As long as the traveler understands this is an older KOA they will enjoy the stay. Site was level and fairly well spaced. Interior roads had a few rough spots but if you can drive half-way proficiently you will by fine. I navigated the roads in a 43' MH towing a Buick so it can be done. The park actually reminded me of what state parks were like years ago before the overcrowding. Loved the camp.

We arrived after hours. Road leading from interstate to KOA entrance is fairly rough and has several low hanging branches above road that you can’t avoid and drag across RV roof as you pass under. Because of this alone I’d not stay here again. It was raining and portions of the roads were somewhat muddy. We were concerned we would get stuck on a few parts, but thankfully didn’t.

Ok for price with full hookups however not pleased with advertising WiFi and getting "oh it's not working right now". Also only one washer working. Appears they have been done for some time.

The campground is adorable, clean, well maintained. I had some major mechanical issues with my trailer and the staff was so understanding and accommodating getting me extra time to figure it out.

Needs some serious updating. Bathrooms are old and rundown. Sites are in need of some gravel and the whole park needs grooming. Path to the lake was seriously over grown.

Spent one night and it was a quiet and clean campground. Easy to find right off I-40. All sights were gravel and mostly flat. Bathrooms were clean.

Visit in May 2026 two night stay, no paved site but our fifth wheel leveled up great , sweet hard working and accommodating staff, they make your stay enjoyable while trying to restore the campground since new owners

They provided me with a space late one evening which I was very grateful for. Surroundings were very peaceful, staff was very helpful and the instore pizza made my day. I wound up staying 2 nights. I would recommend this KOA to anyone going to OK.

The park is undergoing a much needed renovation. The basics are still great - the sites are long and trees provide shade - but the infrastructure especially the laundry and restrooms need to be updated.

Campground is not being taken care of. Like others who commented once again there was no staff seen our entire stay. Office / store not open at 2pm when we checked in. Picnic tables broken or covered in bird droppings, pool non operational and filled with debris. Bathrooms clean and park is quiet. Could be a great place if ownership stepped up.

Great overnight stay. We were in a class A MH so we didn’t use the facilities or amenities. Site was long and level. Only concern was the public road to get to park had some low tree branches.

Hidden gem! Almost didn’t stay due to other ratings but glad we did. Our site was clean with a patio, wrought iron table set and fire ring. Patio enclosed with stone planter just starting to bloom. Charming and rustic within walking distance to a lake.

Loud, nope there wasn't trains or an airport, but the expressway was impressive. Overall, the park was nice.

Super convenient location to the highway but oh is the road to the campground from the highway in bad shape in May 2026. Pretty location and very quiet both times we’ve been there.

We were slow crawling our way home, had been on the road for past 8 days, were looking for a place to end our day early and rejuvenate for the remaining 551 miles home, and this place did the trick. Only complaint was excessive flies at our camping spot, not noticeable elsewhere in camp during the multiple times I walked my pet . Did notice our site ground was DAMP & SOFT. No evidence of rain ??

Very nice campsite, very level. Limited facilities at the park. We did not use the bathhouse. This was our second overnight here and we would stop again.

Place needs better management lawns aren't mowed dogs are tied to trees barking trash in sites branches in sites no landscaping has been done in a while not sure when the office was open broken light post like someone drove over it

Shower house was spotless, but there was no free wifi as advertised.

Sites were fair, bathrooms were dirty, went to gift store around 1:30 pm closed no one around, office closed All we saw was 1 employee in the 2 days we were there No trash cans anywhere but the 1 dumpster

Level sites, dependable Hookups, and easy access to location. The place is definitely a possible diamond in the rough, but for starters to help bring it up to the usual KOA feel all Long-term renters need to tidy their areas up. Looks a little redneck rather than country retreat in the daylight. Just bring a little order to the clutter. Overall a peaceful place!

Nice little camp ground! Great place to stop over night while traveling, clean and camp site was nice to! I arrived after hours and the night check in was easy !

Bathrooms are small and outdated. My shower head had a small stream of water so I had to change showers. Payed extra for a site with table and gas grill, hoping to cook some burgers. Open the grill lid and a frog was on the grate. A wasp nest under the cover. Unusable. Checked the grill in the next site. So dirty I couldn’t use it. Clearly no one checks these sites. I won’t be back.

We got there late due to an accident on the highway, so we didn’t really get to experience much of the park but everything looked clean and nice, we were only staying overnight, and used the showers, that weren’t the best but got the job done.

We stopped here for a few days on our way to and through Texas. Well-run facility with some longer-stay RVers. This property has a pool - it is an older facility but seemed well-maintained. The pool is concrete but was clean and cool! The laundry facilities were 50% out of order, but I noted a new washer in the box being delivered the day we left. I will say the road leading into the facility was really rough, but again, we saw a municipal road crew re-paving the county road on our way out - evidences of the property attention and upkeep. About a 15 minute drive to the state park where we were able to kayak and hike. Biking and boating in the state park there as well as a marina where we had lunch on the lake. This campground is in a rural spot, but convenient to I-40 and lots of RVers coming in for a night or two then getting on the road. Small walking trail to the lake where you could sit and/or fish. Long walk for a kayak launch (for us). The staff were great and really friendly - helped us identify the state bird too :-). Would recommend as a good layover stop. We noted they have a few cabins on site for rent too.

Very cute campground, well maintained and clean. Little noisy being right off the 40 but it's tucked back and feels safe. (The road in is a little rough - go slow) The real highlight though is the staff. I had a major breakage on my trailer and the staff were super accommodating and empathetic in getting me extra time in my campsite to figure things out.

Nice little rv park. It has a trail down to the lake which was a nice walk. Easy on and off to I-40.
