It is a populated area and not very ‘woodsy’ but staff was all very friendly snd the grounds were clean. There was no wifi and no expected ETA which is unacceptable. Also, my husband had to plunge the shower because it wouldn’t drain. No fire pit was a bummer too.

Not realistic for large Bus! @ 45’ GPS is not really good….best way to go is in a Publix…parking lot, going in front of the store… Roads in the RV Pack are bad …muddy etc…

Campground host was very friendly and helpful. Good people. We stayed in a premium patio site, which gave us additional space.

Checking in at night after hours was a breeze! We were located conveniently between two bathhouses so we could decide if we were taking the dogs to the fenced in dog park or taking our kid to the playground on which bathhouse we'd stop at. We have stayed here before as it is very close to Carowinds but this trip we were enjoying Charlotte with baseball games and riding scooters around town.

This was our first camping trip and everything was great. It is a nice campground. Marie (who was cleaning the cabins) was very nice and knowledgeable. The bathrooms are clean. The site we stayed at (104) was beautiful, level, shaded, and we loved the patio and table with chairs. The nice young man who assisted us to our site was great. We had a great first experience! Thank you!

The location is perfect. Local fuel station with a great outdoor restaurant near by. Only thing I would like to see and I’m sure they are in the process of would be re-paving the entry area and the roads. It’s not a issue but a nice to have not a need to have. I’d suggest offering wood service too. The park was fun for my kiddos. Staff is 5 stars.

Cabin was nice....smaller than I expected. Dishes were not as clean as what we hoped. Will need to bring air mattress next time. The refrigerator did not feel very cold and I was worried about the food. We didn't get a chance to do a camp fire due to the weather.

Very disappointed in the Reservation system... when I first had to call because (1)the KOA online service found NO sites and(2) when I asked for one more night, they said I'd have to move to another site...that wouldn't have been so upsetting as I understood that the original site was reserved to another incoming camper. NOBODY ever filled that site that I asked to stay in for one more night?!

Have been staying here about once a year since 2016. Excellent people. The campground is a bit threadbare, but current owners are making incremental improvements. Suggestions: If keeping sites gravel, install a thick, level layer, no mud. Do not put pedestals at the front of backin sites. Do not have sewer hookups higher than the site. Visit Natural Bridge, VA - KOA for examples of good sites.

One night stop. Clean bathrooms and grounds. The Publix grocery store is within 3 to 5 minute walk. Loved the food truck and bar next door. Would stay here again when driving through the area

We arrived after hours and our site was circled and a line drawn to it. However, the way indicated did not allow for the sharp turn to pull our rig and trailer through, and the sites were not well marked. We did a lot of driving around on rough bumpy roads and tight turns until we could get situated correctly. Though many open sites, we were given a 30 amp instead of the 50 we wanted.

OK for a quick overnight. Women's shower was great. But lots of stuff wasn't working. No WiFi. Change machine in the laundry didn't work. Couple of men's toilets out of order.

Our check-in package was easy as we arrived after operating hours. Bathrooms were cleaned. Grocery store and gas station nearby.

Got in late, couldn’t fit in location. Assigned spot too small for camper. Stabilize jacks wouldn’t fit on concrete pad.

We stopped overnight on our way from Florida to Pa. Campsites are kinda tight but we did call a couple days in advance and got a pull thru. We were disappointed there was no WiFi or internet and a bit pricy at $90 per night. But it is convenient to the highway and gas stations that you can fit in with a 32 ft motorhome towing a car.

Needed a last minute place for overnight , stay off the hwy . Called , booked cabin with ease . Customer service amazing ! Late midnight check in also! Main bathrooms absolutely spotless ! And enormous ! Would def recommend KOA to travel
