The cabin was nice. The staff that did the karaoke was amazing but too many events were canceled. The pool never opened even though it was over 70°. they actually at this KOA charge for coffee which is ridiculous even if it’s just for the cup you could’ve bought a whole bag of cups for the price they charge no signs to tell you that just was odd. Never paid for coffee at a KOA.

Stayed over Memorial Day with family and were very disappointed. Staff refused to open the pool even when weather improved, and many activities were canceled. Amenities are run�down, Wi�Fi cuts in and out with no streaming, and cell service is poor. Several family members slipped on unsafe, muddy cabin ramps/steps.

I have a lot to say about the mud mess of a weekend! Rain not your fault but cancelling activities cause you don’t want you new cornhole bags wet is beyond crazy! Also cancelled other things that could have happened in the sprinkle! Pool was not open all weekend! No WiFi to even bring the kids in cabin to watch a movie! I had cabin 10 and there was a small river around it! I’ll send video

We enjoyed our stay. Our cabin was comfortable and clean. The amenities of the campground could use some upgrades but overall we would stay again.

Upon arriving & throughout our stay everyone was very nice . But staying in a cabin you’re forced to use the restrooms and showers . And unfortunately they were not kept up and we found them to be very dirty by our 4th day. We enjoyed our stay and will return .

No lights at night time, I drove over large rocks because I couldn’t see them and am now experiencing a tire leak. No lights anywhere throughout the park at night and there are multiple ditches that could be disastrous for others. I told them we would check in late and our cabins lights were not on which would have saved me time finding because it was so dark.

Registration process was simple. I asked for a reservation within 24hrs. Customer Service was excellent during call and onsite. KOA Camp facilities well managed, staff are very responsive to campers questions/requests. Staff are kind, patient and respectful and thorough. A special recognition to Victoria who helped our group of three camp sites and cabins with late checkouts. She was great! TY!!

As always, the staff was extremely pleasant & attentive. The grounds are very well maintained & it's easy to enjoy plenty of activities on-site or nearby. It is a great place to spend time- equal parts fun & relaxing. I rent a small cabin each year for Opening Weekend/ Prairie Peddler Festival which is a convenient, short drive down the road to the festival's back entrance. Highly Recommend!

The KOA was hosting a talent show on Saturday night at 6PM, but turned into a loud party by the owners and staff by 9PM, blaring music until 11:30PM. I tried calling the after hours line to tell them to turn it off, the staff member was slurring her words and said they’ll be done soon. I had to remind THEM that quiet hours started at 10:30PM. When I checked all she said was “oh sorry.” Path

Clean and Quiet! We made our reservation on the road as usual, roughly 2 hours before we arrived. I guess they do not get these sorts of reservations normally because when we got there, the cabin was not ready because they did not have it on their list that morning or before as being reserved. Not a huge deal, we just waited while someone cleaned the cabin, but thought it was worth a mention.

Amazing as always. I love the cats being there. I only have one suggestion. I think it would be a good idea to label the walking trails, and put markers with a map of where you are on the trail at intersections.

7/2025: Stayed in Kozy Kabin. Quiet campground, beautiful setting, and great staff. My only critique would be that the wrong up on KOA website needs to be updated. They list 3 different lodging options (2-room and 1-room). One of the 1-room options listed specifically no A.C., however the second one did not say no A.C. this is the one I chose thinking there would be A.C. I was WRONG.

I’m going to be honest. I never, and I mean NEVER write reviews. But this place smelled so bad that I actually have no choice but to write something. this place? Cat pee. Everywhere. Everything is soaked in cat pee. The food in their general store? soaked. the grass? soaked. every corner you turn, you will be hit with cat pee. owners eyes go in 3 different directions. don’t stay here. DIRTY!

We love camping here, the only thing I would say is I wouldn't recommend the one room cabin when it's summer time. We left a day early because it was so hot in the cabin and couldn't sleep.

Our kids did not want to leave to do our activities so one day we just hung out at the campground and played. It was out most relaxing and enjoyable day. There is a lot to do at the campground, fish, swim, Putt-Putt. We were able to wash a load of clothes. The number one thing though is that the people that work there were so NICE to us! It's going to be a yearly thing for us.

I like to stay in a cabin during the week when it's quiet. I enjoy the pool. It was dirty on the 1st day, but fairly clean on the 2nd day. The pool deck could use a good sweeping.

I’ve been going to butler koa for about 10 years, me & my wife. Always a good experience, but this time. Terrible infestation of bed bugs. I have around 50 bites. No exaggeration, I counted them. Again, it’s a great place for camping, but they need to insure people’s safety. The itching these little creatures cause is aweful. Please be more diligent & thoughtful.

We come every year and it is always an enjoyable time. The staff are friendly and there is plenty to do at the campground and around the area. My only complaint is for the last 2 years the toilets have been atrocious, no urinal and one toilet completely backed up with waste everywhere. Was like this last year too. Whoever their plumber is should be fired. Thanks!

We stayed in a one room cabin for a weekend in October and it was darling! It had everything we needed. We ordered firewood and they delivered it to our cabin and the staff was friendly although we had to wait on someone a while when we went to check in. The amenities could use a little upgrade as they were a bit run down. Over all we would stay again! We had a wonderful time.

We tent camped overnight here. The front desk staff moved our site so we could be better accommodated. The new site was perfect for tent camping. The bathrooms were also very clean.

My daughter camped at KOA outside of Butler. Her cabin was beautiful and her stay was awesome. Everyone enjoyed their time and space space. Including those of us whom visited. KOA offers great entities and clean environment.
