Time stands still here in Amish Country, a lush landscape of rolling hills and quiet country roads where farms are still worked with horse and plow. Enjoy the heated pool, hiking trails and fishing lake. Weekend activities include fire truck rides, hay-rides, family movies, themed activities and crafts. For more family fun, head to the game room and play Ping-Pong, air hockey, shuffleboard, pool, darts, foosball and bumper pool. This KOA also features a playground, volleyball court, basketball court, pedal karts and horseshoes. Nearby Mohican State Park offers a climb to the top of a fire tower as well as hiking, biking and bridle trails. The park also features a covered bridge, Clearfork Gorge and the scenic Mohican River. Take a short drive to nearby Malabar Farm or shop for Amish furniture, crafts and baked goods. Attend the Great Mohican Pow-Wow and the Prairie Peddler Festival. Amish Country - Holmes County and Vicinity

Although Ohio's Amish live the simple life, traveling the country roads by horse and buggy, visitors to Amish country can still see the sights from the comfort of their cars. The Kokosing Gap Trail is a 13.2 mile paved trail from Mt. Vernon to Danville. This shady trail runs along the Kokosing River and through a wooded ravine, wetlands and scenic farmland.

Richland B. & O. Trail - An 18.3 mile paved trail from Butler to Mansfield that runs through picturesque farmland and crosses the Clear Fork Mohican river five times.
