The park was well maintained and the staff was very nice and considerate. The only reason I marked it down to 4 stars was because it’s an older park and needs a little updating.

Perfect stop off I-40. Very peaceful park. Staff were pleasant, very helpful. Pool very refreshing on a hot day.

The staff were some of the friendliest we have ever met in the KOA community. The only issue is the road leading into campground.

The host and workers were very friendly. The amenities were great. Pool does need drained and cleaned as there was a lot of algae. All in all great place to visit.

The park is almost on top of interstate 40 and the freeway noise was pretty loud. The park is well maintained and staff were friendly. It’s very far away from grocery stores or restaurants.

This is our second visit to this KOA. We really enjoy this hidden gem!! The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to make sure things go well. We had a little trouble leveling our. 5th wheel but had some help from the staff:). Thank you!!

I didn't like having to pay $25 to park an extra vehicle and cargo trailer. Other campgrounds only charge $5. Also, they had almost no food in their store.

Nice facility. Pool good. But they put us in the worst spot available for very few customers. The shaded spots that were not being used would have helped us tremendously on a HOT August nite.

We had a wonderful time there. Sherri and Frankie were amazing knowledgable and welcoming. Restrooms and laundry facilities were clean. We had plenty of shade. We fed Daisy. Boys fished in the pond. Walked down to the lake.

The office staff are very nice and accommodating. However, it was an extremely hot day and we wanted to use the pool. The campground allows people other than campers to come in and pay a fee and use the pool. We were unable to get any table/chairs. The pool was quite crowded so we avoided it. We will not return to this campground because of pool policy and very loud i40 traffic noise.

Due to the fact, the AC was out in the front of our bus, the temperatures were over 100 We drove early and arrived at 11 AM. We were informed that to check in early it would cost $30, had the park been full I would’ve understood they were six other people there. We paid the $30 and at 8 o’clock that night two more people had checked in will never stay there again and will never recommend.

It was our first time to stay here and it was absolutely amazing. We took our 3 nephews for a long weekend trip and the campgrounds had plenty fortified help keep them busy. They loved fishing in the catch and release pond, feeding grass to the donkey and goats, and swimming in the pool. Our patio site had plenty of shade and space. The staff were very friendly and helpful. 5 stars all around.

The public road leading to the park was in bad condition. Park entrance was easy to find and people in charge were very helpful. Took us to our shady site explained the rules and features of the campground while we were hooking up. The store had a good selection of things you forgot and things you may need.

This is a neat and clean park with easy access to the interstate. The staff is friendly and the sites are clean and organized. We enjoyed the pool and the trail to lake.

The campground was well-maintained, and was very comfortable camping there. When we got there, the air conditioning was running, and the cabin was clean. My wife and I will definitely be back.

Very rooming park. Staff great. Dog Park mostly dirt. This could be one of KOA's best if only the access road was not is such terrible shape. The rough road was such a bad experience that it makes a terrible first impression.

This is a nice park but it should be labeled KOA Journey. It’s priced like a Journey so we got value for our fee, but expected to have access to Lake Eulala. There is considerable delayed maintenance and it would be nice to have either daily trash pickup or more convenient receptacles located throughout. We wanted to check in a little early and we’re told it cost $10 per hour. Check in @2 not

We stopped here for a few days on our way to and through Texas. Well-run facility with some longer-stay RVers. This property has a pool - it is an older facility but seemed well-maintained. The pool is concrete but was clean and cool! The laundry facilities were 50% out of order, but I noted a new washer in the box being delivered the day we left. I will say the road leading into the facility was really rough, but again, we saw a municipal road crew re-paving the county road on our way out - evidences of the property attention and upkeep. About a 15 minute drive to the state park where we were able to kayak and hike. Biking and boating in the state park there as well as a marina where we had lunch on the lake. This campground is in a rural spot, but convenient to I-40 and lots of RVers coming in for a night or two then getting on the road. Small walking trail to the lake where you could sit and/or fish. Long walk for a kayak launch (for us). The staff were great and really friendly - helped us identify the state bird too :-). Would recommend as a good layover stop. We noted they have a few cabins on site for rent too.

Very cute campground, well maintained and clean. Little noisy being right off the 40 but it's tucked back and feels safe. (The road in is a little rough - go slow) The real highlight though is the staff. I had a major breakage on my trailer and the staff were super accommodating and empathetic in getting me extra time in my campsite to figure things out.

Nice little rv park. It has a trail down to the lake which was a nice walk. Easy on and off to I-40.
