Fantastic amenities within the campground, and even more useful services in very close proximity. The drive into Charlotte really is 20 minutes off rush hours, so because of the above, we'll look forward to staying there again. A note of caution: if you are sensitive to road noise,.do not stay here, the noise is ever present

Compared to RV parks with similar, or better, amenities the cost seemed high. In fact we paid more here than we did at KOA’s located near tourist attractions. On the positive side, a gas station and a Publix grocery store are conveniently next door to the campground.

It was a brief stay this time, but everything was fine as usual. Easy access to the site and to the highway on the way back home. Didn't have time to enjoy the amenities, but the new additions to the playground looked awesome.

Mgr Bill was very nice and helpful. Listened to my complaints. Since people don't pick up after their dogs in the dog area, I feel the mess needs to be cleaned by KOA.It was full of poop the whole time I was there. Upgrade the wifi, it was horrible. Propane not available until after 10, most leave way before that. Gal in the office was negative, including when I called to book. Fix your roads!

A bit underwhelmed with this KOA. I would say that the clean baths and showers gave it an additonal star. The place was very muddy and needs repaved badly.

Make sure you ask for a full hookup station otherwise you just get electric at the full site fee. Not a very happy camper at this site.

The staff is helpful and friendly.The spaces are small , tight and unlevel . Bring extra leveling blocks . The roads within the park are rough. Maybe okay for one night stays if you are okay with the above information.

We stayed there a lot of times. It’s always nice and clean. Workers are always nice. This year for some reason they had a Ton of dump trucks all day long from 8 am until Dinner time. Noise, traffic and pollution for the camp site. Never could light a fire because of the truck coming behind me and in front of me all day long.

This was our third time staying here for several days while visiting with family. It is a great location and a very nice campground!

We have been staying at this park for 7 years while passing through. It has continued to deteriorate. The roads are terrible. The site that we had was muddy and needs more gravel or concrete. The sewer inlet had no threads to hold the sewer hose attachment. The prior camper must not have noticed as there was dried sewage and toilet paper around the area. Also they parked us incorrectly.

Noisy, noisy, noisy. Lots of traffic noise. Site 71 had a gravel parking area. On the door side of the site was a 8 foot tall solid pvc fence. It completely blocked off the site. Entry had a lot of pot holes. Exit from the park required turning onto a busy highway without the benefit of a traffic signal. Not much better than staying in a parking lot.

We were put to the front of the park, even though there is construction , and a lot of dust. We asked to be moved, but the lady at the desk , said they were full. When we moved out early the next morning , there were lots of sites open.

Interior roads beyond horrible, site was extremely small & in terrible condition. Power was poor. Dump trucks continuously driving through campground kicking up dust. Couldn't sit outside due to the dust in the air, not that there was space to sit outside. All for $ 80.00 + a night. Worst KOA EVER. Positive point, host we're very nice & helpful.

Very disappointing for a KOA. Property is run down to a point of apparent neglect. Front entrance is a mess adjacent to a construction site and there is a constant stream of dump trucks driving directly through the park within feet of the RVs. Roads in the park haven’t been maintained at all. Honestly I am shocked this park holds the KOA brand given its condition.

The campsites had a lot of loose dirt which got on shoes etc and tracked in. Check in was good. Needs better lighting and marking for campsites. We found an 81 year old woman wandering in the dark trying to find her campsite. They had had a breakdown on the road and were late arrivals at 11 pm. With us helping her look it was still challenging to find site.

The staff was great. Bathrooms and laundry rooms were clean. Was conveniently located. However, the rvs were packed in like sardines and the gravel trucks going in and out all day long is a deal breaker.

It sucked… The site was very unleveled. After spending 45 nights in this past year. This is past year, this is the only site I have dig out my leveling blocks. Shame on you guys and to have the dump trucks hauling dirt in during a time I needed to relacks after a long day of travel is unforgettable… You still charged me you premium price for the night. Screw you guys, there are other place

Staff was great! But the location for getting your RV in and out is not the best. The roads to the lots are terrible along with the trucks that are going in and out making dust.

Road into the site needs new paving. Its loaded with large holes as you go into the site. Many sites are unlevel which require the use of every anderson platform, stackable pads, and wood blocks you can find. Bath houses were clean. The staff were super friendly. You get really really cozy with all your neighbors as you surrounded. Its a great location but not much more than a spot.

Stay two nights on a not so nice site was downgraded, should be reimbursed for the difference but still haven’t been. I gave it a two because the people there are very nice and the bathrooms are nice and clean. The sites are definitely below par for the price that are charged.

During our stay, we had 2 days of heavy surprises come through the campground, nonstop. There was 3 dozen or MORE trucks come through. Wasn’t quiet or peaceful. One day of peace with downpour of rain (of course, not koa fault on weather). Next day sun and more dump trucks!!

We’ve stayed here for several years on our way to Florida. Always thought they were in process of improving. We were wrong! Potholes, rough road, poor access, sharp turns. We’re not coming back!

Great area, very nice staff, clean, close to interstate and shopping. My only negative was the roads in the campground. Wayyyyy too bumpy for big rigs. The 5 mph speed limit was too fast! Other than that it would have gotten 5 stars.

Older facility. A little pricey for overnight stay. Loves RV has better facilities for overnighters at half the price with electricity, water and sewer on cement pad with fenced in dog park. Plus Loves has fuel and food and showers and toilets if you need them.

Needed a last minute place for overnight , stay off the hwy . Called , booked cabin with ease . Customer service amazing ! Late midnight check in also! Main bathrooms absolutely spotless ! And enormous ! Would def recommend KOA to travel

John's Place is a great bar for bikers and music lovers. Their friendly atmosphere and service is superb. If you just want to shoot some pool or hang on their large patio, you got it. Food is also available through an on site vendor. All in all, this place is a 10 in terms of fun relaxation and to hang with friends whilst out on a bike ride. Enjoy.
