Great staff, very friendly. Would not recommend purchasing firewood there as it is quite a bit more expensive. Purchase at any of the nearby residential locations.

Most of the staff is very friendly and helpful. Campground is well maintained and clean. Sites are very close so that was a bit frustrating at times. Overall we had a nice stay.

Nice comfortable stay. Dottie and Jon take very good care of this park. Nice pool, things for kids to do anc nice and quiet. Allen was also very kind to us. There was another gentleman when I was in laundry room and got overheated and he took care of me and I would like to thank him.

One issue that I have is the 10pm quiet rules. My son was playing a video game on the TV on the outside of our trailer. The volume was turned way down. At 10:15pm we were told to shut it off unless we had earbuds. Ok I get that but you could barely hear it. That was a little overboard. What I don't get is that's not ok but at 7am people can make all the noise they want.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Quiet hours are 10pm-7am, no outside radios/TVs during that time. We have found just "turn it down" at 10pm does not work, & we must treat all campers equal. A tent near you might not enjoy hearing your kids games. We hope you enjoyed everything else we have to offer. Happy Kamping.

It was great! The cleanest, best maintained campground I’ve ever seen! The staff are wonderful too. They went way out of their way to help me with my next reservation.. we will be back for another family gathering next year!

We enjoyed our brief stay at the campground following a wedding attended nearby. Our site was very level and easy to park the trailer on. We were impressed by the cleanliness and maintenance of the grounds throughout the campground. It is a fun and safe for families or people of all ages to stay. Highly Recommend!

Jon and Dottie are the best! And it translates thru their entire staff! Always kind and helpful! This is our first travel trailer visit, but we’ve been here tenting and it’s always a pleasant experience!

We are at this KOA at least three times per season. Rain or shine, the stay is always a pleasant one with the available activities. Jon, Dotty, Victor and all employees are ready to assist in any way and always with a smile. RG

Brought my granddaughter down there and. We had a blast, the staff was very friendly. Everybody was doing everything they are supposed to be doing. Best of all, everything was nice and clean. We already went ahead and booked our 40th anniversary with you and It's christmas in july weekend

Our stay at the Canandaigua KOA couldn’t have been better. The people who run this campground couldn’t have been nicer. The grounds and sites are very well maintained. Our 7 yr old granddaughter gave it a 10/10 ranking! She especially loved the pool, obstacle course and jumping pad. We will be back.

Very nice campground clean restroom and showers. The 30amp plug was broken at my site and was fixed within 30 minutes. Would return if in the area.

We were exploring the Finger Lake region of New York and this campground was a good place to have as a home base. The staff was friendly and the pool was wonderful. Thank you.

Great park, all employees encountered were very helpful and pleasant,location cannot be beat, will definitely be back in the fall. The best KOA we have ever stayed at, this park should be cloned for all the others to follow.

Staff and campground was great. Very clean with lots of things to do. Bathhouses we super clean and we loved the all in one single facilities since we could not get a full hook up site it was easier to shower in them then fill our grey tank.

It was our first time staying an entire week Sunday to Sunday with our 2 granddaughters. We were disappointed there were no planned activities other than swimming and Ice cream hour Sunday through Thursday. We expected more from our previous stays. Then we realized almost all of our previous stays have been holiday weekends or special event days. Even with no planned activities we enjoyed it.

We loved our brief stay and will definitely be back when visiting family in the area-- Staff were so friendly, welcoming, and helpful; Facilities were great (we LOVED the universal bathrooms/showers); And the pool, jump pad, mini golf, playgrounds, and arcade kept our kiddos entertained. (We did have some stressful teaching moments re: the claw machine though, lol!)

Highly recommend this campground. We've stayed here twice now and both times were great. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. The facilities are great too, anything you would want for both adults and kids. We would stay here anytime we're looking for a place in the area.

Updating my review to include the new Hunt's Pizza offering in the Cafe. It's a great addition and very tasty, they have a thin crust option which is perfect and a very good breakfast pizza! The pizza/wings only take about 6-7 minutes to cook and taste very fresh. Nice to have this on-site and not have to drive or wait an hour for delivery, saves gas and time! I've stayed at hundreds campgrounds and KOA's over the past 30 years and this is by far my favorite, it's a gem in the camping world. The facilities and grounds are exceptionally clean and well maintained. The campground is a nice size, everything is within walking distance. They installed a huge new pool this year and it is fantastic! The staff is all friendly, family owned and the workers appear to be campers themselves. I've always had positive interactions and it's impressive how much staff is around to help. They are very upbeat and make you feel good with every interaction. The 10 pm quite hour is enforced and staff patrol around the clock to maintain quite and help with anything you might need. The camp store is well supplied with goodies and camping essentials in case you need something critical ( I seem to every trip!). The pond is really nice and I always see people enjoying the fishing and boats. They have a Cafe with great pancake breakfasts (the blueberry pancakes are fantastic!). They also have pizza, burgers, ect. We especially love the fresh fries and onion rings, we usually grab some to have with whatever we might be grilling at the site. Probably the most family friendly campground we've been to. While my wife and I were playing bingo there was a group of kids and family playing kickball in a field and a bunch of kids jumping on some giant pillow thing, nice to see so many people having fun, even during these trying times. This is the only Campground where I've been able to get a solid wifi connection, important for me as I can do a work zoom meeting remotely. We were also able to stream directly to our smart tv from our home services. No need for cable or a satellite! There is a lot to do in the area, horse track and casino less than 5 miles away and a water park nearby. This is a great place to stay while touring the local wineries or going to Watkins Glen (I've stayed at the KOA in Watkins, it is huge and the most expensive one I've stayed at in the Northeast). I wish I had discovered this KOA years ago, it's a perfect escape from home (Syracuse NY) and less than an hour away if my wife is driving :). I recently read that RV sales are up 30% this year, last time that happened was 9/11. Campgrounds booked very quickly and I'm certain that'll happen again. I'd book a year in advance if you can't get in now, I learned the hard way. This is a great place to book a Monday-Friday if you can't get in a full week. Enjoy your stay, it's hard not to! Ps. Don't miss the Happy Camper Breakfast in the cafe!
