We were there for the 2nd night of the 2026 season. The campground is all set and ready to go…welcoming & pristine. We had an rv site by the pond. Loved the water feature and lighting. Penn State Alumni owned..Go Nittany Lions!

We were on our way home to Canada after a winter in Mexico, so we only stayed one night. The owners were very pleasant and welcoming, and the campground was very well maintained. It is definitely a fun family place to stay.

We had a great time as usual so much fun kudos to the (Cafe) they really did a great job. The food is always good and of course we love to play bingo. The park is so clean so friendly. It’s always a wonderful time.

Canandaigua KOA and its owners John and Dottie are incredible! There is so much to do here for the kiddos! If you’re retired, it’s a great relaxing place for you as well! There are numerous adult activities too! Love the farm market in the pavilion on Saturdays (even though he’s like Oscar the grouch) The pool, store, cafe, hayrides, bingo, food trucks, ALL the activities are great! BEST KOA

We rediscovered this campground in the spring and decided it has to be on our route each spring & fall! The people are so helpful & friendly, & there are 2 great restaurants, Pudgie’s & Ray’s, that deliver to the campground. Their food is delicious & reasonably priced. The campground is beautiful & the area very scenic in the Finger Lakes region of NY. We are already booked for April!

Consistently quality campground. The layout features good spacing between the sites, ample areas for the pooch in your life to run around, play and explore; that includes a nature trail with activities for the kids as well as. Bathrooms always clean. We've stayed here numerous times on our cross-country trips to the PNW and on our return trips back to the northeast.

Very nice camp ground, clean restrooms, level sites, very nice setting. Plenty to do if you have kids. Very nice stop over for 3 nights. Owners where friendly and accommodating. Definitely would stay again. Thanks

Stayed 4 days at the end of October. Park was pretty quiet at the time, yet people were coming and going. Park was very well kept and we enjoyed our time there. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Perfect location to explore the greater Rochester area! Would definitely recommend to others and would definitely stay again! Thank you!

This KOA is my absolute favorite. Its clean, well kept, and the owners are very friendly and hospitable. My husband and I camp there about twice a year and we always have fun! The staff is always friendly and welcoming upon check in. I wouldn't change it for the world. Thank you to the family.

This was our first year seasonal, I have been coming here for over ten years as a short time camper. I didn’t think it could get any better but being seasonal here and seeing how hard everyone works to make sure it is a joyful experience is amazing! Jon, Dottie, Victor, and the whole staff are wonderful!

Thus KOA was very nice. The staff was very friendly. Our site was level. We were there in October 2025 for an overnight stop. Our site had a nice concrete patio with very nice chairs and table. We didn't use any other facilities but the park was very clean in all areas that walked thru. The site was in open space so in warmer temps it might be a bit hotter. But overall, it was a pleasant stop.

Nice campground; Bathrooms that are single use was a plus!! Rain shower heads!! Was nice to see there were plenty of bathrooms and two that were designated for as a restroom only!! Sites were large; some the distance to utilities was a bit far..

As usual, the owners of KOA Canandaigua go above and beyond to fill the Holiday weekends with activities for all age groups. WE have been coming to this campground since 1983 and the recent years have been the most enjoyable. My teenage granddaughters beg us to make reservations and cannot wait to come and participate in the planned activities. I recommend this KOA campground for anyone.

Very well kept place. If you have kids (we don't) there is a lot for them there. Some games for adults too if you have time (we never do). Appreciate the golf cart escort to our campsite on arrival, and help getting in and alignment with sewer etc. Saves a lot of time, really gets people in and set up quickly. A great idea. Bathrooms (if you need them) are clean. Staff is very accommodating.

I only stayed one night but had an enjoyable spot right by the little pond and the shower facilities and bathrooms are very nice.

Everything was lovely. Handing out candy to the kids for an Early Halloween was fun. The grounds are very well kept. The people working there were very kind and helpful. Well the lady working in the Cafe had an additude. I did make a mistake about my grandson's support dog ,but she could have had some kindness. We just didn't go back. All the others made the stay fun. Thank you for a great tim

Glad you had a great time. Your dog not being allowed in the cafe had nothing to do with our staff's kindness, that is a NYDOH rule. Only service animals are allowed due to health regulations that we MUST follow in order to stay open. Happy Kamping.

WOW! Let me tell you this is one of my favorite KOA's I have stayed at! The staff was VERY attentive to any need and making sure you felt welcomed! They have the BEST icecream shop. I got the recommended orange vanilla milkshake! It was so good I got it 2 more times! We stayed in a camping cabin around the pond and my father in law had a space next to us for his travel trailer. The campground bathrooms were kept very clean. It was very accommodating that they were private bathrooms with a shower in them! Added lots of pictures and videos of the campground! When we stayed here we visited all 11 finger lakes! It was a great home base for us! I would call the front desk while we were out and could order firewood and it would be delivered! Also, Salvatore pizza delivered to our campsite! So much to do in the area! If you have a group of friends/family they have a loop of camping cabins around the lake that would be great! Cabins hold up to 4 or up to 6 (in a few) and our dog friendly! Don't let me forget the campground has a VERY CLEAN pool on site!
