The campground is isolated with no road noise or train noise. This is a good thing! The access road to the upper campground level is tight, but doable in a Class A or a fifth wheeler. Gravel roads can get dusty. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Mike. We enjoyed our stay.

Came up to do some kayaking- was nice being out of the way of the business of the main campgrounds in the area. KOA is where I always stay- no matter where I’m going!

We enjoyed the stay, but found that it was further from the freeway than we anticipated. Cell service was poor and there was no cable. We have 36 foot rig, and I wouldn't want to try anything bigger. We enjoyed the paths. Bathrooms were in good shape.

We just needed some valuable down time to be refreshed from intense business and that was what we got. Never left the campground but enjoyed the quiet, the song birds and the solitude. Thank you.

Nice basic campground. Staff visible and friendly. Sites could use some upgrading with fresh gravel, upgraded firepits and attention to hookup areas. Restrooms were clean and attended. Seasonal residents were friendly.

Owners, staff & seasonal campers made us feel like family and were very accommodating. We booked 3 more stays.

Young staff members working at front desk were disengaged which was disappointing. I went into to the store about 4 times during our stay which included check in and not once did the staff look me in the eye, smile or present any sort of pleasantries. We did enjoy our site, thought the pool, playground, and mini golf were well maintained.

The Loudonville can be extremely busy during prime summer weekends... but the Butler KOA is just far enough away that it remained quiet. It is also close enough that if you want to go tubing, kayaking, canoeing it is a short ride. Perfect.

The check in process is quick and easy. The staff was great. We only stayed 1 night. We will be back again.

We had a great time. Campground was quiet, staff and other campers were friendly. My kids enjoyed the playground and fishing. We would stay here again.

We had a good visit, but it does not seem like the camp was really ready for the start of camping season. They were doing a lot of regular grounds maintenance during the day which was a little disruptive and their gravel roads are in desperate need of upgrades and maintenance. They are too steep on the edges and too narrow to feel truly safe maneuvering a larger tow behind,

Owner Bev did an outstanding job welcoming us. This KOA was not however open for the season so there were some things not working or closed because of that. We were lucky she was open because we specifically came for the eclipse

Upside - great campground for the fall as it's located in the country where there's plenty of colorful trees to view. Downside - far out in the country so cell & TV service is almost non-existent...and the WIFI isn't strong enough for streaming.

I have been a seasonal camper for 13 years and have enjoyed my stay all those years and hope I have another 13 years there. The owners are wonderful, friendly and provide help when I need it.

Office smelled like cat urine really bad, the roads or lack there of were terrible in the campground. Not much activities to do as a family and campground seem kinda of run downed, nice staff but won't be back

The roads inside the camp are horrible. No internet, wi-fi and no channels on TV. It was very quiet and the people were very friendly though. Beautiful country.

Everything great except very poor wifi. Maybe a good system would cost a significant additional amount however, if it would raise the nightly cost by a dollar or two, it would be okay. Also, there were no events at all in the six nights we were there.

The people here are great! Our Trailer Jack broke and we had to work at the Prarie Peddler Festival all weekend. We bought a new jack and these guys installed it while we were at the festival! Also, these are the nicest shower facilities around. Great campground and great fun!

While the campground itself is very nice….. It would have been so much nicer if not for the consistently yipping/barking dogs… that no one did anything about, including the dogs owners… we were supposed to stay 2 nights, left after 1. If you are gong to have rules then enforce them!

The RV sites were more than 4" unlevel. The campground tried to address it with heavy gravel on one side but that doesn't work. The campground needs to remove the gravel,1 site at a time, and level the ground underneath. Then replace the gravel. Also the WiFi was practically useless. Additional investment required to make it minimally acceptable.

This is one of my favorite campgrounds! We stay here every year! We love that it's out in the country away from the hustle and bustle but still close to all of what Mohican and Malabar Farm State parks has to offer! My son loves their pool! We love the that they have crafts and games on the weekend! They have large full hookup, wooded sites! The pond is great for fishing! They also have some nice little trails throughout the campground! And last but not least, the staff has always been absolutely amazing! The owners go above and beyond to accommodate you if at all possible! We will always be back! ❤️
