We booked a site plus a cabin, we got the cabin for our daughter and she is handicapped we were told it was a handicap cabin , we had to carry her wheel chair and her up and down the steps also she could not even fit in the bathroom with the chair and the cabin was was bad with bugs , the koa it self was nice and the staff was really friendly and the gifts in the cabin was awesome !

Beautiful quiet park with lots of shade. We were in town to visit family and needed a place to stay and this was perfect.

Campsites were fine but we could not get into the men’s or women’s shower house. The code thing was either wrong or broken. The water pressure in the morning was very low and barely enough to take a shower. Need more water pressure at the rv sites.

Terrible, debris scattered all over pictures and descriptions very misleading, the lakeside isn’t somewhere you’d want to hang out at, a lot of sites don’t have proper drainage and where flooded very buggy trees and landscaping overgrown

The staff were great. The campground is clean but old and dated. Horrible highway and train noise. Sewer hookups on about 1/2 the sites is not adequate by a long shot. Not one I will stay at again. But, if you don’t mind the noise and have a locking sewer connection it’s a good place to stay.

1 star for the nice people. 1 star for the proximity to highway. Deductions for well water with high sulfur content that is undrinkable even when Brita filtering. Very low water pressure. Friday night and garbage bins overflowing. Big rigs beware of low hanging trees on roadway to entrance. Fix potholes!

As long as the traveler understands this is an older KOA they will enjoy the stay. Site was level and fairly well spaced. Interior roads had a few rough spots but if you can drive half-way proficiently you will by fine. I navigated the roads in a 43' MH towing a Buick so it can be done. The park actually reminded me of what state parks were like years ago before the overcrowding. Loved the camp.

We arrived after hours. Road leading from interstate to KOA entrance is fairly rough and has several low hanging branches above road that you can’t avoid and drag across RV roof as you pass under. Because of this alone I’d not stay here again. It was raining and portions of the roads were somewhat muddy. We were concerned we would get stuck on a few parts, but thankfully didn’t.

We stayed here twice. The first time everything was great, appreciated the hand written note and water bottle. The second time we had some problems. We arrived at our cabin to discover it had zero toilet paper or trash bag. It was after hours so we did not have access to help. Properly stocking the cabins with basic things is a must & something that yall need to address

Ok for price with full hookups however not pleased with advertising WiFi and getting "oh it's not working right now". Also only one washer working. Appears they have been done for some time.

Cabin was clean in appearance but had a strong musty smell despite the excessive deodorizer cover up. Community restrooms were clean and orderly. Not our best KOA cabin experience but the price was fair.

The campground is adorable, clean, well maintained. I had some major mechanical issues with my trailer and the staff was so understanding and accommodating getting me extra time to figure it out.

Needs some serious updating. Bathrooms are old and rundown. Sites are in need of some gravel and the whole park needs grooming. Path to the lake was seriously over grown.

Spent one night and it was a quiet and clean campground. Easy to find right off I-40. All sights were gravel and mostly flat. Bathrooms were clean.

Visit in May 2026 two night stay, no paved site but our fifth wheel leveled up great , sweet hard working and accommodating staff, they make your stay enjoyable while trying to restore the campground since new owners

They provided me with a space late one evening which I was very grateful for. Surroundings were very peaceful, staff was very helpful and the instore pizza made my day. I wound up staying 2 nights. I would recommend this KOA to anyone going to OK.

The park is undergoing a much needed renovation. The basics are still great - the sites are long and trees provide shade - but the infrastructure especially the laundry and restrooms need to be updated.

Campground is not being taken care of. Like others who commented once again there was no staff seen our entire stay. Office / store not open at 2pm when we checked in. Picnic tables broken or covered in bird droppings, pool non operational and filled with debris. Bathrooms clean and park is quiet. Could be a great place if ownership stepped up.

Great overnight stay. We were in a class A MH so we didn’t use the facilities or amenities. Site was long and level. Only concern was the public road to get to park had some low tree branches.

Hidden gem! Almost didn’t stay due to other ratings but glad we did. Our site was clean with a patio, wrought iron table set and fire ring. Patio enclosed with stone planter just starting to bloom. Charming and rustic within walking distance to a lake.

We stopped here for a few days on our way to and through Texas. Well-run facility with some longer-stay RVers. This property has a pool - it is an older facility but seemed well-maintained. The pool is concrete but was clean and cool! The laundry facilities were 50% out of order, but I noted a new washer in the box being delivered the day we left. I will say the road leading into the facility was really rough, but again, we saw a municipal road crew re-paving the county road on our way out - evidences of the property attention and upkeep. About a 15 minute drive to the state park where we were able to kayak and hike. Biking and boating in the state park there as well as a marina where we had lunch on the lake. This campground is in a rural spot, but convenient to I-40 and lots of RVers coming in for a night or two then getting on the road. Small walking trail to the lake where you could sit and/or fish. Long walk for a kayak launch (for us). The staff were great and really friendly - helped us identify the state bird too :-). Would recommend as a good layover stop. We noted they have a few cabins on site for rent too.

Very cute campground, well maintained and clean. Little noisy being right off the 40 but it's tucked back and feels safe. (The road in is a little rough - go slow) The real highlight though is the staff. I had a major breakage on my trailer and the staff were super accommodating and empathetic in getting me extra time in my campsite to figure things out.

Nice little rv park. It has a trail down to the lake which was a nice walk. Easy on and off to I-40.
