The Rally Room was the perfect size for our family reunion. Every Staff member was so kind and helpful, it was amazing. The weather was a quite rainy the weeks and day before our stay and I realize that is beyond anyone's control. I do believe extending the sidewalk to the entrance point in the fence would be a good idea. I slipped once in the mud but thankfully did not fall. Overall very nice.

I want to make this clear . The women working the front seat are great , kind ,excellent customer service. Also the pizza the sell is good! And extremely reasonable. We stayed in cabin 2. There was dog hair everywhere, bugs, flies and mats in the cabin when we open the door. I think the forgot to clean the cabin! We were way too late and tired to go back to the office . It needs some work.

Arrived and roads in were washed out. Rented a cabin for one night. Immediately noticed a heavy smell of raid or some bug spray. Noticed dead bugs on and in ac unit. After looking around the floor was covered with dead bugs. At first thought they might be ants but so tiny couldn’t really tell. After arriving home noticed all bags full of bugs. Been staying and recommending koa for years.

We rented a cabin and it was ant infested. We had to cram into an RV in the rain. In the morning the front desk shared they had been having ant issues in that cabin and another. We were never told about this at the time of renting. If we had known we would have stayed at a hotel with our 3 month old twins.

My family has been staying at KOA cabins on our vacations for over 30 years. We’ve visited hundreds of them and this KOA in Checotah is one of my personal favorites. It’s in a lovely setting and its standards of excellence are definitely noteworthy. It’s always clean and tidy to perfection and the camp staff are super friendly and accommodating. Quiet, simple, pleasant stay. Limited off season hours, so we missed out on a campfire, but that was our fault. Great nature setting and beautiful cabins!

I’ve been staying at KOA’s throughout this camping journey. First and foremost James and his wife were outstanding host. Hard working honest people and likely have done much. Yet the cabins which are pricey haven’t been updated in years. Water leaks when raining and poor condition make it among the lower in standard. Please remove wasps nest from entry to cabin and put doors on the screened

We have stayed here before on our cross country trips. We are always greeted by a very friendly staff! The campground is pretty and clean and now you can get pizza in the store!!

I stayed in a cabin, one of the small ones with no bathroom. I used the showers at the campground, and absolutely everything was perfectly clean and in excellent condition.

The woman at the desk was very kind and very helpful. The cabin was clean and tidy with a great working air conditioner! The main office was very clean with lots of thought going into activities, entertainment plus food and merchandise for sale. She also cooked our pizzas perfectly!

Staff was great! The campground itself very run down in need of lots of repair and maintenance. Cabin has evidence of water damage..bathrooms need complete cleaning lots of mildew and mold around showered showers heads need replacing.

1st night we got there the cabin next to us was a host staying there and he was on the phone hollering and cussing someone out for about a hour ! The next day was lil better we enjoyed our selves and the pool was nice and cleaned and the bathrooms and showers was. Nice and clean only down fault was the sun was around our cabin most the day wished we had more shade around cabin #2 .

There were ants in the cabin. The air conditioner kept freezing up, even after we cleaned the clogged filter. It was an extremely hot night. The ladies restroom door would not close all they way, leaving it not secure. We will not be staying at this KOA again.

There was no bedding for the loft in our cabin. Left for a few hours for them to set it up and come back to the linens just put on the table. Stay was Ok

Bed layout does not match layout displayed when selecting cabin during registration. No bunk bed, three extra spots to sleep are in the loft. TV reception spotty, pixelated picture often. WiFi signal weak in cabin #1. Road noise continuous and loud all night long. Hot and cold handles are not on standard side. Bug carcasses in light cover in bathroom and kitchen

Lily, Jim, and James were all so wonderful! They really made it fun for our kids. They let them feed the cow, get eggs from the chickens, and ride in the barrel train. My girls also enjoyed the scavenger hunt! Thank you!

Almost had to sleep in my car because it was so cold in the cabin. The tiny heater provided could not get the room above 19°. I've stayed at many KOA cabins in the winter but this was by far the worst experience. Now I get to drive 11 hrs with no sleep :(

Such a wonderful place! We so enjoyed our stay there. The cabin was so clean and cozy (as all of your cabins are) and the grounds were lovely. Thanks also for putting cute Snoopy curtains in the windows of the cabin. It made us smile. We love KOA!

Rented a cabin. Smelled like pet urine. Or mould. All of our bedding and clothing smelled like this when we left. We were both sick during the night but our symptoms disappeared the next day. Truck noise does not stop at all at night and the cabin window faces the highway. Bathroom was clean. Shower was good. Property is not kept clean of leaves or debris.

Great friendly place. All the staff were so helpful. Wooded area right off the interstate highway. Pool was wonderful, several walking trails. Geese, goats and a donkey on the premises were pleasant and fun to watch. Pizza made on site was the best!

Beautiful campground. The sites are grass and long enough for our Coach pulling a jeep to pull in without unhooking. Check-in was quick and easy.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an amazing first KOA cabin experience during our long road trip! 🚗 The kids had a blast in the rec room, which featured foosball, skeeball, and fun painting activities 🎨⚽🎯—perfect for keeping them busy and happy. The best part of our stay was Sherri—she truly does everything! 🙌 She was super friendly, incredibly helpful, and made awesome pizza 🍕. Be sure to try the breakfast pizza—it's unique and absolutely delicious! 😋 Carmella the hamster 🐹 was the cutest surprise and such a hit with the kids. The cabin mattresses were comfortable and updated. There were a few ants in the cabin, but it didn't ruin our trip at all. This KOA totally exceeded our expectations, and we'd definitely stay again! Big thanks to Sherri for being such an amazing host! 💛👏
