It was fairly peaceful The truck noise from interstate was a bit disturbing The property needs mowed & grounds cleaned up. The office/store was setup cute but buildings outside were a bit run down All & all it was a decent stay

The family that runs this Campground is amazing. They have taken such great care of the park. And make every guest stay feel special.

The area is nice, good campsites. Unfortunately, we stayed in cabin #2 and were not impressed. It had ants and a mouse trail.

KOA needs to take a strong look at why this is still a Holiday resort. Very poor. I didn’t stay and made new reservations at a campground on down the road.

Easy to park the big rig. Love the concrete pad and how level it is. The patio is awesome. Table chairs gas grill charcoal pit. Awesome stay!

So many disappointments. They advertise wifi, bunkbeds in loft cabins, and firewood sold on site. None of this was true. From reading other ratings, I am surprised I was able to find someone to check me in. This is the worst KOA I have ever been to. Pond and trail to lake was nice though.

Needed ice upon arriving at 1:30 PM on a Thursday afternoon. Officer/store was closed for the day. No WiFi available although it’s advertised as being available. Thought about going elsewhere but stuck it out since we were only staying one night. Bathrooms were clean. Of the 8 or 9 KOAs we’ve visited on our trip this was the only disappointing one.

Grill was filthy, water pressure nonexistent, no WiFi, campsite was tick infested. Stayed there two years ago and it wasn’t like this.

This is a KOA that is hanging on by a thread. The saving grace is that it is the only stop between other stops on a major highway. It is unkept, has no WiFi, barely a laundry, and generally run down. It is a diamond in the rough next to a major lake and has a great layout. Unfortunately staff is unmotivated and clearly owners disengaged. It is a shame to see it unkept. Not worst but close!

It's okay for a quick overnight stay but I wouldn't spend much time there. They no longer have free wifi, which is essential. Our picnic table was falling apart with large holes in it and the firepit was full of overgrown grass. The store was very bare but at least there was pizza you could order. This KOA needs an overhaul.

I imagine in its prime this was a beautiful KOA but time and neglect has ran it down. It needs some help to be rejuvenated. We were in the back and had a nice level site with a little patio which was nice. It truly needs some TLC

This was a very clean park. The young lady in the office/store was very professional and polite. We will return to this KOA!!

Very disappointed and not at all what we have come to expect from KOA. Dusty gravel roads and pads. Grass not cut. Just second rate all the way. We will do more investigating prior to making reservations at KOA again. In the past we just assumed being a KOA we’d be staying at a very nice facility.

Campground is very handy off I40. However, office was closed upon arrival at 3pm. Neighboring camper told us no had been in the office for 2 days. Grounds in need of maintenance. Dogs allowed off leash. General look of disrepair.would not stay here again.

The campgrounds seemed “worn out”. Wallpaper peeling in the bathroom, a couple of the toilets were constantly running. Gas grill was rusted out. Too close to the highway and LOTS of highway noise.

This campground has so much potential but it is in horrible shape … grass needs mowed .. beds need weeded .. playground had foot high grass growing .. catch & release pond is a joke .. no clear maintained path to the lake and worst of all .. the laundry room was filthy … we actually decided to put our dirty clothes back in the camper & wait for next stop .. first impression was bad

Low water pressure 20psi, sewer broken 4 inch straight pipe, men in the women’s bathroom, complained no return call as promised, our shitzu was attacked by off leased dog, big vicious dogs are allowed??? Desk people very nice, Will never stay again

The young lady working in the office was very nice. She had to move us because the person next to our site had an issue with their black tank. Our spot was level. Laundry room looked nice - did not use. Bathrooms were clean and the shower had plenty of water pressure. Road to park was narrow but it was close to I40.

Arrived at 2 pm on Wednesday Office never opened. Never saw any staff. Wanted to try hunt bros pizza they advertised and buy ice…. Didn’t happen. Campground needs help. Would not take much to fix up. Water pressure in showers is non existent. Go elsewhere

Are we low-key , I had some mechanical problems with my RV and a management couldn’t have been any more helpful. They were friendly considerate and made me feel very welcome. Wood stay here again.

Pulled into a site that did not have 30 amp available. I called (after hours) and Eema took care of everything. Moved me to a different site nearby. Easy in and out , easily leveled the rv. Restrooms and showers were clean. Good overnight stay.

This KOA has potential, but presently is in dire need of upkeep in nearly every facet of a campground from roads, gravel in sites, electrical boxes, all phases of vegetation management, and an overall good cleaning. Our site had bones and old dog piles (not plural) cellophane wrappings etc. As noted it has amazing upside potential with a bit of investment and some work

This KOA is in a great spot next to I-40. The hookups worked and we had a good nights stay. I would say that it was a good value for the money and we would defiantly stay there again if we were passing through.

Host and staff is great. Water pressure was poor and went dark yellow brown for two days. Laundry needs newer machines. Decent location. A bit further out than what we needed but good location on the lake.

So clean bathrooms were about the best feature of this campground. The facility is in decay, the sites need to be weeded and have new gravel. My site had trash in it. The laundry was rundown and had very few washers. And I was surprised by the long term residents with what seemed to be non working cars and long weeds on their sites. Over all I would not recommend this KOA.

I used the campground to set up my tent. Unfortunately the tent sites were underneath a grove of persimmon trees that dropped their fruit. Since Im allergic to yellow jackets, and they were attracted to the fruit, I spent half an hour picking up the fruit from my site. Plus, every time I walked I squished them under my shoes. This place needs some serious TLC then it would be wonderful! Some paint, mowing, edging, and organizing or hiding junk piles would be a good start. It has potential though!

The cabin was great! The stars were amazing! You can hear traffic on the interstate which doesn't bother me! The place could use a little upkeep on some facilities as I could tell it is an older Koa! Very friendly staff and would stay here again!

The staff here is what makes this KOA so awesome! They went above and beyond for our family with multiple campsites and a cabin rental to ensure we were all right there together and nearby the fishing pond. Not only did they accommodate us with our large group but they went above and beyond for the kiddos in our group by taking them for a barrel ride, printing off scavenger hunts, having the chickens for the kids to see and it's an easy walk to the lake that's very peaceful. They also have a great kids playground area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back for sure.

My first KOA experience. We are in a Sprinter Isatta series camper van. Very easy to book online. Arrived at 4am. Pulled into our space withe ease. Showers were nice. Checkout was a breeze
