This is a great campground. Everything you could ask for is provided except, perhaps, cable TV. With everything else to do, we didn't miss cable and it was one less thing to connect and disconnect when setting up and tearing down. Our request to be positioned near our friend who was camping here at the same time was honored as was our request to extend our stay another day. Overall enjoyable.

The staff was great especially Mike. We are first time RV owners and he answered all our questions and made sure we knew how to get a hold of him if we had more. Love this campground. The bathrooms and showers are the cleanest I’ve seen.

Cabin was fine. The bathrooms were filthy and the park run down. Among the many issues were the following: no toilet paper, no water in showers, no water pressure, no hot water, drains in showers backed up, light fixtures falling from ceiling, no overall cleaning. The advertised put-put was old and in varying stages of decay. Horseshoe pit grown over. All in all a deep disappointment.

Filthy bathrooms, place is in really bad shape. Bad smell all over, old rigs deteriorating. Very hard to get to, roads are full of holes and it's not suitable for RVs.

This campground needs some major updates, not at all what I’d expect from a KOA. The permanent campers have taken over, nothing to do, and the roads to get there are horrible. The camp store has a cat and it definitely smells like it. Photos were very misleading.

We were here only one night but it was beautiful. We had a dead battery in our vehicle and they had a jump box and got us on our way.

The owners and staff are very nice and helpful. I stayed for 3 days and I do not think the bathrooms and showers were cleaned during my stay. Especially the bathrooms/showers by the office. There was a storm that caused tree limbs to fall and the limbs were not picked up. I stayed at this KOA last year and the showers by the office did not have hot water. Still the same.

Except for the heat lol, this KOA is a 5 1/2 star place and is a place we would stay again. And they are very pet friendly!!! The cabins are awesome and so clean!!! So much to do in the area!! The Amish store in Loudonville, is a must!! The pool at the KOA is fantastic, so refreshing!!! Love this place!!

Our stay was brief but very pleasurable. Great sites with sun and shade. Very helpful staff. Dog park with double entry gate for safety was great feature Good water pressure- everything in order at this KOA

We stayed last year as well, the camp personnel are as wonderful as ever and this will always be my go to for my camping needs for the Inkcarceration festival. You guys are wonderful �ϋ�

The shower left a lot to be desired.. Saturday morning I had semi warm water to shower , bust Sunday morning at 7 am there was absolutely no hot , warm or even Luke warm water .. the sinks in the bathrooms do not drain .. I had high expectations for this campground and was let down with just the bathroom/ showers ..

Other campers we friendly, staff was friendly, only complaint is need a few more garbage cans close to the sites , and showers need work water was cold .other than that I will be back .........had an awesome time and love the area .....maybe a Porta john closer to the tent sites.....

We are a retired couple who enjoy camping during the week. Therefore, we usually have campgrounds pretty much to ourselves and we aren't looking for lots of activities for kids. This KOA is a nice, quiet campground out in the country. Lots of sites are seasonal, but plenty of nice sites available. Camp staff are very nice and helpful. Beautiful scenery everywhere you look in Ohio's Amish country.

We were not extremely pleased with our stay. The location was very run down compared to the pictures I booked online. The office lady was not knowledgeable of the area, when the store on site did not have bait, she was not able to assist us with where to go to purchase bait. The bathrooms were very dirty and on our first day, there was a lady that kept the bathrooms unable to use for 5 hours.

Bathroom was not cleaned for the 3 days that I used it. The owner was very nice, as was their maintenance person. It is not clear on website which cabins have A/C and which don't. a couple of them are marked, but is confusing. I have stayed in KOAs across the country and this is the first without air and heat in the cabins.

The office personnel weren’t extremely nice but not bad. Our cabin was clean and ready upon arrival. The bathroom was not clean and the water was hard to regulate temperature. Overall we would stay again because it’s a good value for the price and convenience of one night stays!

Campground is very dated and run down. Playground and mini golf rotted wood everywhere. Cut hazards on playground and roof falling off. Internet is poor. Due to poor cell coverage could not retrieve emails. Family pets laying in greeting area. Cat scratched one of our party. Paid for full hookup and sewer connection was up hill to access. Great facilities, but we were surprised at the behavior of some guests (guy letting his dog pee on the trash can in men's room, campers who had a full bar and party going late in the night, so much profanity coming from other sites). We understand that's not KOA's fault but it makes me reluctant to recommend the site for families.

We have been used to KOA Holidays. We had no idea the journey was so far apart from the holiday standard. We assumed with the award they received, it would be the same quality as the holidays. However, we were very wrong. The man that does a lot around the property that took us to our site was very nice. However, he was the only nice person (as far as workers go). Ran out of room for more bad stuf

Nice clean well cared for campground, despite recent storms that damaged much of the Mohican area. The owner was friendly and very knowledgable about the area, which helped me alot. While It is smaller than many KOA's, there's plenty to do at the camp and away. If you want to get away, and want a relaxing stay, I highly recommend Butler KOA.

Wasn’t a bad experience. Was hoping they had a band or DJ one of the nights since it was a holiday weekend.The bathrooms were terrible. In the women’s, one of the showers worked. Family's Beware is unfortunately what I have to say. Campgrounds is clean, affordable and adorable for family camping, however, it is clear from other campers reviews that alot had the same problem our family did for quite a few years now. The managers are not filtering the "party campers" separate from the "family campers". Our whole entire night & morning was ruined from loud & obnoxious drunks

Our campsite was spacious, level and had nice mature trees. The employees were friendly and helpful. The bathroom/shower area was very clean. We had a great time and are looking forward to returning soon.

Free ice was an unexpected pleasure. Lack of good cell reception made some things difficult but also enhanced the camping experience! Very friendly staff.

This is a great campground. It’s quiet which is exactly what I needed. The staff is awesome. Our pull through campsite was one of the largest I have ever camped at.

Stay away from site 15 there's a spotlight in the middle of the road that will light up your whole sight at night and shine so bright in your tent that it will make it hard to sleep

We stayed in a one room cabin for a weekend in October and it was darling! It had everything we needed. We ordered firewood and they delivered it to our cabin and the staff was friendly although we had to wait on someone a while when we went to check in. The amenities could use a little upgrade as they were a bit run down. Over all we would stay again! We had a wonderful time.

We tent camped overnight here. The front desk staff moved our site so we could be better accommodated. The new site was perfect for tent camping. The bathrooms were also very clean.

My daughter camped at KOA outside of Butler. Her cabin was beautiful and her stay was awesome. Everyone enjoyed their time and space space. Including those of us whom visited. KOA offers great entities and clean environment.
