From I-70, exit at Glenwood Springs. Travel Hwy 82 toward Aspen, 12 miles. Turn right on Hwy 133 at Carbondale. Travel 6.5 miles, turn left into campground.

River fishing: Carbondale is close to many gold-medal water options. Our campground sits right on the Crystal River, offering easy access from our campsites. Just a short drive North from our campground, the Roaring Fork offers amazing fly-fishing opportunities and a boat ramp. As well as south towards Aspen, the Frying Pan River is another gold-medal water opportunity to cast your line. 17 miles from our camp, in Glenwood Springs, the Roaring Fork River connects with the Colorado River at Two Rivers Park, which offers a boat ramp for easy in and out. There are numerous opportunities to book a guided float trip as well on any of these close rivers.
Lake Fishing: Just 20 miles south of our campground, past Redstone, you'll find Beaver Lake and several other small ponds. These are great opportunities to explore during the run-off season, when the rivers are too fast to fish. Great family picnic area too! Or take your paddle board and soak up the incredible views. Another opportunity for lake fishing would be less than an hour away at Ruedi Reservoir.
Carbondale boasts of biking adventures! Take in the numerous easy, paved trails for leisure bicycling and walking, many of these trails follow the rivers and creeks, spreading from our campground all the way to Aspen, Snowmass Village, Basalt, Carbondale, or Glenwood Springs. Take in the gorgeous scenery on your way peddling through the central Rocky Mountains, with photo opportunities around every corner!
For those who are looking for more of a challenge, technical style ride on a single-track trail, Carbondale offers all types.
