Once you see the Cape Hatteras National Seashore visitors center, we are about 30 minutes south. We are located in the first town you come to, approximately 3 miles in on the ocean side. Our reservations office is a blue three story building. If you find yourself exiting civilization/town, you've passed us.

Nights in Rodanthe (2008): This romantic drama film, based on the Nicholas Sparks novel of the same name, was filmed in several locations in the Outer Banks, including Rodanthe and Hatteras Island.
Message in a Bottle (1999): Another film based on a Nicholas Sparks novel, "Message in a Bottle" starring Kevin Costner and Robin Wright, included scenes filmed in the Outer Banks, including Cape Hatteras.
The Perfect Storm (2000): While the majority of the film was shot in Massachusetts, some scenes from "The Perfect Storm" were filmed off the coast of North Carolina, including the waters around Cape Hatteras.
