We appreciated the rate they charged. We had a patio with a gravel site that was level with 50 amp and it was cheaper than any other KOA we stayed at. Two of the other sites we stayed in were only 30 amp and two of the concrete 50 amp sites we stayed at ( the same KOA ) were not even level.

We have stayed here before but when making reservations this time the guy didn’t give us 2 sites beside even though I asked.i called back later they had plenty sites and moved one of us side by side He got billing mixed up too. When we got there we were sitting outside and they brought a piece of equipment dragging up and down the gravel roads throwing dust all over us. We couldn’t believe it

The 1 staff that I saw or spoke too the entire stay was friendly. However, I never saw anyone else working the entire weekend. The pool was more ran down, the grounds were not mowed or unkept at all (flower beds were overgrown), the pond was so small and the fish weren’t catchable, and there is no way to actually kayak in that pond. Just stayed one night (last minute). Restrooms were very clean, staff was kind and accommodating. Grounds were a little unkempt.

We arrived late and space circled on our checkin map was 24. When we got to the spot it already had someone in it. Space 25 was empty so we set up there. The next morning I went to the office to inform her and found out we actually were suppose to be in 21. She had just circled the wrong space. The person at the desk was very nice. Also, the KOA guide says WiFi, but this KOA did not have WiFi.

Our overall experience wasn’t poor: the staff seemed nice and the pool was refreshing, though a bit worn. However, advertised amenities like Wi-Fi and the Barnyard Zoo were unavailable, and the grounds need upkeep. Play areas were full of weeds and the grass badly needed mowing. Updated website info and better maintenance would help.

Late arrival, no packet and had to call for a site number. Person on the phone sounded annoyed that we were bothering her. Grass needs to be cut. Office closed with operating hours blanked out on the sign. No receipt for stay, etc. We have stayed here many times, never again.

Way too close to highway - downshifting trucks felt like they were inside the cabin. Not terrible, just not a stop I’ll ever make again.

Should not be a KOA Holiday. Grass had not been cut in a long time, roads were so rutted hard to get 5th wheel down them. Site was full of cigarettes, chicken bones, just disgusting. Would never stay again. Gave one star because it was full hookup.

This is our third stay, the park is highway close for easy access. It is clean and the staff is very helpful!

Definitely not good for tenters. We were warned about noise from the highway. Sites were on top of each other, grass wasn’t cut, dumpy picnic table, & the fire ring, which was supposed to be a grill, was so filled with ashes that we weren’t able to have fire under the grate. The planters had nothing but weeds, lake area and path not clean. I gave it a 3 because the bathrooms were very clean

It rained heavily for our one night stay and woke up to our camper being in a puddle. It is a good campground for an overnight on a long trip and staff is super friendly.

Its a great KOA campground, clean and quiet. The staff there were fantastic and I would recommend anyone to go there ! There is NO wifi at this park so bring a good book. There is a short walk to the lake and shopping down the road.

The park needs maintenance. Gravel roads need repair. Lots of potholes and mud. The water pressure was so low our water heater wouldn’t properly run. The grassy areas are overgrown. The laundry facilities looked unkempt. The gal in the office was very nice.

We enjoyed our stay except the room was warm in spite of the ac running non-stop. The full size bed in our cabin was just not the size we were used to but that's on me because I didn't ask when we made reservations. The campground is beautiful. Lots of mature shade trees. The playground is good as well as the pool. The staff were wonderful.

We booked a site plus a cabin, we got the cabin for our daughter and she is handicapped we were told it was a handicap cabin , we had to carry her wheel chair and her up and down the steps also she could not even fit in the bathroom with the chair and the cabin was was bad with bugs , the koa it self was nice and the staff was really friendly and the gifts in the cabin was awesome !

Campsites were fine but we could not get into the men’s or women’s shower house. The code thing was either wrong or broken. The water pressure in the morning was very low and barely enough to take a shower. Need more water pressure at the rv sites.

Terrible, debris scattered all over pictures and descriptions very misleading, the lakeside isn’t somewhere you’d want to hang out at, a lot of sites don’t have proper drainage and where flooded very buggy trees and landscaping overgrown

The staff were great. The campground is clean but old and dated. Horrible highway and train noise. Sewer hookups on about 1/2 the sites is not adequate by a long shot. Not one I will stay at again. But, if you don’t mind the noise and have a locking sewer connection it’s a good place to stay.

1 star for the nice people. 1 star for the proximity to highway. Deductions for well water with high sulfur content that is undrinkable even when Brita filtering. Very low water pressure. Friday night and garbage bins overflowing. Big rigs beware of low hanging trees on roadway to entrance. Fix potholes!

As long as the traveler understands this is an older KOA they will enjoy the stay. Site was level and fairly well spaced. Interior roads had a few rough spots but if you can drive half-way proficiently you will by fine. I navigated the roads in a 43' MH towing a Buick so it can be done. The park actually reminded me of what state parks were like years ago before the overcrowding. Loved the camp.

We arrived after hours. Road leading from interstate to KOA entrance is fairly rough and has several low hanging branches above road that you can’t avoid and drag across RV roof as you pass under. Because of this alone I’d not stay here again. It was raining and portions of the roads were somewhat muddy. We were concerned we would get stuck on a few parts, but thankfully didn’t.

We stayed here twice. The first time everything was great, appreciated the hand written note and water bottle. The second time we had some problems. We arrived at our cabin to discover it had zero toilet paper or trash bag. It was after hours so we did not have access to help. Properly stocking the cabins with basic things is a must & something that yall need to address

Ok for price with full hookups however not pleased with advertising WiFi and getting "oh it's not working right now". Also only one washer working. Appears they have been done for some time.

Cabin was clean in appearance but had a strong musty smell despite the excessive deodorizer cover up. Community restrooms were clean and orderly. Not our best KOA cabin experience but the price was fair.

The cabin was great! The stars were amazing! You can hear traffic on the interstate which doesn't bother me! The place could use a little upkeep on some facilities as I could tell it is an older Koa! Very friendly staff and would stay here again!

The staff here is what makes this KOA so awesome! They went above and beyond for our family with multiple campsites and a cabin rental to ensure we were all right there together and nearby the fishing pond. Not only did they accommodate us with our large group but they went above and beyond for the kiddos in our group by taking them for a barrel ride, printing off scavenger hunts, having the chickens for the kids to see and it's an easy walk to the lake that's very peaceful. They also have a great kids playground area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back for sure.

My first KOA experience. We are in a Sprinter Isatta series camper van. Very easy to book online. Arrived at 4am. Pulled into our space withe ease. Showers were nice. Checkout was a breeze
