Enjoyed our stay very much! Super kid friendly, peaceful! They even helped us find our spot and helped my husband back up to make sure we were good in our spot! :) definitely would stay here again!

We had a great time staying here. We felt like family. Miss Lyndsey was always so friendly. The fireworks to celebrate the 4th of July was amazing. Frankie and Rocky and Mr James the maintenance were always so friendly saying good morning waving at all my family anytime they saw us. We do lose power for a bit because of a storm but it was fine we used our generator. Rocky gave us waffle maker.

Hosts were very friendly. We were guided to our site. Gravel but level. Beautiful park. They have a well stocked store. A common room with couches and a TV. There is a lot to do for kids and adults.

I was more than happy with our stay. Everyone including guests were friendly and more than helpful. Our first experience was fantastic, the whole family loved it. This is going to become a hobby of ours now and I hope that every stay at any KOA is just as nice.

Good level spot, although gravel and dirt. Bathrooms excellent, very clean, nice showers . Good small dog park.

It was a single night stay en route om a three week trip. Very friendly staff. Guided to our site. Basic 50 amp FHU. A little road noise from closeby I-40, but didn't bother our sleep. We would stay here again and take advantage of more amenities.

We originally booked a spot in shawnee OK that was a complete dump so we decided to leave that spot and found this KOA in Checotah and it was beautiful and well taken care of super clean loved the fact it had laundry and the petting zoo.

This is a wonderful campground with helpful friendly staff. Everything is well maintained and clean. Showers have plenty of hot water. The sites have lots of full grown trees with shade. There is a short walking trail to the lake. all and all one of the best experiences ever, Ken H.

The camp was very clean, quiet & in a perfect location. It had all the amenities we needed & we felt very safe staying here.

Very nice park. We were in space 63 near the trail entrance to the l as she. Nice shade trees helped keep it comfortable. Nice cement patio with table, chairs, BBQ, and fire pit. Pool was nice and clean. The park hosts were extremely pleasant and helpful.

Not the newest or the biggest, but could be the friendliest one yet. Clean and quiet. Host was very helpful.

Lots of activities for the whole weekend. Staff very friendly and checked in with us sporadically to ensure we had everything we needed. One member even helped my daughter look for pine cones for a project. Have stayed here several times and will continue to return. Need to upgrade internet access and possibly a shade cover over a part of the pool would top it off!!

We had the most amazing time at this KOA. Rocky and the entire crew were not only helpful but kind courteous and went out of their way to make sure that our stay was good as it could be. The lake is phenomenal for kids to play on as is the playground, there was ample shade and a fully stocked store. Oh yeah, the bathrooms were pristine as well 10 out of 10.

This Was Our 3rd Year In A Row Visiting For The 4th.we Love This Place!!! The Manager And Staff Are The Best!!! They Take Real Good Care Of Us All. My 5 Grandkids are Always Excited About Returning Every Year.

We stopped here for a few days on our way to and through Texas. Well-run facility with some longer-stay RVers. This property has a pool - it is an older facility but seemed well-maintained. The pool is concrete but was clean and cool! The laundry facilities were 50% out of order, but I noted a new washer in the box being delivered the day we left. I will say the road leading into the facility was really rough, but again, we saw a municipal road crew re-paving the county road on our way out - evidences of the property attention and upkeep. About a 15 minute drive to the state park where we were able to kayak and hike. Biking and boating in the state park there as well as a marina where we had lunch on the lake. This campground is in a rural spot, but convenient to I-40 and lots of RVers coming in for a night or two then getting on the road. Small walking trail to the lake where you could sit and/or fish. Long walk for a kayak launch (for us). The staff were great and really friendly - helped us identify the state bird too :-). Would recommend as a good layover stop. We noted they have a few cabins on site for rent too.

Very cute campground, well maintained and clean. Little noisy being right off the 40 but it's tucked back and feels safe. (The road in is a little rough - go slow) The real highlight though is the staff. I had a major breakage on my trailer and the staff were super accommodating and empathetic in getting me extra time in my campsite to figure things out.

Nice little rv park. It has a trail down to the lake which was a nice walk. Easy on and off to I-40.
