We had a great time staying at the KOA of Canandaigua/Rochester. There are so many things to do there and the KOA crew are very helpful and accommodating. We are definitely coming back to this campground and we would recommend it. We were there from July 7 - July 10, 2026.

My only issue was the a.c unit was filled with MOLD to the point it was coming out the vents & barely working.The a.c ON ran w. the compressor ON for 3 min intervals.Then the compressor would kick off & it would just blow warm mold air till the compressor kicked back on.I did notify the office & their suggestion was "keep the door closed" which even closed "all the way" had a 2+ inch gap.#K8 +pics

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We investigated & found some dust (no mold) & cleaned the filter. When it's 95 out & kids keep running in & out of the cabin, it makes it hard for the AC to keep up. The door has less than a .25" gap when properly shut. We lowered the temp setting & the compressor never stopped. Happy Kamping.

We found the spaces to be quite close to each other. Love our site and fire pit. Just a little too close to neighbors. Liked that the bathrooms and showers were clean and the shower heads were amazing. Just wish the back path to get them was lit with solar lights or little lights. It’s a little scary in the dark. Love that the location of the camp is so close to the town!

The campground was one of the nicest I have ever been at. It looked and ran like resort with owner who personally guided us to take you to our spot, immaculate rest rooms, paddle boats, bikes to rent and even an ice cream shop at night!!

I've only stayed at KOA about 10x. This is my second time staying here. It's my favorite so far. Friendly staff goes a long way.

Our stay was awesome. Everyone had a wonderful time. The camp grounds are very safe, and the pool was amazing and enjoyed by everyone. The bath rooms were clean and easily accessible. The staff was extremely helpful and willing to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We all had a wonderful time and already have reservations for next year. Thank you to everyone. Carol Kessler

Nice cabin stay. Very clean. A/C worked well. Neighbors were considerate seeing it was the 4th weekend. Ordered pizza which came promptly and hot. Would definitely stay again. Would you consider some dishes and utensils in the cabin? Linens? We were fine but some other KOA’s provided everything one needed. We stayed in all KOA cabins as safety of possessions was important. No hotel lots

Very accommodating! Most staff is friendly. The only thing to complain about is the pool rule! 18 and over. Definitely teenagers were in there without an adult that were younger than 18. Saw them walk in without an adult and walk out. I say, show me a tattoo to proove youre 18, LOL. Dotty is awesome and we love coming back every year with our family and friends! Thank you again!

On an extremely hot weekend, you guys did your best to keep everyone cool. I would say the only thing that was frustrating is there is no adult swim time so the pool is always overcrowded. I would suggest have a couple hours a day that is only for adults. Otherwise everything was amazing and fun! Can not wait for next summer's visit!!

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately I can only imagine the rage from some parents when we tell them their children can't get in the pool for a few hours when its nearly 100*.

We loved our site because it was on the end of the row. The sites are very close in some areas. The campground was very clean and had lots to do. We will be back.

Stayed for 3 nights over the weekend and it was so nice. We had a lovely spot right on the pond and next to the restrooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My only regret was I really wanted an ice cream cone and was not there during the time they were serving. I am a KOA member which gavve us a discount and it was very reasonable. We would definitely stay here again.

Great site, clean showers, on a road trip across the country. Little tight for our taste but that’s us! We have a small basecamp and were surrounded by monster campers �

This KOA is amazing and just an all around fantastic campground. Clean, inviting, lots of amenities, lots of upgrades, and friendly staff. KOA's are your higher end campgrounds and this campground is a higher end KOA. Great job everyone! I highly recommend staying here.

Our family just loves camping here! We came for the first time 4 years ago just to have a test run for our new to us pop up camper and just loved it so much we just keep coming back. We've since upgraded to a travel trailer and the sites are great, lots to choose from. The bathrooms are super clean and maintenanced daily. The special event weekends are jam packed with stuff for the kids to do. We always close out our camping season with one of their Halloween weekends, and I'm pretty sure that's our family's favorite weekend of events and trick or treating on the campground. The owners put a lot of love into this place, you can really tell!

Went to visit friends and had a great time...Kids did a lot of fishing, swimming.. They also had a arcade room and mini golfing. Kids had a blast and I wouldn't mine staying for a weekend.
