Me, 3 teenagers and 2 other adults tent camped. The restrooms and showers were clean. Staff really nice. My original sites electric was not working and staff was right on it when I called. The only complaint is the hiking trail was not what I was expecting. It was short very short. I would stay again.

This was our first time staying at a KOA and we were overall very happy with our stay. The campground was clean and well maintained and the staff that we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. If there is anything to nit pick about the campground it would be that the water pressure would drop during the day. Admittedly we stayed the weekend of the 4th and there were several campers.

What a hidden gem this park is! Quiet and peaceful. A path takes you to the lake. We had a restful night here. Hope to come back.

Great place to stay, everything is clean and well kept, bathrooms are awesome. Electric hook ups for tent spaces is a plus. Would be 5 stars but its so close to I40 that you hear the interstate all night long. Otherwise great place to stay

Enjoyed our stay. Others had mentioned noise from the freeway could be an issue. We didn’t spend much time outdoors because of the heat but we didn’t hear any freeway noise inside the camper. The patio was very nice. We took a walk to the lake and it was quite pretty. The pizza was absolutely fantastic! The lady in the office was very efficient and personable. Would stay again and do recommen

Nice people, obviously an older park who is not getting the support of their local government because road in hasn’t been resurfaced in probably 50 years. Not their fault but but just go slowly. I’d recommend.

This is a decent KOA campground with level gravel/grass sites. No cable TV, but got a dozen or so off air channels. My main nit pick with these places is maintenance; interior roads are rutted, grass around the sites was very long. For the money they charge seems to me a little campground cleanup could be done. The road coming into the campground is really bad, there are huge pot holes - go slow.

We stayed for one night passing through the area to drive to AR. I wish we had more time to enjoy � the area. The sites were very nice with grass, trees, picnic table and grill. The swimming pool area was very nice and clean. Very clean bathroom and shower area. The check-in area had a small gift shop, side game room and sitting area to watch TV or play games.

Very friendly owners. Love the barnyard zoo. Make sure to read the rules �. The road going into the campground is rough I’m sure due to all the rain they’ve had. Drive carefully.

We have stayed in numerous Koa's across US and this is easily the worst we have stayed at. It is embarrassing to our community. The road in is terrible. I realize it's county road but it would benefit you to just fix it. The roads within are washed out. The grass was not mowed. Yes it's been raining but did not rain during our stay and no effort was made. Kids train did not run. Flower beds need

Thanks for stopping at the Checotah Holiday KOA please remember are WiFi is for checking your email and light surfing of the net you will not be able to stream movies or do large downloads and again(per their login website) Paying a premium price for camping which is expected with KOA do not appreciate monitoring my web usage. At this price level should be able to stream movies etc

The road in to the campground needs much work! The campground was nice and quiet. Gravel pads with all the rain made for messy sites with ruts

The Rally Room was the perfect size for our family reunion. Every Staff member was so kind and helpful, it was amazing. The weather was a quite rainy the weeks and day before our stay and I realize that is beyond anyone's control. I do believe extending the sidewalk to the entrance point in the fence would be a good idea. I slipped once in the mud but thankfully did not fall. Overall very nice.

Great Stop! Friendly people and easy access. A lovely drive in off the freeway, though the road could use some paving. Will always stop by when in the area.

We stopped here for a few days on our way to and through Texas. Well-run facility with some longer-stay RVers. This property has a pool - it is an older facility but seemed well-maintained. The pool is concrete but was clean and cool! The laundry facilities were 50% out of order, but I noted a new washer in the box being delivered the day we left. I will say the road leading into the facility was really rough, but again, we saw a municipal road crew re-paving the county road on our way out - evidences of the property attention and upkeep. About a 15 minute drive to the state park where we were able to kayak and hike. Biking and boating in the state park there as well as a marina where we had lunch on the lake. This campground is in a rural spot, but convenient to I-40 and lots of RVers coming in for a night or two then getting on the road. Small walking trail to the lake where you could sit and/or fish. Long walk for a kayak launch (for us). The staff were great and really friendly - helped us identify the state bird too :-). Would recommend as a good layover stop. We noted they have a few cabins on site for rent too.

Very cute campground, well maintained and clean. Little noisy being right off the 40 but it's tucked back and feels safe. (The road in is a little rough - go slow) The real highlight though is the staff. I had a major breakage on my trailer and the staff were super accommodating and empathetic in getting me extra time in my campsite to figure things out.

Nice little rv park. It has a trail down to the lake which was a nice walk. Easy on and off to I-40.
