7/2025: Stayed in Kozy Kabin. Quiet campground, beautiful setting, and great staff. My only critique would be that the wrong up on KOA website needs to be updated. They list 3 different lodging options (2-room and 1-room). One of the 1-room options listed specifically no A.C., however the second one did not say no A.C. this is the one I chose thinking there would be A.C. I was WRONG.

Great area to camp plenty to do in area. Camp ground and bathrooms were very clean and well maintained. Staff friendly and helpful.

Neat as a pin. Not a leaf out of place. Bathrooms and showers cleanest I have e seen in 1200 miles! We look forward to coming again this Fall.

Really laid back and quiet campground. Staff is great. Activities for the kids. Good prices at the campground store. Not a ton to do besides swimming in the pool and fishing. Really like that our campsite was a little more rustic but it was a tight squeeze with the campers beside us. Would visit again if we were in the area and looking for a more peaceful camping experience.

The road into the camp sites need major repairs. The bathhouse needs serious updating. Holes in drywall. Bugs in lights. Broken wall tiles. Main bathhouse closed from Sunday until Thursday at noon leaving only 2 family restrooms available. That's just pure laziness. We have been going to this campground for 10 years and find it more run down every season. We will give it one more try!

Had a very nice site to place the tent. The check-in was seamless. A bit buggy but that's expected in July. Didn't do much there due you late check in but they did have a swimming pool available.

There is not much to do at this campground or around this campground. It is in need of maintenance and upkeep. Sites and roads are very muddy when it rains, mini golf is in need of repair. Pool is very small. We will not be returning to this one.

Last year got a bad site..easily the worst/next to worst site. But I booked late and the place was full..this year booked well in advance and still got the narrowest-worst pull thru site. Internet was bad too many people trying to use. Grass wasn't mowed. Went store a few times during open times, nobody around. Can't specify sites when you book, but hear people talking - same site for years? BAD!

Tent area, restrooms, and pool were clean. Nicely stocked lake. If I had young kids, I would be bothered by the mini golf, which should be torn down. Basketball rim was bent and vb court not kept up. Water available by the lake labeled as drinking water was brown and unlikely drinkable. Only wanted it to wash hands with. Overall a good stay for our purposes.

Have stayed at many KOA and this one rates at the TOP of my list. My site was also one of the best ever been in. Great pool. Great time.

Overall it was great. Only issue was the karaoke on sat night until 22:30 am made difficult to get up early to get to race. Facilities were clean and well maintained. Sat am did find an issue in female lower bathroom but cleaning lady was there and taking care of it and apologized several times.

I’m going to be honest. I never, and I mean NEVER write reviews. But this place smelled so bad that I actually have no choice but to write something. this place? Cat pee. Everywhere. Everything is soaked in cat pee. The food in their general store? soaked. the grass? soaked. every corner you turn, you will be hit with cat pee. owners eyes go in 3 different directions. don’t stay here. DIRTY!

Great fun for our whole family, activities were really nice during the 4th of July weekend, put-put, kids crafts, America birthday party cake and ice cream, watching the hotdog eating contest, and the corn hole tournament. Pool was so clean and well maintained. All in all a awesome weekend with our grand children.

Bath house nice. Lots were terrible, little gravel and all seemed to be no where near level. Won’t be back to this KOA.

very small, quite campground. Pool was nice. Sites were large. Some Bathrooms were locked because they didn't want to have to clean them. the internet was good the brief time it was available. the rest of the time it either wouldn't connect or was too slow to use.

The grounds were very dirty and over grown The pool was dirty with cloudy water Lots of old and junk campers sitting around The KOA sign on route 97 Did not say which way to turn for the camp ground I would not recommend any one to your campgrounds And we would never come there again Clean your junk up

We love camping here, the only thing I would say is I wouldn't recommend the one room cabin when it's summer time. We left a day early because it was so hot in the cabin and couldn't sleep.

Very nice KOA! This KOA was off the beaten path and that to me was a plus. The sites were awesome and we had a great one. The Kampground was quiet and the workers were helpful and friendly. This is a wonderful KOA and I will return when I travel through Ohio again. The only down side was I didn't have time to stay longer. Thank you Butler KOA staff you are awesome!!!

Stayed one night. Would prefer to stay longer. Back in sites were long enough that I didn't need to unhook the trailer. Sites are gravel and somewhat spaced out from each other. The road to get to the campsites is in need of some work as a bit of inattention and you're in the ruts at the side of the corners. All in all a good stay.

Our first venture to a KOA Journey and it will be our last! Seemed like no one worked there as we saw no employee interaction over 3 days! No monitoring of quiet hours or rules kids and dogs running through our campsites. No internet and even when it was working they ask you not to use it to stream TV. The place has a trailer park look and feel to it. Bad from start to finish. Won’t be back.

The campsite was great and the employees went above and beyond to help us. We had an issue with our awning and with their help and help from the campsite next to ours, we were able to get it closed to get home.

Our kids did not want to leave to do our activities so one day we just hung out at the campground and played. It was out most relaxing and enjoyable day. There is a lot to do at the campground, fish, swim, Putt-Putt. We were able to wash a load of clothes. The number one thing though is that the people that work there were so NICE to us! It's going to be a yearly thing for us.

We stayed from Thurs to Wed and were less impressed this time than a year ago. Trash uncollected for a couple days, the bathrooms uncleaned for multiple days, and it seemed the attention of staff went to just a couple sites where there was a lot of activity. Two days before we left, a huge RV was placed in the site next to us, with the driver's door a few feet from our fire ring rendering useles

My first experience with any KOA was amazing, and I expect all future KOA stays to be the same and anticipate coming back! The staff and employees were all extremely nice and helpful, good people! I loved the site that we had and the pond is beautiful and obviously stocked! Showers were pristine and a convenient gem. I have no complaints whatsoever, definitely a 10/10, we will be coming back!!!!!!

I like to stay in a cabin during the week when it's quiet. I enjoy the pool. It was dirty on the 1st day, but fairly clean on the 2nd day. The pool deck could use a good sweeping.

This place is a hidden gem!! We came across this location by accident. Nestled in farmland, with rolling hills and charming small towns. At night, absolute quiet. The owners could not have been more friendly or helpful. My only regret is that we spent only one night!

This is one of my favorite campgrounds! We stay here every year! We love that it's out in the country away from the hustle and bustle but still close to all of what Mohican and Malabar Farm State parks has to offer! My son loves their pool! We love the that they have crafts and games on the weekend! They have large full hookup, wooded sites! The pond is great for fishing! They also have some nice little trails throughout the campground! And last but not least, the staff has always been absolutely amazing! The owners go above and beyond to accommodate you if at all possible! We will always be back! ❤️
