Disappointed in this campground.The store/office, which smelled horribly of cat urine and had sickly cats walking around. The "store" was deplorable did not even carry marshmallows. One of the amenities is their putt putt course, which was covered in yard debris, not even usable. The pool had clear water but needed to be swept horribly. Lastly staff can't decide who the "6" people can be on site

I wasn’t aware there were different levels of quality with KOA so I was disappointed here after staying at a KOA Holiday. Staff was nice. Didn’t have a picnic table but eventually got one delivered to our cabin. The cabin (4) wouldn’t lock. Dumpsters at front entrance were overflowing and smelled bad. Stay was overall decent but won’t visit again.

One good thing about mohican/butler koa is it is quiet/but you see the staff very often.our site was good. Theroads leave somthing to be desiredbut that ison the state and county not on the campground but no real problems with the our stay

Staff was super friendly, restrooms and showers were very clean, there did not appear to be a bad site location on the grounds. The weather did not cooperate much so we didn't get to walk all of the trails throughout the grounds, but there were plenty to choose from without having to leave the grounds. Having a fenced in area for our pups to stretch their legs was definitely an added bonus!

For me, there were a few "not ideal" issues; it was quite a way off the beaten path, the windy dirt road to the upper level was washed out on one side and a bit squirrely, and I had to change sites for the 1 night I was staying as I spent an inordinate amount of time trying to position my camper to level it front to back for the slide out, but the site had an incline that made it impossible.

Our site was clean. The last night we stayed, there was a wedding. Despite THEIR rules stating no loud music at any time, they played loud music til 2am. We were on the other side of the camp & heard it all. Pool not heated as advertised. Put-put covered in tree debris & very run down. Fishing pond not clean-only caught scum and water weed in 5 days. Trash never collected & dumpsters overflowing.

This place was the most relaxing and amazing campground I have spent time at! We have the pleasure and the joy of a cat who decided to make our home his home while we were there and it couldn't have made it more special! I wish I could upload a picture of him with my grandbabies and yes he's snuck into our cabin! We will definitely be back!

It was very rainy so everything was wet and muddy. Our area had not had new gravel added in a while, so it was also slippery. Sewer hose had to run uphill, so dumping tanks was impossible. Asking previous campground/future campground info just because we had a dog is unacceptable. It was none of their business. WIFI was terrible. Will not be back to this one!

Came in for coffee to the little store. The Keurig did not work and there was no fresh coffee made. The pot was empty kind of disappointing. But I love coming there so I still gave you a 10.

Beth and her husband were awesome!! Her craft was fun and good for those of us art challenged ���. Trees need to be trimmed up to avoid rubbing/touching the roof of the camper.

Grass wasn't mowed in our area- it was ankle high, bathrooms were not very clean and fans in bathroom had dust and dirt with air blowing around in the bathrooms.

We really love the little cabins. Bed was comfortable. We had a fire in the fire pit and we used the grill. This was the first time we stayed in the cabin camping and we absolutely loved it.

The crew at camp went above and beyond in everyway possible. I am a disabled vet and they made sure my access to everything was easy and made sure i was comfortable. Thanks you for a great stay. I wish it could have been longer.

We enjoyed our stay and do plan to return the staff and crew were very helpful and professional and really made the stay great. We highly recommend the Butler/Mohican KOA to all of our friends and family members. Again we are planning are next stay with them!!!!!

Very friendly and most helpful staff. Restroom / shower facilities are extremely clean and well maintained. Plenty of activities at the campground from the swimming pool, mini golf course, kid`s themed party`s at the pavilion, etc.

All the other KOAs we have been to were much cleaner and updated. I didn't realize our cabin didn't have a/c we were bummed about that. The screens were also broken so we couldn't really open the windows for airflow. It was quiet and seemed friendly for our weekend stay.

The roads in the campground are VERY NARROW. I mentioned to two of the workers that the doggie bags were empty and they never got refilled. Also, the garbage can was overflowing and the worker just drove by without picking up the garbage. All the workers were very polite but there wasn’t any follow through.

The cabin was nice. The staff that did the karaoke was amazing but too many events were canceled. The pool never opened even though it was over 70°. they actually at this KOA charge for coffee which is ridiculous even if it’s just for the cup you could’ve bought a whole bag of cups for the price they charge no signs to tell you that just was odd. Never paid for coffee at a KOA.

Despite the weather being very rainy, the terrain of the campground did not allow for adequate drainage, and there was a stream running down the front side of site. The location of the office and the amenities was too far for walking for some. This was my first adventure and taking camper to a non-seasonal site. Everyone was very nice, but I would probably not return.

Stayed over Memorial Day with family and were very disappointed. Staff refused to open the pool even when weather improved, and many activities were canceled. Amenities are run�down, Wi�Fi cuts in and out with no streaming, and cell service is poor. Several family members slipped on unsafe, muddy cabin ramps/steps.

In the scheme of campgrounds, this one is pretty rough as far as layout and upkeep. They advertise the pool as heated and open above 70 degrees however, the heater is broken and the pool never opened on the 2 days above 70. After parking our small camper, our campsite was about 5 feet wide with the fire pit almost in the road. The perk to this KOA was location to the Mohican Forest.

I have a lot to say about the mud mess of a weekend! Rain not your fault but cancelling activities cause you don’t want you new cornhole bags wet is beyond crazy! Also cancelled other things that could have happened in the sprinkle! Pool was not open all weekend! No WiFi to even bring the kids in cabin to watch a movie! I had cabin 10 and there was a small river around it! I’ll send video

Not many campers on the side where we stayed but the garbage cans were full and could be emptied more often. I get it that is a lot of ground to cover all in all good campground friendly customer oriented staff and a good experience. Thank you.

This is one of my favorite campgrounds! We stay here every year! We love that it's out in the country away from the hustle and bustle but still close to all of what Mohican and Malabar Farm State parks has to offer! My son loves their pool! We love the that they have crafts and games on the weekend! They have large full hookup, wooded sites! The pond is great for fishing! They also have some nice little trails throughout the campground! And last but not least, the staff has always been absolutely amazing! The owners go above and beyond to accommodate you if at all possible! We will always be back! ❤️
