The shower left a lot to be desired.. Saturday morning I had semi warm water to shower , bust Sunday morning at 7 am there was absolutely no hot , warm or even Luke warm water .. the sinks in the bathrooms do not drain .. I had high expectations for this campground and was let down with just the bathroom/ showers ..

We are a retired couple who enjoy camping during the week. Therefore, we usually have campgrounds pretty much to ourselves and we aren't looking for lots of activities for kids. This KOA is a nice, quiet campground out in the country. Lots of sites are seasonal, but plenty of nice sites available. Camp staff are very nice and helpful. Beautiful scenery everywhere you look in Ohio's Amish country.

Campground is very dated and run down. Playground and mini golf rotted wood everywhere. Cut hazards on playground and roof falling off. Internet is poor. Due to poor cell coverage could not retrieve emails. Family pets laying in greeting area. Cat scratched one of our party. Paid for full hookup and sewer connection was up hill to access. We have been used to KOA Holidays. We had no idea the journey was so far apart from the holiday standard. We assumed with the award they received, it would be the same quality as the holidays. However, we were very wrong. The man that does a lot around the property that took us to our site was very nice. However, he was the only nice person (as far as workers go). Ran out of room for more bad stuf

Our campsite was spacious, level and had nice mature trees. The employees were friendly and helpful. The bathroom/shower area was very clean. We had a great time and are looking forward to returning soon.

Free ice was an unexpected pleasure. Lack of good cell reception made some things difficult but also enhanced the camping experience! Very friendly staff.

This is a great campground. It’s quiet which is exactly what I needed. The staff is awesome. Our pull through campsite was one of the largest I have ever camped at.

Wi-Fi was weak. Staff courteous and kind. The computer was down when arrived so we were ask to stop at the office before leaving. Unfortunately, the women in the office was not well trained for operating the computer and had to find some one else. It took a while to exit. The fire engine ride and siren were a nice touch for the kids. Spaces are small and uneven. Fire pits are too close to site.

Park could be very nice because it has lots of amenities; swimming pool, putt-putt, walking trails, etc. It's quite, tucked along a country road away from the main drag, with nice wooded areas. Park grounds very unkempt; a lot of permanent campers that aren't required to maintain their sites. Junk laying around park maintenance bldg when it could be disposed of or stored inside. Trashy.

Everyone was so welcoming and kind! There were several cancellations due to a recent store so the lady at the check in desk was kind enough to move out site to a bigger and more secluded area. This campground provided everything to have a wonderful, relaxing weekend with friends at a great price! We will be back this summer!!

The bathroom for the tent and cabin rentals needs much improvement. Mens urinal did not flush no water. Three shower stalls for the men one out of order, one was claimed for ones personal use that left one for everyone else. Had to wait forever for warm water and low water pressure. And lastly we went for a walk and had three dog’s attack us. Didn’t get bit but owners had no control of them.

Overall clean & quiet, only good features. Camp not very inviting, in a very secluded location, too shady & wet. Pool not at all inviting nor was the "free" mini golf which was very wet, dirty & not at all inviting. Would not stay here again, instead would stay at Mohican State Park, which is just a few miles away, at 1/2 the price of the KOA.

Stayed two nights at a pull-thru site in my travel trailer. Check in was quick and pleasant and I was guided to my site by the gentleman that also delivered my firewood. The hook-ups were conveniently located and in good order. The grounds were extensive and I was able to enjoy some walks in the woods during my visit. I look forward to my next visit in September.

Not really big rig friendly. Water for the hookups ran between a trickle and 25 psi. Lady at front desk was very accommodating and friendly.

This KOA is very over priced for the poor condition of the grounds. Very tight spots. Terrible putt putt course. Poor water quality. Overall appearance of this KOA is not worth the price we paid. See us again? Not a chance!

We had an awesome spot on the 4th turn of the racetrack, and had a great spot to watch the horse races. The campground had lots of grassy areas around the sites. They also had the best wi-fi of any campgrounds we visited. Too bad the casino looks at the campground as a “cash cow” and is slow to fix things like the pay washing machines & dryers. Pull through sites are a bit tight together, but nestled between trees which really gives the ‘camping in the forest’ feel. Our site was level when we pulled in, no blocks required. There were small private tent sites tucked into the woods that almost made me want to move out of the RV ….. almost. Staff was great. Campground was super clean. Lav/showers were super clean. We will go back.

We stayed thru the week so we can only evaluate that. I was surprised to see permanent residents but that goes with the changing times I guess. Still yet it was quiet and relaxing. My wife had family that lived nearby so it served as a base for us to visit and be visited. The staff were helpful and always working on something keeping the grounds neat. No complaints, excellent stay!

This is one of my favorite campgrounds! We stay here every year! We love that it's out in the country away from the hustle and bustle but still close to all of what Mohican and Malabar Farm State parks has to offer! My son loves their pool! We love the that they have crafts and games on the weekend! They have large full hookup, wooded sites! The pond is great for fishing! They also have some nice little trails throughout the campground! And last but not least, the staff has always been absolutely amazing! The owners go above and beyond to accommodate you if at all possible! We will always be back! ❤️
