2026 but my situation will not allow.Anyone interested in seasonal should inquire.

Check in was super easy... love the escort. Love the beach, the sunsets, the restaurant, and most of all the staff. They are always waving and smiling at the campers. The grounds are manicured.
